This is definitely one of the best manhwas I have read in the past 2 years. Well rounded characters with the unfortunate lack of humans skills and personal hardships they each must deal with. The story is well structured, balanced and original.

10 out of 10 ! I picked it because it had over 100 chapters and the art looked good but gosh this Manhwa is amazing ! The characters, the setting, the plot (that we are still uncovering), everything is S-tier

I read this manhwa on the advice of my friend Angélique. As always, her advice hits the right spots.
At the beginning, the drawing of this manhwa 'disturbed' me because it's not a style that we find a lot. Eventually, you get over the style because the story is so great: the romance is super sweet, the characters and relationships grow and evolve. The ML is a character who has been scarred in body and mind. He hasn't had an easy life and the heroine gets over his barriers little by little. It is a real pleasure to read this manhwa.
I can't wait for Season 2 and follow the adventure of this power couple <3
In short, I recommend it. 5* for me!

ใครเบื่อ ๆ แนวทะลุมิติเข้านิยายไปเป็นนางร้ายแย่งผัวนางเอกเก่า เข้าเกม ย้อนเวลา หรืออยากอ่านอะไรที่อบอุ่นหัวใจ ไร้ดราม่า แถมเขินจิกหมอนให้กับผู้ชายนิ่ง ๆ สไตล์หนุ่มเยอรมันพูดน้อย แต่พูดทีก็เขินจนต้องเบือนหน้าหนี แหม ชินอิจินี่ละก็~ โปรดพิจารณาเรื่องนี้ไว้ในอ้อมอกอ้อมใจ เหมือนเรื่องนี้จะจบแล้วที่ 155 ตอน แต่ของไทยตอนนี้กำลังกระดึ๊บ ๆ แตะ 100 ตอนอยู่ ตอนนี้เราอ่านถึงตอนที่ 94 เลยแวะมารีวิวให้ก่อน เพราะยังไงก็ต้อง 5 ดาวอยู่ละ!!! สมมงที่สุด!
ตั้งแต่ครั้งแรกที่เห็นมันฮวาเรื่องนี้เข้าไทย ลายเส้นเขาโดดเด่นมาก ยิ่งได้เห็นว่าคนเขียนกับคนวาดคือคนเดียวกัน เรารู้เลยว่าเรื่องนี้มีของแน่ ๆ เพราะนี่คือเรื่องที่ตั้งใจนำเสนอชีวิตของสองครอบครัวออกมาอย่างกลมกล่อม นุ่มละมุน เต็มไปด้วยความเห็นอกเห็นใจ และความรักกับความหวังดีอันมากล้นในตัวมนุษย์คนหนึ่ง นี่คือเพชรเม็ดงามของมันฮวาแนวโรมานซ์แฟนตาซี! ในเมื่อคนเขียนกับคนวาดคือคนเดียวกัน เขาก็ต้องสร้างเรื่องราวที่ Perfect เหมาะกับเนื้อเรื่องสุด ๆ ออกมาได้อยู่แล้วสิ!

ขอพูดเรื่องแผลเป็นบนหน้าและลำตัวของพระเอกหน่อย เรื่องนี้สมจริงมากชนิดที่ว่านักเขียนทำให้เรารู้สึกได้จริง ๆ ว่านี่คือหนึ่งในความทุกข์ทรมานแสนสาหัสของเขา แผลจากการถูกราดน้ำกรดเลยนะ มันแสบ มันร้อน ผิวมันติดกัน แล้วโดนตั้งแต่ยังเด็กเลย กว่าพระเอกจะขยับมือขยับตัวได้ก็ใช้เวลาพอสมควร ช่วงหน้าฝนหน้าหนาวบริเวณนั้นก็จะอ่อนไหวเป็นพิเศษ เจ็บแผลจนลุกไม่ได้ ถึงแม้จะผ่านมาหลายสิบปีแล้วก็ตาม เราทั้งเห็นใจ เข้าใจ และยอมใจในความเข้มแข็งของเขามากจริง ๆ
ดีใจมากที่เขาได้พบเจอกับนางเอก และดีใจที่นางเอกก็ได้พบกับผู้ชายที่แสนดีที่สุดคนนี้เหมือนกัน ดีใจที่ทั้งคู่เป็นคนน่ารักจนทำให้ทุกคนในครอบครัวทั้งพี่น้องเองก็รักใคร่กลมเกลียวกัน ช่วยเหลือกันเสมอ ดีมากจริง ๆ
ไป ๆ มา ๆ สองคู่นี้จะคุยกันถูกคอและถูกพี่น้องของแต่ละคนคอยเป็นแม่สื่อและจับคู่ให้กันค่ะ ซึ่งมันไม่ใช่บรรยากาศที่น่าอึดอัดใจแต่อย่างใด มันน่ารักมากกกกกเลยต่างหาก ความรักของทั้งสองคนถูกถักทออย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป สมเหตุสมผล เนื้อเรื่องทำให้ผู้อ่านได้รู้จักนิสัยใจคอ ปมของตัวละคร และความ LGBTQIA+ ที่ใส่มาในเรื่องนี้ไม่ได้รู้สึกว่ายัดเยียดเลยแม้แต่น้อย ใส่มาอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติและเป็นเรื่องปกติสุด ๆ ไม่มีใครตั้งคำถาม ไม่มีใครรังเกียจ ก็คนสองคนรักกันนี่นา
และผู้หญิงอย่างเรอาก็เป็นนางเอกที่สุดยอดมากจริง ๆ นักเขียนทำให้เราชื่อว่านี่แหละคือผู้หญิงที่แกร่งและดูแลตระกูลได้ แต่ก็ไม่ดูถูกหรือเกลียดชังผู้หญิงด้วยกันเลยแม้แต่นิดเดียว ขนาดพระเอกอย่างร็อกซานต์ที่ดูน่ากลัวก็ยังเป็นผู้ชายที่ทัศนคติดีมาก ๆๆๆ จนเราตกใจ เขา...ไม่มีจุดไหนบ้งเลย! เข้าใจและเคารพในการตัดสินใจและตำแหน่งของพระเอก ถึงจะขอแต่งงานเพราะอยากให้เรอาปกป้องตระกูลของตัวเองไว้ แต่เขาก็ไม่คิดจะก้าวก่ายหรือเอาตัวเองขึ้นมาเป็นใหญ่เหนือเธอ เขาเคารพเธอ รู้ว่าเธอมีดี และยินดีสนับสนุนอยู่ข้าง ๆ ด้วยความแสนดีและเต็มใจ เป็นอะไรที่สุดยอดมาก ๆ จนอ่านแล้วเรายังน้ำตาคลอ555555
แถมพระเอกฉลาดมากด้วย ไม่สิ เรียกได้ว่าเป็นคนที่มีระบบความคิดเป็นคนปกติมากกว่า555 การแก้ปัญหาของเขาอยู่ในจุดที่เราประทับใจ คือถ้าอ่านมันฮวาโรมานซ์แฟนตาซีเยอะ ๆ (หรือแค่อ่านนิยายหลายเล่มก็ได้) จะรู้เลยว่าบางการตัดสินใจของบางตัวละครมรบางเรื่องมันค้านสายตากับตำแหน่ง และความเก่งกาจที่นักเขียนปูให้มาก ๆ เนิร์ฟตัวร้ายบ้างล่ะ ตัวเอกแมรี่ซูไปบ้างล่ะ แต่เรื่องนี้เหตุผลของทุกคนจับต้องได้ ทุกความเก่งกาจมีที่มา และทำให้เราเชื่อได้จริง ๆ ว่านี่แหละคนเก่ง คนระดับนี้ก็ต้องคิดแบบนี้แหละ ทุกคนเป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่ผ่านร้อนผ่านหนาวมามาก ได้รับประสบการณ์และบทเรียนมากมายจนหล่อหลอมให้เป็นตัวเขาที่ดีที่สุดได้ในวันนี้

Me encanta! Es un romance más adulto entre Leah, que se hace cargo del título familiar mientras aparece su hermano pequeño y Roxant, soldado, con la cara deformada y fama de ser un monstruo en batalla. Tanto los protagonistas, como el resto de personajes: familiares y sirvientes, están super bien detallados, cada uno con sus cosas. Me encanta como los protagonistas se van conociendo, como el hermano de Roxant (les da un empujoncito), las historias paralelas, como la hermana de Leah. También me encanta el dibujo y me troncho cuando están tan felices que los demás personajes les dijes que apaguen la luz, o cuando "dan miedo" y les salen rayos por los ojos. El ama de llaves es un puntazo cuando se pone nerviosa...
Es que empiezo y no paro, me gusta todo de este webtoon. Ojalá me lo sacaran en papel, porque me lo compro otra vez. Me lo paso pipa.

While the artwork is rough this colorized manga takes a more adult approach to relationships which is great for a shoujo. The sexual identity and attractions of multiple characters are not standard but also not made into jokes or a token entries. Everyone has some problems to work through. Our leads do set up a contract relationship for political reasons. However, they talk about what that will mean practically and try to adapt to the wants of the other person. It even gets rid of the political need so the relationship can stand on its own by the marriage. While it does exaggerate some aspects, I appreciate that it doesn't make light of war, violence, and death. It's different for the genre and can recommend giving it go.

Leah, our MC, is amazing. She's freaking 6ft tall! She was a cool ass soldier and now after many years she's back home and wants to learn how to be a proper lady. (This takes place in the past where such things exist.) And now she has to get married in order to keep her family title because an unmarried women can't be the head of the family. 😡
Anyway, you should read this. There is also a cinnamon roll. 🥺 I lub him.

This is a great story. While i am not completely a fan of the drawing style at times, its got better over time for me (maybe i adapted, but i do think it improved!).
The story itself is great, i seems a bit light inbetween and on certain topics but the focus is there and whats in focus is developed well. What i appriciate the most is: this is NO DRAMA. Its matue and thoughtful and cuts the chase while still not rushing into anything.
So if you want something comfortable, this is a good pick!

OH. MY. GOD. this was such a phenomenal ride istg
i'll have to say that i was pretty hesitant at first because i'm SUPERRR picky with artstyles, and this wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but because of the amazing reviews i heard, i decided to stick to it for a while longer, and lo and behold, what a great decision it was.
this is a story about healing and i'm so so so in love with this bro-
also have to add that the art really isn't too bad, i grew to love it along with the characters about 10 chapters in if i remembered correctly

I love this manhwa; however, I decided to drop it. The manhwa's storyline is really good. I like how they show the relationship between the two powerful leads and include the other sibling's relationship as well. It is also nice to see representation of the LGBT community in this manhwa, even though it was set in the historic period. It's amazing to see the main characters as they have very different personalities, but they are so chaotic together.

This is the sweetest manhwa I have read.
Talk to Mel lead and female lead are extremely physically, strong characters. I love how they both slowly open up with one another. Absolutely love the side characters as well. This whole story was very well written and I absolutely love it.
