While the Pretty Jam Good kitchen is under renovation, Hadley is thrilled to be a judge in the annual Grande Bake Off. That all changes when the front-runner is murdered, and Hadley's friend Mickie becomes the main suspect. Positive she can help clear her friend's name, Hadley begins sifting through the clues.
Snow is on the ground and fear is in the air. What should've been a friendly competition has turned deadly. As tension rises in Stoneybrook, Hadley teams up with Luke to make sure this case is solved before the competition ends in another murder.
A Juicy Murder: Book 5
A new juice bar in Stoneybrook has the town on a delicious health kick. When a woman is found strangled outside the shop, the townspeople swear they've never seen her before.
But someone among the locals is lying. They not only recognize the woman but had motive to silence her.
Hadley and her twin have three mysteries to solve. Who is the mysterious woman? Why did someone want her dead? And will finding these answers put their lives at risk too?
A Glazed Finish: Book 6
The annual River Run is a fall favorite in Stoneybrook. Participants end the race with a commemorative mug from local potter, Josie Cobb. But when one of the mugs is shattered over Josie's ex-husband's head and he's found dead along the riverside trail, the sheriff is sure the potter finally snapped.
To make things worse, the dead man had flowers and an engagement ring with him, only months after the ink dried on his divorce to Josie.
Hadley cannot believe the generous local artist would do such a thing. Before the authorities make a huge mistake, Hadley has to prove Josie's innocence. This trail of clues is about to lead Hadley to uncover a big secret in her small town
Eryn Scott is the author of heartwarming cozy mysteries. Her novels feature close friendships and strong families because those are the most important things in her life -- a little humor doesn't hurt either.
She calls the Pacific Northwest home and doesn't plan on changing that anytime soon. Eryn loves to hike, horseback ride, knit, ski, and read. She believes musicals are the greatest thing since lattes, even though she's not particularly good at singing or dancing -- hey, a girl can dream, right?
Her first cozy mystery series, Pepper Brooks, is based on some of the greats in classic literature. Each book features a different author from Shakespeare to Austen. Eryn's newest series is set in a little town called Stoneybrook. The Stoneybrook Mysteries follow local jam-maker Hadley James as she solves mysteries in her town's year-round farmers market. From deceased knitters to sabotaged florists, these crafty citizens keep Hadley and her twin brother, a deputy sheriff, on their toes. Pebble Cove Teahouse Mysteries are great for readers who love a hint of paranormal with their mysteries. These books feature a tiny town tucked between craggy coastline and rocky shores with quirky characters of both the living and non-living variety. Look for new releases from all three of these series in 2022 as well as Eryn Scott's new cozy series.

I read each of these books before but enjoyed reading them again in the boxed set. I love reading cozy mysteries especially when the author tells the story so well that you feel like one of the townies. That is exactly how I feel about this cozy mystery series by Eryn Scott. She is a gifted storyteller who provides well-written, clean, entertaining, romantic mysteries.
As a bonus, delicious recipes are included with every book. This box set includes: 1) Grandma James’ Mini Jam Tarts (A Flaky Alibi - A Stoneybrook Mystery Book 4) 2) Mickie’s Almond Honey Challah (A Flaky Alibi - A Stoneybrook Mystery Book 4) 3) Gingery Rhubarb Jam - a recipe created by Marisa McClellan, creator of Food in Jars (A Juicy Murder - A Stoneybrook Mystery Book 5) 4) Quick Pickled Snap Peas - a recipe created by Marisa McClellan, creator of Food in Jars (A Juicy Murder - A Stoneybrook Mystery Book 5) 5) Maple Bourbon Apple Butter (A Glazed Finish - A Stoneybrook Mystery Book 6) 6) Pumpkin Butter (A Glazed Finish - A Stoneybrook Mystery Book 6)
If you enjoy cozy mysteries with a little danger, a cup full of romance with a dash of humor you’ll enjoy this series. Add in a few kitties and some zany neighbors and you have a winner. Can’t wait for the next in the series!
The local sheriff in this small town and his twin sister and their friends team up in these 3 short tales to determine who the murderer is in 3 different situations. It is an easy and enjoyable read. There is enough character development to keep the tales going.
This is the second box set in the series, featuring books 4-6.
Book Four Hadley’s friend Mickie is in the small town bake-off competition, and ends up accused of the murder of the man in the lead when he is found poisoned. Hadley, Luke, Paul and Suze are determined to prove their friend innocent of the crime!
Book Five There’s a new juice bar in town, with a newcomer to Stoneybrook as its owner. When Hadley and Luke discover her standing over the body of an unknown woman, the twins and their friends start to investigate.
Book Six When Hadley and her friend Simone stumble across a body, she’s surprised to see the ex-husband of her mother’s best friend. It’s not surprising then that Josie, the potter, ends up being the prime suspect in her ex’s death, and that Hadley sets out to prove everyone wrong, and find the real culprit.
These three books actually have some rather important events in them. We see some new cats, Hadley has an important realisation, and there is movement on the relationship side of things. It’s all clean romance though, with feel good situations, small town events, and some humour from the quirkiest residents. If one gets the feeling that perhaps Stoneybrook is almost as bloody as Midsomer county, then I think the reader could be forgiven as they enjoy the cosy feel of the read and the small town fun and games.
A lovely cosy mystery series, with some recipes for cosy mystery fans.
I love this series so much! Hadley lives in the most divine little town with her twin brother and best friend Suze. I love the relationship she has with Suze. The characters are really great; the personalities, the growth, the way they are written. Luke is a former best friend turned maybe love interest...there is some backstory and history there that could evolve into a friendship or more. Hadley is at it again helping solve local cases with her friends and brother. Also, so many cute cats! The series takes place in the PNW and there are always gorgeous descriptions of the area that have me longing to go back. This series is so hard to put down!
I love Eryn Scott’s A Stoneybrook Mystery series! The characters are very likable and the cozy mystery kept me guessing until the very end. Hadley James sells jam and her twin brother Paul is the Deputy Sheriff. Paul is dating Hadley’s best friend Suze and Hadley is dating their longtime friend Luke. The four friends work on finding clues when dead bodies turn up. This is such an enjoyable cozy mystery series! #AStoneybrookMysteryCollection #ErynScott #KristophersonPress
I really enjoy reading the Stoneybrook mysteries. There's romance, well-written plots and always a bevy of suspects to keep the reader guessing. And then there are the jam recipes at the end. I especially want to try the Maple Bourbon Apple Butter recipe.
I loved these books because they don’t waste half the book setting up the murder or whatever. What I don’t like about them and several other books I have read lately is the over use of the word SMIRK give me a break. In my college English classes we were taught not to over use a word heck in high school we were taught not to over use a word.
I hadn't read the first three books in this saga, but that didn't matter. I found the stories interesting, but the writing was fairly mediocre. I constantly picked up clues, and knew where things were going, before the main characters did, which annoyed me. I felt like yelling at them to see what I could see! So I give it three and a half stars.
I like how Eryn Scott ties all the main characters together in each book. In my mind I picture what the town looks like, what each character would look like. This book had me thinking that the couple were behind the murder, you will have to read it and find out for yourself who committed the crime!
Hadley smart and vivacious. She makes great jam and if I was a real cook, I might want to try one of the recipes. She loves her cats, which is a real plus since I love my two cats. Good reading!
Had a hard time getting housework done while reading these Stoneybrook Mystery stories. Love the characters, both two legged and four legged. Love the setting, the mystery, the solution. A great way to spend the weekend.
Hadley owns Pretty Jam Good in quaint Stonybrook. Twin Paul is deputy sheriff. These three cozy mysteries are set with backdrops of a baking competition, a new juice bar, and an annual race. Nicely written. Each has jam recipes.
Enjoyed reading all three in this series. Eryn's storytelling had me walking with everyone in Stoneybrook. Loved all the characters. Twists and turns in each story which kept me reading until the end. After each mystery there is a couple recipes you can try out.
Fun, light cozy mystery that's easy to jump into the middle of the series even if you haven't read the first three. Likable characters and nice twists.
Super invested in the lives of these characters!! I also figured by the end of book 4 or 5 they would have used up all the characters too much, but I was wrong.
