From USA Today Bestselling Author, Celeste Granger.

Singapore brought them together and almost tore them apart.

Textile specialist, Aya Masters, travels the world negotiating in high powered board rooms and bridging the economic divide between the poor and the wealthiest of the wealthy. The only absence in her life is the love of family. Basel Ali, international finance manager for Ali International, crosses the globe seeking out new investments for his family’s millions. Private jets, board rooms and five-star hotels are the accommodations that signify his life. For Basel, honoring his family and the family name are everything.

A chance encounter in Singapore brings Aya into Basel’s orbit. He finds himself lured by her exotic beauty, brilliant mind, and sophisticated allure. Aya notices Basel, too, and finds herself not only intrigued by him but willing to take a risk with the one thing she’d always protected, her heart. The uncanny magnetism between the two shifts the world on its axis and throws Basel and Aya into a whirlwind romance neither could have anticipated.

This book is a standalone and has a happily ever after. This book is interconnected to the Brothers Ali Series.

Ali brothers are coming after your heart

Well I expecting something good when I heard the Ali brothers stories were coming but I was not prepared for this level of awesomeness. O’Shea was a dream but Basel is that dude and his sincere love and complete passion resonates off the page and this story appears to take you one place but drops you off in an entirely different set of emotions and desires to see Basel and Aya get the happiness they deserve and desire.

😲😲

I was hoping for some action and drama. I was getting bored reading this story. I had to Flip through a couple of pages because I could not take it anymore. I was shocked by the ending. I'm sitting here shaking my head, saying to myself “What the Hell is this”. This is my first time reading anything from this Arthur. I'm sitting here thinking to myself did I waste my money on this series. Smh part 2 here I come.

A good read but ending felt rushed

I truly enjoyed the burning relationship between Basel and AyA. The mystery behind her birth and her family added a good suspense but the ending of this book made me feel a bit cheated. I felt there was some loose end that needed to be closed and hoping that happens in book 2. I would honestly give this book a 3.5

"Basel" by Celeste Granger

My Speculation:

I loved this story featuring Basel and Aya's attraction for one another! This story was a page-turner as Basel's family enter into this adventure that seemed so right at the time it was needed. The author knows so well how to bring it all out to the reader with all of the emotions where one is at times will be 'happy, sad, mad, and even ready to fight' for a cause in her well-written stories. As always, be ready for smoking hot love scenes that will leave one in awe. What is left is to find out what is going on in the next series of other Ali Brother [Israel].

Good

Basel and Aya had an instantaneous connection that proved to be true love. Aya was raised under the cloak of secrecy, but Basel proved to be the man as he literally fought to prove his love for Aya. It was a sweet story.

I could not put this book down. I loved the storyline and most of all, I loved Basel Ali and Aya Masters. The Ali family is awesome! Basel and Aya’s story is a page turner. I enjoyed the international settings that the author takes us to. I totally agree with the dedication that says” when love is destined, there’s nothing that can stop it”. This book is a must read!

What an Intriguing Introduction

This series has started with a bang. The storyline is so well written and developed with such mystery and intrigue. Not only do you meet an amazing family, you are reunited with a familiar characters and the connection is well appreciated. The love story that’s blossoms is so sexy, sizzling hot, and emotional. The past relationships play a big part into the path of happiness. I can’t wait to continue this journey with the Ali Brothers. Grab you coffee or favorite beverage and enjoy.

Basel, although he and his family are well off, is a down to earth guy with a huge heart. Meeting Aya on his business trip to Singapore, turned his world upside down. He was immediately drawn to her, and wanted to love and protect soon after. Aya, a self-made business woman, was smitten with Basel at first glance. She felt that she could trust him, and let down her guard, without even knowing him. Love for these two was swift, but genuine and sweet. Loved how Basel cared for Aya. He was everything she never knew she needed. The entire Ali family, educated, bosses, and just good people. It was sweet how they embraced Aya, and supported her when she was grieving. The images that you portrayed of Singapore as well as Sierre Leone, was just amazing! I felt like I could see them in my mind. Can't wait to learn about the other brothers, but I hope that we find out about Aya and her sister. Enjoyed it!

Debonair and Classy

I enjoyed reading about Basel and Aya. Business professionals by day, eventually lovers by night. There were some unexpected twist and turns made for an interesting read. Can't wait to engage in the other books in this series.

I enjoyed reading this book and I'm looking forward to reading about the rest of the Ali brothers. If they love as hard or harder than Basel I know I will enjoy them just as much. This story was a bit of a rollercoaster with Aya's past. I found myself with my jaw dropped a little the whole time they were in Sierra Leone. Now I'm going to have to go back and read about O'shea.

A taste of true love

This has been so refreshing to read, a book that does not include dusty dudes and trifling women. It's amazing to find writers who expound on true reciprocated love and unapologetic truths. My first read from this author and I'm hooked. Can't wait to read her entire catalog.

Almost Great

I enjoyed this book until the end. The ending was abrupt and left the reader hanging. The ending felt like the Author became bored with the story and just rushed to end. Weird ending.
