After what happened in Vermont, there was only one thing left to do.
A great purge was in order, a fresh start for the Cherry Blossom Girls. No matter where it took us, it needed to happen.
For Fiona, for my parents, and for those who would lose their lives over the course of the following weeks.
Out with the old and in with the new. Our enemies had to go.
Obligatory: Cherry Blossom Girls 9 contains a harem; LitRPG humor/stats; superpowers used in ways they weren't designed to be used; metafiction. This series was inspired by The Tick, Stranger Things, Deadpool, Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions, and the anime Elfen Lied.

What can I say about this piece of work? What a way to end. HA!
I've followed this series from the very beginning (which is an ideal way to start). Is that really two years ago? Jeezo. The characterisations have grown - on me, and I with them - and I've enjoyed all their adventures, their tragic losses *sob*, and their gains.
These final pages are something I honestly never thought I would see in a Harmon Cooper book. Absolutely brilliant! You'll never guess in a month of Sundays, and I'm not hinting either.
I would love to see, in the future, maybe some (or all) of the characters as surprise guests in another one of the author's series. Any chance? The mind boggles.
Loved the series, the strength of the storylines and the writing, and the people. I'll miss you, guys...*sniff*
I chose to receive an early ecopy of this work which I then voluntarily read and honestly reviewed. All opinions are my own.
Cherry Blossom Girls 9 is the last book in the series, so that means that a lot needs to happen in the book and lots of people are going to die. For those who have read the other books, you know what to expect and are sure to enjoy this one to. If you haven’t read the other books, then do yourself a favor and start at book one.
Warning: this book contains shameless promotion for another of the author’s books. You might just have to read it too!
My biggest complaint about this book is that it feels rushed. Things happen to fast. There’s been so much buildup, that the sudden ends of so many characters and plot lines are a bit of a let down. This is kind of like the last episode in a tv series when the series gets cancelled suddenly, but the writers want to give the audience closure.
Contains graphic violence and graphic twisted sex with a harem.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
All good things must sadly come to an end. I've been following this series all the way through, and loving every minute reading it. Although I was rather personally fond of the villain, I was much more enamoured by the main characters, the Cherry Blossom Girls, guided by their sage leader, Gideon, as they face their enemies for final time. This is the volume I have been waiting for, as loose ends are wrapped up and final battles fought. As a reward for getting through the series, we are left with the most wonderful epilogue... I won't post any spoilers, but this amazing novel does give perfect closure.
I will admit, at times this series was a little slow and sad, but I definitely liked how it came together. The author did a great job writing in a style I hadn't seen before. I appreciated the slice of life elements that it had as it made the characters more real. I also liked how Gideon grew as a person over the course of the series. It was small, but there. I definitely would like to see the Superhero adventures of the CBGs even if it's a compilation of short stories.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading Gideon’s story, he faced some really tough times, but still soldiered on. Harmon Cooper once again created a masterful world with all its ups and downs - the harem benefits aside. I really do hope the CBGs continue on their journey to be ‘superheroes ‘ , there are still more individuals with enhancements that need to be dealt with, either for good or bad. Thanks for the journey.
Where to start? I started this series a while ago. The first book was hard to get through. I though the MC was annoying. But, he was endearing as the series progressed. He became the nerd fantasy that most super hero fans want to become. While I do feel this ended a little too abruptly, it was still good to see a conclusion. I do hope that we get more, however, as I love these characters, and I would love to see them developed further.
Wow this is just the best if the series yet almost all wrapped up in a bow but with so many revelations and of course we get more of the CBG and the improved kick ass Gideon. I hope this series continues as i see so much more in future if other fans agree.
Loved reading these books a lot different to what i thought they would be but he's living every body's fantasy l hope that Harmon Cooper gets enough reviews to write even more of the cherry blossom girls because they are well worth reading I don't write reviews that often because I never know what to write so all I will say is try them you won't be sorry
Gideon goes hardcore on his enemies. The author did a good job in wrapping up the story arc but still left room to continue the series of the readers are still enjoying this series. Overall it was a satisfying conclusion to the arc.
This is a perfect place to end and an epic conclusion but I don't want to see it end the series has always been one of my favorites and will continue today even if another book doesn't drop
A fitting end to the series. In my opinion also one of the best. The last few were not has good has the first few but Harmon has redeemed himself with this ending to the series.
Wrapping it all up we come to book 9, which ties up most of the plot threads, full of the fun characters, action, and adventure that we have enjoyed from book 1 onwards. Well done sir, looking forward to more CBG and your other books.
Book 9 was awesome. Gideon gets more power and they wrap up this story arc very nicely. Now we just need all the books in the series to hit 100 reviews so the story can continue.
