The thing I love about box sets is that, while each book can be read as a stand alone novel, you get to read the stories in chronological order. You are not left wondering what on earth may have happened in a previous book when prior events are mentioned. With a box set, I also like to pause and read something else in beteween books, so as not to get an overdose of the same characters. A great set murder mysteries that will keep you guessing. Recommended reading.

It was questionable whether I gave this 3 stars or the 4 I finally did. The basic stories are good, with characters you can identify with; but, the stories/plots drags on and on in places, even seems to repeat in many instances. To me it was two books, both long. I'm not sorry I read it and there are places you can "skip" and not miss anything.

This set was a good read if a little drawn out.... I feel the storyline told could have told in a shorter manner... It has so many twists that unless u really concentrated u lost the plot along the way.... Pity as it would have had greater impact I feel had the series been a bit shorter.

I thought this book was really good and kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. I liked the way each book followed on from the next. I only read at night before I go to sleep and I found I was going to bed earlier and reading until much later at night because I didn’t want to put the book down. Excellent.

I discovered this author then saw this boxed set for sale. Read every one and loved his writing. The flawed characters, the interwoven lessons, the twists and turns. A book that makes me think, even when I've finished and that entertains me is what I've found with this author. Bravo!

This is indeed a gripping series which is filled with twists that will have the reader wondering what the hey!! Truly this is a great read i went to sleep with this box set about 4 nights,I absolutely did not want to put it down!

A detective with true instincts
This a excellent book. Full of intrigue, suspense. A real page Turner. A very believable story in each book. Highly recommend this book to fellow readers.

There is a lot of action in these two series
I liked the Tom Lang series better than the Titan series.
Tom is an impatient detective who frequently put himself at risk solving crimes. Somehow he survives and and keeps plugging along.

This series is awesome
I really enjoyed reading this series and had a hard time putting it down. The author has made is main characters real and human, not super heros. Storylines are quite good and intriguing. Ready for more by this author.

I enjoyed this series. Got a bit bogged down in book 4 but finished the series and enjoyed following the character. I usually like all this authors books. Good characters, good plots.

Good for most of it. Got somewhat redundant and lengthy in last 1/3. Characters were interesting , funny and easy to relate to although they do become predictable.
