In the Enclave of Thrudore, lives a community of elves. Their lives are happy and carefree until they have complaints of missing elf children. Selli, a seeker in the community is asked by the High elf to search for a reason why they are missing. She gets more than she bargained for and gets entangled in elf experiments brought on by humans being allowed in the enclave! something which is forbidden in their world. With the aid of samara Natanus and a few orphans that had been found by an old warehouse, they go in search for the missing... To be confronted by the whispers of the gone... Selli must use all her wits and wisdom to fight an evil force that surrounds and infiltrates their very existence.
I enjoyed this read, read it on Kindle but after I got a paperback, love the depictions of Elven life in the Enclaves of Thrudore! awesome name for it. A long enough book for it not to be called a novella, a whopping 283 pages! I loved Smillia, it almost sounds Scandinavian, I think Aunt samara is a powerful mage if I am correct and the transport bag! genius! I could do with one of these.
Im new to good reads, so hopefully this is the first of many reviews. Well written and an indepth delve into fantasy.. Delightful, Thanks
I re-read this as it was rewritten from a short novel to a 240 page awesome fantasy story! Wow, what a difference, loved the journey with Selli, an empath seeker who traveled the realms by way of a "clearing" 4 realms await...Loved Smillia, lovely and snowy and Thrudore where chucklenuts could fall from the tree, but warned you not to eat too many or you would laugh your head off! Genius!
As an avid player of fantasy games, this was right up ma street...
Not much to say about this piece of junk. It was tolerable for a while, just decent enough to keep reading, but when the ML kisses her around the midpoint of the book, it becomes too stupid to continue.
A really good read, full of fantasy and the plight of Selli the seeker helping the orphans from the terrible suites. would love to see what they actually looked like. A ;long enough read and a good story.
