I don’t think Brandon will ever replace Isaac or Marcus or even Rico, but I no longer dislike him. I have to admit my head was spinning at the beginning of the book, I am not sure how Shandi Boyes manages to keep everyone straight but it is amazing! Soon enough I was engrossed in the story and what a story it was, it is full of information and resolution to some of the unanswered questions of the Enigma series - I am so sad to see it end it was a remarkable series. There are some sad scenes but overall it is a journey of discovery for Brandon and Melody. The epilogue is perfect and will leave you with a smile on your face and a sense of completeness.

This is the 3rd book in Brandon’s story and should not be read as a stand-alone. Brandon and Melody are great characters and have been through so much. Their story has lots of twists and turns, drama, steam and suspense. Entertaining read. I liked it.

Love, love, love Brandon and Melody. Make sure to have tissues ready. This is an emotional whirlwind. Like I said in my review for ‘Hushed Guardian’, Brandon is full of surprises … but always the protector.
It’s not easy reviewing this book because it’s hard for me to be impartial. The book draws you in to where you feel like you are there experiencing the pain, the angst, right alongside them. This third and final book of Brandon’s story does answer a lot of questions that were left hanging in the last book. It gives us closure, but also leaves the door open for more later on.
If you want suspense, you’ve got it. If you want depth in your characters, it’s here. In fact, it’s so good that you almost can actually feel the pain and turmoil as it happens. There’s no doubt about it, this is an emotional ride…. but it’s not all hurt and pain. You’ll find yourself laughing too. And that laughter is needed. It keeps things in perspective.
Brandon and Melody share a bond that no matter what happens, it just seems unbreakable. And trust me, a LOT happens. This entire series grabs you and entices you to keep reading. It’s not one to be easily forgotten. And, for me, that’s the final judge of a good book. Will I remember it six months from now? Yes, this will be remembered a lot longer than six months. Good job, Shandi Boyes. Good job.

This book...
If you’ve read the other 19 books in the Enigma Series, this is a wrap up. If you have any questions this book answers them. The chemistry between Shandi’s characters are always off the charts, but I definitely think Brandon and Melody take the cake. Brandon is so complex through every book throughout this entires series you don’t truly understand him or know him until you read his books and unearth the real Brandon James McGee. Melody is a strong female character with more heart than most people. This book does NOT disappoint. Thank you, Shandi for alone me to be apart of Ravenshoe and all of these incredible people 👏🏽

This whole story is full of suspense and uncovering the criminals acts affecting people from the past. It was so involved, but some characters I just need to know more about after reading it. This isn’t my usual type of book - being more about the crime connections and investigations - but I was glad I read it.
Brandon, though, is the real hero in every sense. The real man with deep feelings for people and who suffered so many hardships that would have broken anyone else. I liked him so much and felt so bad for all he went through. I was disappointed that so little of the story of his adult life was spent with his true love. He deserved better.
I like that Melody was a deaf person living in the hearing world and her father not letting her accept she was disabled - she had different skills, not lessor skills. I have profound hearing loss and read lips. I appreciated some of the subtleties that were unique to deafness in the book.

Absolutely loved this final book of the Enigma story and the last book of Brandon’s Story. How do you put into words what this character has gone through? If you love getting all the feels from a story, then this is the trilogy you should be reading ! Make sure you have tissues because it will make you cry for him. Also, you should really read the entire Enigma series before you read his trilogy. Why you ask? Because it will amaze you at the depth and scope of what this author has accomplished.Plus then you’ll know all of the characters involved. Trust that they will grab your attention on page one and keep you reading. This whole world has been built just for these characters! Amazing work! I’m positively not giving any details because that would be a dirty shame to give any spoilers. Yes, it’s that a beautiful storyline! Well done Shandi Boyes!

What a wonderful way to celebrate Melody and Brandon's life so far.
Melody and Brandon life has always been torn by betrayal loss and a strength of love that has been neverending, despite the passage of time.
The characters were beautifully written heartwarming emotional moments that left my heart hurting at times.
The storyline is as always captivating with the depth of characters and their stories.
The mantra that both Melody and Brandon were taught
Protect. Honour, Obey and Serve
were what saved them in the beginning will it save them again against the odds as their lives take another twist and turn.
I highly recommend this book. It gives closure to so many questions, however opens the doors to many more.

How do you leave a review for a book that marks the ending of an era? The Enigma series is hands down one of the BEST series I’ve ever read! Twenty books in all, that’s crazy, but so worth it to read all of them! Once you start, you constantly wonder when Brandon would get his story. Shandi finally let us into Brandon’s world and a lot of us have had our minds blown by unearthing so many things about the elusive Brandon. This is the third and final book of Brandon’s story and it answers so many questions. This book hit on so many emotions you definitely should grab some Kleenex! I think this was the perfect conclusion not only to Brandon but to the entire Enigma series. Seriously guys, this is a MUST READ!!!

This is the third book in Brandon's story and cannot be read as a standalone. Silent Vigilante and Hushed Guardian must be read first.
This was the perfect conclusion to Brandon's story. We got so many of our questions answered, but in true Shandi style are left with so many more.
I am really sad to see the Enigma series end. After 20 books I love all the characters and their stories. I cannot wait to see what Shandi has in that devious mind of hers for us.
I'm really hoping to get Grayson, Demetri, and Julian's story soon. This book made me want theirs even more.
This is definitely a must read!!!

You have to read Silent Vigilante and Hushed Guardian before reading this book as it is not a standalone. This is a wonderful conclusion to their story and also the entire Enigma series. Brandon and Melody are stuck together like glue and screws so that while everything happens around them, and to them, they still stay together and are there for each other. As with all the books in this series the suspense, mystery, secrets and so much more. You will definitely need as full box of tissue beside you when you start this book.

Another winding road full full of emotional twists and turns. Brandon and Melody go through a lot. Every time at looks like a mystery is solved another one opens up. Mystery, action, angst , betrayal and forgiveness. Complicated characters with some baggage, Brandon has a deep sense of loyalty and protective to a fault. These things take him though a series of events that sometimes have you doubt him. Is he helping or hindering? His it seems like he is stumbling his way through and then something happens that makes you go oh okay. He is often underestimated and misunderstood.

Forever love
Melody and Brandon loved each other for so.many years. They were apart for some time but still loved each other. Something always happened to keep them apart. Then they saw the.light. Melody made her life with her fiance but couldn't commit all of herself. Brandon only worked hard and was reckless. But they found each other, worked their way to each other and made it.happen. Brandon made a ton of.mistakes costing his career and so much more. His friends helped.him or pushed him in the right direction and Melody took care of he rest. So loved this story and so happy they made it back to.each.other. Shandi well done!

Almost full circle.
I have read almost all of the boo!s.I'm the enigma series and Brandon is by far my favorite. I wish the people who hate and doubted him could have discovered the reasons behind his actions and the back stories so that was disappointing. But all of my questions from the previous books were answered. Shandi is an a!amazing author. Her writing is wonderful and she developed her characters really well. I love how she made the follow up books from Isaac and Isabelle's story cohesive as if I was watching the same movie just from different points of view. I highly recommend the enigma series especially Isaac, Hugo, Hunter, Regan and Brandon's stories.

I have to say by the time I got to Hushed Guardian I was a bit……..idk frustrated? Tired? Kind of bored. I really can’t say because on the whole I LOVED the entire 20 book series. So interesting and my favourite type of book/series is when they all tie together. Maybe I shouldn’t have read them back to back to back. I had a like/hate relationship with Brandon throughout the entire series but really began to like him in his first book. I know everything was necessary to wrap everything up so I powered through and was pleasantly surprised. Either way, Shandi knocked it out of the park with this series.

Quiet protector
This was the greatest way to finish an amazing trilogy!!! Brandon and Melodys story has tore my heart to pieces but the moment they Brandon found out what happened to Melody and why she left absolutely broke my heart completely devastating.
These 2 worked so hard to do things the right way but sometimes that just isn't the way things go.
This book tied everything up beautifully these 2 or actually 3 deserve all the happiness in the world and those who deserve to be punished get the punishment they deserve and then some more for a few!!!

Oh wow!!! What can I say....This story was a bundle of emotions for me but I wouldn't have it any other way. Finally we get to understand everything we wanted to know about these two characters. We all discover why Brandon is the way he is and we discover he's a lot more complex. I loved it!!!!
In true Shandi style we are left with wanting to know about other characters in the story. Brilliantly written!
If I could rate this more than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would.

Oh my...we have seen Brandon in other books but to read his trilogy was very special. We finally got to know Who he really is and why he is the way he was.
This book takes you on a journey that is one major rollercoaster ride leaving you breathless, in tears, laughing, and all other emotions you can think of. Questions answered and questions raised leave you waiting to read the next book on these amazing characters you can't help but love.
Brilliantly written as usual and if you have never read a Shandi Boyes book you have no idea what you're missing

This is the final book in the Enigma series - 20 books total I think. This Part is a trilogy about Brandon and I really enjoyed this book. Many emotions and lots of tears. A difficult read at times when you read what this character had been through. Also, you should really read the entire Enigma series before you read his trilogy in order to get the most out of this final part. This whole world has been built just for these characters and I think the author did a great job.

As with all her books in this series, this is another show stopper. I just love her writing style and she never disappoints. The interaction between character is always off the charts and you cannot help but feel what the characters are feeling. She really moves you and once you start reading, you will not be able to put it down. I always look forward to her books and she is one of my favorite authors for this reason.

Addictive Reading. Wow!!!
Amazing book. I just finished the entire Enigma series. I’ve read the “Perception Series and Bound Series as well. Once I started reading her books I couldn’t stop reading them. Her stories are very addictive leaving you wanting more. It’s an emotional roller coaster at times but they all have great outcomes. I highly recommend reading these books once you start you can’t stop. I’m starting the Russian Mob Chronicles next. I love how all her books characters have connections. Very enjoyable, definitely 5 Stars.

Love, Honor, Serve and Protect
Melody and Brandon have been soulmates since they were four or five. They were friends and eventually started dating. Things happened and they went their separate ways without communicating with each other.
Seven years pass and they touch base with each other on a professional level. So much has happened in those seven years. Brandon always swore he would protect Melody and he did.
Great story and so many questions answered. Love, love, love this series so much.

Wonderful Ending
This is Part 3 of the final trilogy in the Enigma series, and the very last book in the series. The threads of Brandon’s investigations start coming together and many more Enigma
riddles are solved. We also see what happens between Melody and Brandon when all their secrets are revealed. Shandi wrapped up this series beautifully. I never could or would have predicted any of the twists, turns, or resolutions.

Brandon and Melody share a special closeness that keeps them connected no matter what happens. The author lets the reader feel everything, both the good and the bad, and it’s almost like you have lived the story along with the characters. The story line is intriguing and well-paced. It’s suspenseful, complicated, uplifting, and heartbreaking. The characters will touch you and you’ll be drawn closer. This is an amazing book and worth reading.

Let me start off by saying, I totally fell in love with this series! I couldn’t stop reading them once I started. When I finished The Wedding, I had a bad taste in my mouth about Brandon. It took me 2 weeks to start his journey but now that I’ve finished them I have a lot of respect for him. Along with so many pieces being answered, as much as I love Isaac, I would want Brandon on my side. He went through a lot but in the end I was so happy for him! 💜

Phenomenal series so many twists so many questions answers you didn't even know you wanted or needed answered.
Brandon was always a character I never really liked over these three books I grew to understand him and even like him (his still no Nikolai his my man)

Shandi Boyes... OMG.. Wat can I say?? U have once again just tore my heart from my chest.. Brandon's story just puts u on ur knees and has u wondering, how do I get rid of these feelings u have going on within urself. Thank u for doing wat u do best.. making me wanting more.

This is book is the perfect end to the Enigma series. It reveals sooooo many secrets and explains sooo much it will have your head spinning. Get your tissues ready too because you will definitely need them! There are so many emotional moments in this book but they’re all real life. They don’t seem artificial at all. Another home run for Shandi Boyes!!

And just like that, the end of Enigma. I struggled with parts of this book because I wanted more of Melody and Brandon. At times, even though it was a fresh perspective on everything that had started this series, it got daunting for a diehard fan, like me. I just wanted more of the stars.
