This collection features ghost stories, mostly drawn from actual accounts, set in Appalachia. Several of the stories occur in West Virginia, but others take place in Kentucky and Tennessee. Photographs accompany most tales, adding to the haunted feeling.

Enjoyed the legends in this book. Short, but still enjoyable.
