Fate gave them this second chance. Are they brave enough to take it?
Nine years ago, I met Michael O’Sullivan over a stolen bottle of red and a platter of bacon-wrapped dates.
Handsome. Perfectly poised. Fiercely intelligent. Fastest rising star of the Dublin legal world. Top thirty most successful under thirty.
But none of that mattered to me—only that he made me feel like my heart was full of sunshine when he danced with me in the rain.
Nine years ago, he broke my heart when he walked away.
Now I don’t have time to dance in the rain. I’m working several jobs to support my kid. She is the light of my life. She looks like me but with his eyes.
I’ve just been assigned to assist a visiting hotshot lawyer—the arrogant, bossy, rude ass who can’t even be bothered to sign his emails with his full name.
Guess who my new boss is?
I just have to get through the next few weeks without Michael finding out my secret. Or letting him break my heart again.
Not easy when he’s determined not to let me go again.
June 2025: this edition has been updated with several chapters of an outrageous grovel. enjoy seeing this arrogant billionaire on his knees xx
My first book by this author ... normally I love secret baby books but this one, to me was not well done ... the 2 stars are for the author who writes very well ... and the story had potential ... however, the way it was written, it focused more on the H and h as people who have an emotional connection rather than as a couple who also have a child; it was like the child was an afterthought I found the main characters to be very wishy washy ... Manwhore H who sleeps around ... h who doesnt inform H about the baby; not for any good reason except for pride ... she would prefer to neglect her child (who is a little genius) as she works multiple jobs to support her daughter but it would be smarter and way better for the child, to have the father paying child support so that the mother could spend time with her daughter felt sorry for the daughter as she was a lonely child for most of the book and h knowingly turned her face away from her child's loneliness as she is too caught up in her emotional mess (at one point she falls apart when she realises H is her new boss when she has gone to collect him from the airport and her daughter is with her) so she runs away from there, asking the taxi driver to drive away; her daughter gets worried while the h behaves like a hot mess) H was not much better ... daddy issues ... so halfway through he runs away ... and at the end, it's h who chases after him to Ireland ... It was H who needed to man up ... Honestly, towards the end, I was no longer invested in the H and h; I just felt outraged; that little girl deserved better parents ...

I’m sorry but wtf is this? I don’t think I’ve read a book with such horrible parents in it. She kept her daughter from him for years and she knew who to call and tell him and she didn’t. That was her first mistake. But then not telling him and him finding out during a one night stand???? I would normally feel sorry for him but he was just an ass. The past version of him and her were just great, but they literally changed for the worse. And her poor daughter. She was literally just tossed aside all the time and her mother barely spend time with her. She literally takes out her anger on her daughter verbally. And the best friend is basically the only one who spends time with her. And mind you, I didn’t even finish the book and only read up until 53%. If you rated this well, I cannot understand you and your morals. 1🌟
⭐⭐ because ì read the whole thing. Another man whore and a women who worked so much she didn't have time for herself. Of COURSE they have sex . . without protection being mentioned or even a semblance of having the talk about bills of health or past sex partners.
Another brilliant book! From the start Michaels character is a troubled one, he has issues with being good enough, rich enough or owning the best of everything. All this stemming from problems with his father. When it comes to love that’s a big no. He prefers one night stands or available PA’s .
Abbie is a free and wild lady, she travels the world with her backpack, grabbing food whenever she can get it by whatever means necessary. Meeting Michael was unexpected for them both. Their special weekend leaves them both with unexpected memories and a whole host of consequences.
Wonderful reading and a satisfying experience, Sienna has ended the series with a bang. It’s been a wonderful thing to be part of reading Arc’s for this series and every book has blown my mind a little more. I recommend reading them all , fantastic and outstanding books.
I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review
"Be the one to close the door". That's Abbi's first lesson after meeting a stuffy Michael. They had a magical weekend in Ireland where he forgot the type of person he really was, an over achiever, arrogant, conceited, focused and intolerant. All it took was one thought and Michael bolted and went back to his responsibilities. A long time has passed and serendipity plays a factor in reuniting them. It's hilarious the way Abbi plays him in the office, definitely an ingenious mind at work here. Michael is really thick headed but still endearing in some forms. Hilarious brunch chapter with the O'Sullivan family and the "butthead" name is given appropriately. I enjoyed this book.
DNF at 36% and I just skimmed the text the whole time.So over authors (in this case this author is a female herself) writing shitty ass female characters. The guy gets to have sex all he wants but the woman can’t?
I didn't like this book from Word Go.. The language used was so off-putting that i had to keep checking if this was a female author or male. The MC Michael was so disgusting I couldn't care less by his mediocre redemption, it was so gross the way he just used females and every woman he met we had to have his inner thoughts about how he would bang her or her suck him off so he could literally get what he wanted. He said it multiple times, "I didn't even know her name or care," and "I didn't even look at her face." And the lovely "I said fuck? And she said which position" ewww Another Booktok absolute fail.. I thought this was going to be a nice time gap man realises he has a daughter and kept thinking about the girl from that night, but it appears to be anything but. The relationship between Abbi and Zara was odd. I understand the author was trying to show the struggles of a single mum working multiple jobs to give the best for her kid but there was never any really nice sweet moments to show the strong mother daughter relationship. Zara (a 9 year old) was clearly struggling with friends, and her mum was closed off emotionally to her, and the author never showed any growth. She just had Abbi yell at her. I felt so sorry for her. The scene where she stayed up waiting for her could have been a really good scene to show the growth, even having Abbi break down and zara comforting her would have worked. Feel free to read if it's your thing. This is just my opinion.. I won't bother with anything more from this author if that is how she views women in particular.
My feeling towards this book are very bad. The plot could have been good but the book needed work. First of all FMC was a mess of a mother. She neglects her child of any attention for her own pride of not taking anything from the MC. The MC is also such a bad person. He sleeps with anyone in the beginning (which fair enough) but readers will not enjoy watching MC be so horrible to all the women in his workplace and sexualize all the other female characters beside the FMC. A lot of things just doesn’t make sense to me in this book but the two main things is: 1. The fact that the FMC only calls one time? Although I do understand why she wouldn’t want to call him again but she an adult and the child deserves to have a father. I do also think the FMC withhold the child from her father to her own benefits, which is bad when it is clear that that the child “Zara” wants a relationship with her father???? That’s so selfish to withhold just because YOU are butthurt over him. And can’t get over him. 2. The fact that we get like 150 pages of grovelling but the things he does are clearly not what she wants (minus buying the childhood home). Throughout the last 100 pages, he doesn’t seem to grasp that the FMC just wants him. He needs to be told by HIS child what the FMC wants from him. I think it could have been a lot more meaningful if he had done some inner work and figured it out by himself The child “Zara” is the best thing of the book. Surprisingly, thinking of the mess that’s her parents
This took some time to get through, because honestly, Michael was bottom of the barrel when it comes to MMCs. The fact that he ditches her in a cabin with 100 Euros and a note saying it's for the bus. Then we get Abbi's POV where she's pregnant, and she calls only to realize that he doesn't remember her (at least as far as it goes when his receptionist tells him who's on the line). We're then forced to read several sex scenes of Michael with random women, including his personal assistant that he had when he first met Fiona. He's not a decent person. But why women authors feel the need to create these men who fuck anything that breathes and still make the women completely celibate because they've essentially been pining is maddening.
And I really don't want to talk about Abbi. She really didn't exist beyond how she could be a figure used to support Michael's supposed character growth. She was a mom, but only when the child was needed to show how much Abbi struggled and needed a man to help. I guess she worked at a law firm but as what? Who knows. Her job doesn't matter until she becomes Michael's personal assistant. She's a friend to Sandra? Sure, as long as Sondra is only there to tell Abbi that she needs to get laid or she's still in love with Michael. She was just non-entity.
The pacing is pretty good and the writing is decent. But the characters were such 2-dimensional caricatures that it took away any real enjoyment.
WHERE THE HELL WAS THE GROVELING??? HE JUST UP AND LEFT 2 TIMES AND YOURE TELLING ME THAT SHE FORGAVE HIM JUST LIKE THAT?? THERE WASNT EVEN AN APOLOGY DAMMIT
For the plot, this book, I surprisedly stated, that is actually one of the best I've ever read in its sub genre: secret baby romance. I loved how the author develops the storyline such things. I barely found it monotonous. It tends to allure me coming deeper into the conflicts of story, that it feels right, it seems real. I loved how the author patiently makes no effort to rush reaching out the climax. She tries to show us about the struggle of being a single parent is, the way on raising the child by alone, about the psychological effects to the child concerning separated parents, and so many inner conflicts to be narrated of. I felt kind of these things happen in real lives. Only one thing, for Sarah character as Abbi's best friend, I wondered why the author doesn't give enough portion for her to be in Abbi's life. Isn't she Abbi's best friend and her only friend? It's kind of odd that Sarah isn't included into Abbi's future life. It's not fair I think. I didn't get it really. That's all. Oh, and the book cover, I don't know but I guess it's not suit it fine with the story theme in the book. But who am I to judge a book by its cover?
In this one we had the boss angle and we had the secret baby angle, and we even had a second chance romance angle! I liked the story overall and I really want to read more in the series but I felt like this one just got annoying at times, mostly because he just kept running off without even talking to her. I really loved how she just showed up and just screamed at him! It was so fun to see that play out.
This was so well written with the characters having such well rounded personalities for a romance book. It exceeded expectations. Abbi and Michael meet the night he gets promoted at his law firm. She’s in Dublin on a stop on her solo tour of Europe following her parents death. She’s lonely but adventurous and thinks she’s finally found someone to go along with her after spending a fun night out drinking with Michael. They end up at a festival in Glendalough drinking through the day and ending with a handfasting. They sleep together the second night after professing their love. Michael quickly sobers and realizes he has to get back to his real life and leaves Abbi before she wakes up. Abbi tries calling him months later to tell him she’s pregnant but she can hear him on the phone being overworked and rude to the secretary so she hangs up.
The story skips ahead 8 years to Abbi becoming Michael’s assistant at a law firm she works at and he comes to work at through a merger. There’s great tension and angst between them before Michael runs into their daughter, Zara. He connects with her so wonderfully. They both think Zara is so much like the other parent. They go on a cute trip as a family to visit a few national parks for Zara’s school project that unfortunately ends with Michael pulling away again to immerse himself in work. He eventually quits his job once he realizes it doesn’t fulfill him the way his family does, but thinking he’s already ruined things with Abbi and Zara he heads back to Ireland after paying off Zara’s tuition and buying them a home.
Abbi flies to Ireland to yell at Michael about throwing money at them.. again.. instead of realizing they want his attention and love. I loved this. After she really lets him have it he tells her his whole family is over for their weekly meal and heard the while thing 😆 Michael’s family ribs him about having a daughter and about Abbi coming to set him straight. It’s a cute moment with Michael’s family. In the end Abbi and Zara move to Ireland to be with Michael and they have another child.
I really wasn’t expecting to like this so much. I would definitely read again and am interested in other books from this author.

Sienna has a way of building just the right amount of angst into her stories. I have a soft spot for her Irish Kiss series, and this book is another reason why. There is a certain hardness to each of the O'Sullivan men, and the same is true for Michael. He is a driven businessman, whose success knows no bounds. He keeps striving for more, but isn't content.
Michael has met his match with Abbi, a loving, free-spirit who loves to throw caution to the wind. Abbi is Michael's opposite, and as such, they are perfect for each other. Their first meeting is utterly electric and resonates with both of them. Abbi awakens something in Michael, and at first, he is shaken by their intensity. Michael retreats back to his comfortable and successful business world, and Abbi is left to wonder why. When they do meet again, sparks fly as only Sienna knows how to write.
I have loved Sienna's writing from the first novel of hers that I picked up. Her stories are intriguing and very well written. There were quite a few times where I busted out laughing while reading this. She has a gift and I can not wait to read more!
I've been looking forward to Michaels book ever since Sienna introduced us to those pesky, dangerous -on-your-heart O'Sullivan boys. And let me tell you, it was everything I was expecting and a whole lot more!
Michael is more than a workaholic. He brings all new meaning to the word driven. He wants the best of everything: cars, houses, clothes. His idea of relaxing is catching a 2 hour nap at his desk.
Abbi is a free spirit. She's making her way through Europe, being a ghost and taking advantage of her ability to blend in at some of the best hotels.
One is focused and singularly minded, the other wild and untamable. Both are pushed by invisible forces, and they are headed right towards each other. And when they collide, the explosion is magnificent!
I love these two. They are the absolute perfect pairing. Yin and Yang, darkness and light. The things Sienna puts them through, makes the ending so much sweeter. I had all the feels reading Michael and Abbi's story.
This is my favorite book in the Irish Kiss Series!
only 54% in atm, but so far 3 things stand out to me: - their shitty people, granted with potential to be okay, but she’s also a bad parent and so far he is too. i thought she’d finally be honest with Z after she ‘meets’ Michael but god no. - their time at the festival is kind of cute, with Michael saying some romantic things. - Michael just seems like an asshole. might come back after i (hopefully) finish, fingers crossed it gets better
edit/update (contains a tiny spoiler): - finished it today and it gets slightly better, Abbi seems to only be able to be a good mum and alive when Michael is there and Michael is still an asshole but he gets a bit better. - the family is big, cute, and funny. - their relationship gets slightly better but not anything great - there’s a pregnancy at the end that came out of nowhere?? - not great if you’re looking for a good single mum, family romance - it’s well written, i just didn’t like the characters or the depth.

Loved reading the sensational and spectacular romance story by the phenomenal author, Sienna Blake. Nine years ago, Abbi and Michael had a wonderful love affair and when Michael all of a sudden leaves, Abbi is left pregnant and unemployed. So, now she has a good job and has to pick up an important client for her boss but needs to pick up her daughter from school on the way to the airport. When she gets to the airport, she sees Michael, drives off and leaves him stranded at the airport. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of heart-break and humor, and a must read love story.
This book started off very slow, but I pushed through it and it started to get better. Micheal is a complete duche he is your typical rich arrogant asshole.
Abby is a fiesty girl on vacation to Ireland. She spent a night with an arrogant man, and finds out she is carrying his baby, fastforward nine years she has a decent job and a beautiful little girl.
Micheal and Abby's paths cross once again on Denvor, but nothing is as it seems tensions rise and differences are set ablaze.
Will Micheal and Abby be able to set their differences and past aside to become a family or will they be destined to say goodbye?
I received a copy of this book via arc and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
The Irish Kiss series doesn’t disappoint and the final book in this series is the perfect ending. Sienna knows how to draw you into her books as you are right there with Michael (a savvy businessman striving for more but is not content) and Abbi (a free loving spirit). The good ole saying opposites attract sure are represented in this book.
This is my first ARC review and Sienna’s writing is spot on and the Irish reflection true to self. I always find myself curled up with her books, laugh out loud and I am left always smiling.
Let me begin by telling you I had seen this book on Facebook for weeks before I received the ARC and this book did not disappoint.
Sienna Blake is an absolutely incredible writer and this book seriously shows off her skills as a writer. This book is the 7th and Final book in the Irish kiss series and if you haven't already looked at this series you really need to. this book can be read as a standalone but is a great follow on from the others as well.
We meet Michael at the beginning of his career as a hotshot business lawyer who is working every hour he has put everything into his work having nothing but work to live for and when we meet him he is at his very own promotion party and is the most miserable he has ever felt but can't figure out exactly why. When he sees Abbi trying to break into the linen closet he uses this to his own advantage but seriously has no idea what he has let himself in for.
Abbi is a free spirit, travelling the world on her dead parent's inheritance. walking into hotels and preparing to be part of the waiter staff to gain food and drink for a short time. she walks in and proceeds to be invisible just as she likes it until Michael spots her. she uses every excuse she can come up with at that moment but when Michael asks her to unlock the door and let him in as well so he avoids being taken back to the party she complies because he makes her feel visible for the first time and a little more alive than before.
They both enjoy an incredible weekend of drinking and dancing and in the end, making love as neither has experienced before but the fears of Michaels past which he left, come back to haunt him whilst lying n bed next to Abbi. so he does what he thinks is best he runs. He runs back to a life he knows how to control and is recognised as the top of. leaving a very hurt and confused Abbi behind to figure out what went wrong and why she was left. Abbi is left to close off her heart and pick up the pieces left behind after Michaels exit but when she finds out she is pregnant she tries to contact him only to hear a closed-off cold-hearted man and puts then[hone down before she speaks to him.
10 years later Michael goes to Denver to help in the take over of a company only to find his new assistant is the one and only Abbi. As soon as she sees him at the airport she freaks and drives off leaving him alone and her trying to fight back the feelings he stirs in her and the hurt he has caused. she blocks off her feelings so well her daughter has no idea what is going on.
I don't want to go into too much detail about what happens next because its something you should read for yourself. This book will have you feeling every single mention. It will make you cry and also want to shake the hell out of the characters, not only that but you will laugh your head off at some points but you seriously go on an incredible journey to rediscovering love and happiness and seeing that the past is something we can't control but the power is in the way we live our present and prepare for our future.
Go and read Michael, Abbi and Zaras story. You will not be disappointed.
🍀 This series was SO GOOD! I’m honestly sad it’s over. One thing I did notice though — a few mix-ups with eye colors throughout the O’Sullivan brothers’ books 👀. Noah had blue eyes originally and somehow by Eoin, Darren, and Michael’s books, they’d mysteriously swap from blue to green. Not a dealbreaker, but it did trip me up a bit while getting lost in the story!
👶 I LOVE when authors add babies/kids into romance books — it adds this whole new layer of emotion and connection. Watching not only a couple fall in love but also navigate life with a little one involved is chef’s kiss.
💼 Michael is a focused, workaholic businessman and Abbi is his total opposite — wild, chaotic, and absolutely perfect for him. She forces him to live, and I was here for it! Their chemistry is 🔥 and their relationship gave me all the feels. Plus, Eoin is still the hilarious, chaotic mess we all need as comic relief 😂.
💖 I knew Michael was driven, but dang — he had some real jerk moments (and I’m putting that nicely). Thank goodness he finally pulled his head out of his backside and realized what truly matters. Zara was precious, and the father-daughter moments? 🥹 Perfection.
📱 Their story starts with one wild weekend, a missed opportunity to reconnect, and nine years later fate throws them back together. Watching them navigate old wounds, new responsibilities, and their undeniable connection kept me turning pages. Yes, a few predictable moments, but mostly surprising and heartfelt.
📚 This book can be read as a standalone but trust me — the whole Irish Kiss Series is worth it. Sienna Blake just knows how to write that perfect blend of angst, spice, humor, and heart.
💚 If you love protective Irish men, wild heroines, secret babies, second chances, and a family you’ll wish you could be part of, don’t miss this one.
✨ One of my favorite quotes: “And you said I was your dad,” I told her. She nodded and that was all that needed to be said between us.” 🥹
👏 Another fantastic addition to a series I’ll forever recommend! Can’t wait to see what Sienna gives us next!
My secret Irish baby is part of the Irish Kiss Series. But, can be read as a standalone.
And the night that Michael meets Abbi, he has just received an incredible promotion. He’s feeling unsettled and confused about what he really wants out of life. He catches Abbi in a compromised position and as one thing leads to another they spend a weekend together being completely free. As Abbi sleeps Michael realizes how he has completely blown off his life to spend the weekend with her and panics. He leaves her with some money and his number. Months later Abbi calls that number to tell him that she is pregnant, but doesn’t get the chance too.
Nine years later Michael comes to the states to work on a merger and is surprised to find that Abbi is his personal assistant at the Law firm. As they both struggle with the past, Michael learns about Zara, their child. Abbi reluctantly lets Michael into their lives realizing Zara needs him. But, their HEA may be threatened by Micheal’s inability to stay and his need for success at any cost.
Abbi has spent years on her own and doing whatever it takes to provide for Zara. Michael has been living his best debauched bachelor life with no strings and a very deep need for success. It takes him a while but he finally realizes what’s most important and what he has been looking for his entire life.
Abbi and Michael are on different paths but, are both looking to find themselves. This conclusion to the Irish Kisses Series is the coming together of two very different people who need each other to find fulfillment. Abbi is the release and freedom Michael craves. Michael is the stability and family she has been searching for.
Michael: Then Zara glanced up at me. “You said I was your daughter,” she said, her words simple, her meaning not. Abbi and I lcoked eyes before I look down at Zara. “And you said I was your dad,” I told her. She nodded and that was all needed to be said between us: I was promising to always be there for her and she was promising to always believe that I was going to be there for her. It was a simple as that. Because we loved each other. Abbi looked over at me and there were tears in her eyes
"Mmmm... ?????"

From the previous books we know the family history and all the boys have issues stemming from their father. Michael has inadequacy issues. Believing he is not enough or having enough. He doesn’t do love or attachments. Only one night stands.
Abbie is an independent woman who floats through life and travels all over. She is the proverbial experience seeker, backpacking all over. She met Michael by chance. Their encounter leaves them both with a host of moments and unintended consequences.
I just think he should have been mad at her for a little while for not really trying to contact him. Yea she semi ‘tried’ but because she got his office and he was busy. She didn’t even get on the phone to speak with him. That is not cool. I get that he left and hurt her feelings but they just met and what did she expect after not even two whole days. He missed 8-9 years and the whole experience of having a baby. But other than that. It was awesome. Plus I think she overreacted to him leaving their trip. Didn’t she see how hard finding his dad would be. Like he didn’t leave her like before. It was not the same thing.
This book was awesome. Love this author. You always get a great read with just enough steamy moments to need a water break.
Sienna Blake has done it again and went out with a bang for the O’Sullivan brothers. I recommend reading them all , fantastic and outstanding books.
