Rhys Frost—he’s literally too good to be true. Tall, dark, and so handsome, with big strong grease-stained and work-roughed hands, a brilliant smile, and a heart of gold. He’s patient. He’s funny. And he wants me. He wants to do things to me that I’ve never even dared fantasize about.
The problem is, I’m a virgin, and I haven’t told him.

I found Torie Goode on the side of the road in a torrential downpour, looking like a sad wet rat. Then I got a better look at her, and I realized I had a woman of truly breathtaking beauty in the passenger seat of my old CJ-7. Somehow, I managed to let myself get lured into a road trip with a gorgeous, tantalizing woman...who was, for some reason, reticent to let things go anywhere between us, physically. She’s hiding something. And we’re alone in a car for hours on end, days on end. Connecticut to Alaska, to be exact.
I want her.
She wants me.
I just need to figure out what her hold up is, and how to get past it…and what to do if and when I do.
Jasinda Wilder is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of more than 100 titles including the #1 Amazon bestseller Falling Into You, the Audie Award-winning (best audiobook) Alpha, and the beloved, 17-book Badd Brothers series. She and her husband Jack Wilder have sold more than 7 million copies and have been translated into more than 20 languages worldwide. You can find them at their fairy tale cottage by a lake somewhere in Michigan with their 6 kids, 5 dogs, 2 cats, 2 bunnies, and way too many ducks and chickens.
So excited when I get to read one of Jasinda's stories! This one is Tori's story..we got a little bit of a preview in the previous book so I was even more excited. Tori is making her way to Alaska to be with her family..how will she get there?! I have to say I absolutely loved this story. The characters are amazing and have so many layers. The story is fun, sexy, sweet with plenty of interesting things happening. We get along for the journey and we discover Tori and someone else very special. I can't believe there is only one Goode left!
Tor and Rhys story was definitely a beautiful one and not crazy like Lexie and Myles. I love how different each sister is....
I tried to read this slow but it was so Goode I couldn’t put it down and just ended up finishing it.... now I need to go back and reread the whole series from Badd Brothers all over again.
Hurry up with Poppy’s story please!! Can’t wait to hear her adventure!
I think this might be my favourite Goode book so far. Torie needs to get to her sisters wedding and has 3 weeks to get across the country. As she is independent she insists on getting there on her own, but things don’t go to plan, cue hunky mechanic. Road trip, hotels, chemistry what isn’t there to like
Tori Goode is simply surviving and she's okay with that. But she has to get Alaska. She's proud and refuses to ask for help. Rhys is a good guy. And so their journey begins. Great story in a great series.
While the Badd and Goode stories may be read as stand-alones, tantalizing glimpses of Torie in earlier books meant I couldn’t wait to dive into her and Rhys’ romance!
Torie was heading to Alaska for her sister’s wedding and she was determined to make it there using her own resources. Fiercely independent, on day one of her journey she (luckily) ran into Rhys and that, as they say, was that. Soon these strangers were anything but, quietly acknowledging they were going to have more than a fleeting encounter… Rhys was a solid, good guy with big goals. He was single-minded, focused but had warmth that shone in his generosity and easy-going laugh. Torie was still trying to find her purpose, a hard worker but with little idea what could be her passion… As they found out, they were going to find what they were missing, in each other…
“We’re both awkward. It’s cool.”
They talked to each other. Embarrassing, frank conversations about personal, painful things - family, dreams, fantasies. About their goals or lack of them. Everything they didn’t share with anyone else – they quietly opened up to each other. Did they think about sex? Oh yeah, they thought about it. A lot. They talked about it even more…
Steamy with all the feels and family I hoped for, I savored their story, knowing only one more is left. Am not in the least ready for the end…
Oh my! Another hot read in this series. Rhys is one of my favorite characters in this series. He is perfect for Torie and this story is amazingly sweet. I strongly recommend reading the books in order to get the most out of this series, beginning with the Badd books. Another amazing addition to this series!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I don't know how they do it, but I love this series more and more each time. From the time Liv Goode introduced her girls in Badd Daddy I was intrigued with the personalities they would bring to the Badd Clan. They brought it and the family is bigger and better.
I knew I would love Torie. Although she was the enigma in the group since none of the sisters gave a clear description of her, she is by far one of the tender ones. Torie is also my favorite. I understood her. She doesn't know her path. She's not like her sisters. She just doesn't fit in. I get that. It's why it's easy to connect with her.
But then I also LOVED Rhys. He wasn't alpha like the Badd brothers, but he was protective. He saw his partner in Torie and he was not afraid to tell her. I especially loved how unfiltered he was around her.
A Real Goode Time is a Real Feel Goode story. Refreshing. Heartwarming. Sultry.
We're one book away from the end, and while it will break my heart to part from this incredible crew, The Wilders really did right by all the characters. I loved this journey and highly recommend these two series. The tears both from laughter and heart are worth it.
When this one first started out I wasn't too sure about it. I thought Torie was stupid for how she was going to go about getting to Alaska. Her view of everything will be ok while I cross the country with only $300 and I'll probably hitch hike, stop and work for cash to keep going was so not realistic and plain dangerous in this day and age. Her meeting Rhys was iffy too, the whole situation odd. I turned out good, but all I could think was that her roommates were right.
Now with that being said, I did really like her and Rhys together. From the start they were pretty honest with each other, of course it helped that both ended up walking into really awkward situations with the other. Their road trip to Alaska also helped them get to know each other better. Even when things got iffy their one night stop, they were forced to talk about things.
Once arriving Alaska, Torie had her eyes widen at just how much her family had changed and in a great way! I loved seeing the whole clan welcome both Torie and Rhys in, the advice they gave them and how they helped.
The last part was very sweet. Loved the letters that were exchanged and the future these two are setting out to build.
I've loved all the Badd brothers books. But every since we transitioned into the Goode sisters, it feels like something is missing. I think it's the family, all together part.
Another so Goode Badd Book by Jasinda Wilder! Torre is so sweet, so pretty and so confused. She doesn't know what she's good at or what she wants to do for a career. Right now she waitresses at the same place she did when she was 14 yrs old. Her life consists of work, spending time with her two dear friends who are also her roommates and living constantly broke. So when she has to get to Alaska for Lexie and Myles wedding, she hatches a plan that is basically doomed from the start. But have no fear, for when she is caught in a storm, soaked to the bone and freezing, riding in on his gallant steed is this gorgeous man. Okay, so he actually pulls up in his Jeep and he is not really a knight. But he does make her a too good to be true offer and seeing the mess she is in she can't really turn him down. So she gets in his jeep and then.... I hope you'll read this phenomenal series. It is one of the best I have ever read. You can just read this book. But if you start a book 1 of the series you'll get to experience how truly wonderful and entertaining this series is. Definitely one of the best I've ever read.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "A REAL GOODE TIME" I love this "Badd Brother's Series" Jasinda Wilder did a great job writing this hot steamy sweet storyline full of humor, intrigue, secrets, a book you can't put down until finished reading. Torrie Goode meets Rhys Frost in a torrential down pour on the side of the road her car broke down she looks like a drowned rat being stubborn and independant thinking she go to her sister's wedding all by herself see how that turned out. Torrie talks Rhys into taking her on a road trip from Connecticut to Alaska a long trip to her sister's wedding once in the car he realizes what a breath taking beauty she really is he's attracted to her. Rhys knows something is bothering Torrie she holding something back their both attracted one another but there's something she's keeping from him. The journey Torrie and Rhys take you on is interesting, entertaining, engaging, has some humor will he find what she's hiding from him will they get a HEA it definitely a book I would recommend a very well wtitten story and a pleasure to read.
i am totally gonna go there cause this book does so why not ... i have noticed it is a continuous topic in all of the Goode Girl series reads. boobs ... not wearing a bra ... i wish i could go braless ...but it is not something i feel comfortable with ... maybe it was the way i was raised or??! maybe we should have been raised in the early 70's that would be or have made it easier for us all? maybe we just want men to realize we all have them ... get over it ... stop staring already... LOL! i ... well they call it "free balling" what is it called to be going without a bra? ... we need a good word for it??! i do it at home ... maybe it comes with age? no clue??! there are times in this book ... where u just feel like u wish you could help these people see each others point. i can easily see how it could be easily fixed ... do u do that??! good book cover. i am curious where we will head next??! so fun!! i love this series.
absolutely have loved the world of BADD and the addition of the Goode. This latest book just left me smiling and almost giddy, those feelings of the first days with someone, the beginning, innocence, learning yourself and how far your willing to go with someone else. These characters were just so cute, their banter- almost digs at each other, the ways they"seen" one another so freely. Their openness about, well just about anything. They are great characters! I REALLY loved the character that was Rhys, I just thought he was exceptional!!!
I JUST WASN'T FEELING THIS ONE. RHYS AND TORIE. RHYS WAS A LONER. MECHANIC, CONSTRUCTION, TAKING REALTOR CLASSES. I DIDN'T LIKE TORIE REALLY, EVEN IN THE OTHER BOOKS. TRYING TO DO THINGS ON HER OWN. WITH A WOE IS ME ATTITUDE. EVERYONE LEFT HER, NOBODY UNDERSTANDS HER, BLAH BLAH BLAH. THE WHOLE VIRGIN THING DIDN'T HELP MATTERS, ANY! I LOVE THESE WRITERS. AND, MAYBE, IT'S BECAUSE I TOOK SUCH A BREAK BETWEEN THIS AND THE PREVIOUS BOOKS. WHICH I WAS BINGE READING UNTIL I HIT THIS ONE AND HAD TO WAIT. REGARDLESS. IT WASN'T HORRIBLE. I JUST DIDN'T CONNECT WITH THESE TWO AS MUCH.
Her female character is so young to be serious about life and love. The last 3rd of the book was interesting. Nice to see the older Characters. Putting Poppy's in the last part makes me think, what do you know about life. Loved the mothers book and the older sisters.

The final book to an amazing story-line. Sad to see it end, but man what great group of characters we got. Everyone had their own unique history to be told.
Torie needs to get to Alaska for her sisters wedding but she refuses to ask for help. She plans to take all the money she has - all $230 and take a bus from Connecticut as far as she can the hitch the rest of the way. She’s the Goode sister with no talent and no direction. She just smokes pot and waits tables. On her walk to the bus station in the pouring rain, she gets picked up by a beautiful man in a jeep. Turns out she was headed to the bus station at the wrong time so she goes back to Rhys’s house which is a loft apartment in a garage that also has a salvage yard. Rhys owns the business and has made his own way since growing up super poor in kentucky. They have instant attraction. After a couple days of working with Rhys to mae some extra cash, he decides to drive her to Alaska. So they set out on the road trip of all road trips and by the time they stop at a hotel all bets are off and they’re fooling around. But torie is a virgin and after a time she tells Rhys. So he freaks out and they end up driving pretty much nonstop the rest of the way to Alaska. They spend a couple days meeting the badds and the goodes and admit they’re falling for each other but Rhys has his home and his business so he decides to go back to Connecticut. He leaves the jeep with torie and flies home. Two months later he has sold his business and started packing his things. He sends torie a letter that he’s coming for her. He hasn’t called and no longer has a phone. He gets his shit and starts driving. Meanwhile torie has found that not only does she like fixing cars but she’s good at construction and flipping houses. She buys her own place and goes into business with Zane. Then Rhys shows up, they sleep together finally and she shows him the garage that is up for sale for him to buy. So he buys it and he and torie are going to fix cars together the end.

Tori needs to get to Alaska for her sisters wedding but she doesn’t have enough money to fly so she think she will start by going by bus but to get to the bus station she will have to walk and that’s where her trouble starts. Now walking in a down pour and getting splashed by the cars going by it couldn’t get worst but along comes her savior in a tricked out bright red Jeep but should she get in? Oh ya! Rhys is just trying to help out this chick get out of the rain. After offering to take her to the bus station he also ends up giving her a place for the night and a promised a ride in the morning but once he gets a eye full things become complicated. Oh WOW the attraction is over the top. And Tori is having the same problem but she got a secret that could change thing between them. So enjoy the read and learn her secret and if things work out for them!!
Excellent novel portraying Victoria's struggle with her own self worth, a "battle" she feels she has always been on, compared to her more successful accomplished sisters. Rhys is everything a girl could imagine, smart, funny, successful and sexy as hell. Tori's struggle in accepting help comes at a price though, can she finally let go of her doubts and fears or will she continue on the path of insecurity and her dull boring life.
Very well written plot, exploring thoughts and feelings of the main characters as they journey through the country and get to understand each others reason for how their upbringing has shaped the person they have become. The word building just flows and is incredibly realistic.
Frustration, humour, longing, happiness and sadness are just some of the feelings explored around Tori and Rhys's story. Its a story of finding love and laughter, a sexual awakening that's dam hot at times as we once again find ourselves in Alaska were visit with the Badd family, oh how I missed the whole darn lot of you.
Getting to know another Goode daughter has been adventure. Strong willed ,independent daughter Victoria or Toria as she likes to be called. Toria is a stoner just trying to figure out her life just like the rest of us. She to proud to ask for a plane ticket to get to Alaska to go to her sister's Lexie's wedding. So she off on a road trip adventure. But things don't start off to well. She is saved by a sexy as hell hot mechanic named Rhy. The more time they spend together the more chemistry between them grows. Soon they are on a road trip together learning a lot about themselves and each other. They are welcomed with open arms in Alaska and might just find themselves a new place to call home. I can't wait to learn about the youngest Goode daughter Poppy
Victoria Goode is a woman you cannot ignore. She is fiery, smart, independent, and full of spunk. When her plans to travel to Alaska for her sister Lexie's wedding are rained out she finds herself in the comfortable company of Rhys, who helps her see life from a whole new perspective. This was one of my favorite Goode or Band Brothers books. Tori is Amazing! She just has this spark to do life her way, with an independence that deserves mad respect. Rhys is much the same in that he's been on his own basically since middle school. He sets goals, makes a plan, and works damn hard to succeed. Rhys and Tori together are like an explosion you can't stop wanting to be in the middle of. Love the Badd Brothers and all Goode Sisters, too.
I was really sad for this one to end. I've been working on the Badd Brothers and Goode Girls series for some time now and am down to just one title left. If you want to invest some time and immerse yourself into the world of a small town in Alaska, start here. The writing is stellar, the brothers are hot and the romance is even hotter! This one, Rhys and Torie, was on of my favorites. She is a strong woman trying to find herself and a place in thia world, he is a planner who has never quite belonged. Together they are explosive!
This is book 17 in the series, it can be read as a standalone, but I believe it's much better when you know the whole story.
This book revolves around 2 young people who are almost innocent in a way. They lived a life where they believed that they were not valued. One was sheltered and had no Passion or drive 1 was left to fend for himself from a young age and had more drive and Passion than you knew what to do with.
This book does have a happily ever after there are no cliffingers and there is no cheating.
I love the Badd/Goode series! But what was missing from is book was no mention of Joss and Lucian! A big deal is made with intros to this huge clan. Even if some are not present, there is a mention of where they are? Like on a movie set, in the mountains as a guide, flying clients etc. - so for this reason I took away a few stars. I was THAT miffed. It was a great oversight.
Read this one because I knew the last one was coming out soon! Loved this series hate to see the end come but can’t wait for the next series! This is Tories story. She is on a road trip from CT to Ak tp her sisters wedding. She planned on taking the bus and then hitchhiking but met Rhyes before leaving CT. He offers to drive cross country with her and they find that they have a lot in common! Great journey. Next up is the last Goode sister
I know this only makes sense if you’ve read them all but I’m starting to get annoyed by everyone calling them ‘titties’. And all of them easily flashing each other like it’s nothing. I’m not saying some people aren’t comfortable doing that, but what are the chances that all these sisters do it and they hang out with all the Badd women who all do it. Seriously?!? Rant done. I really liked this one otherwise ;)
