Miss Take

Rate this book
Miss Chief, Miss Fit, and Miss Take are three stories I wrote to read to my son in 1977, when he was 5 years old. He loved the Mister Men books by Roger Hargreaves, especially Mr Tickle, and at that time Roger Hargreaves had not written his “Little Miss” books. I sent my three scripts to his publisher in 1978, but they were not taken up. Not long afterwards, in 1981, they published his “Little Miss” series.
I read my Miss Chief book to a class of 7 year olds in a school in Bay City, Michigan, USA, and they loved it, and I was told that they often referred to Miss Chief for several months afterwards.
I hope that many more young children will like this series, which I am self publishing.
Miss Take was rather like a Magpie. Her house was called “The Nest” and it was full of bright and shiny things.
Miss Take was rather like her name, Read how she gets round her problems....
