Rayne lives in the Arizona desert, free to leave her house whenever she wants, she chooses not to risk death by sweltering sun demons. Instead, she stays safely indoors with a computer and all the words she knows, slapping them together in any which way she chooses in the moment.
Often gory, sometimes erotic. She loves the limitless boundaries of writing, and tends to push them toward extreme.

Ever wonder what it would be like to get revenge on that crappy ex that treated you like trash? Well, Killsteme divulges into that fantasy on an extreme horror level. It is lovely to see women finally getting their turn at the kill switch. All I need now is these ladies phone numbers because I have a few names to add to their list.

This story reminded me of a parrot joke.
This guy got a new parrot who kept cursing and saying rude things to everybody. The guy begged, pleaded, screamed and threatened, but nothing helped. One day, from pure frustration, the guy shoved the parrot into the fridge and left him there for a few minutes. When he opened the door, the parrot walked out calmly and said: “I apologize for my earlier behaviour and ask your forgiveness for the way I have been acting. From now on, I will make an effort to be a better pet to you. And, may I ask, what did the chicken do that’s in there?”
Psychology can be so effective. However, this story went the other way...

Rayne, I know you are going to read this, and I want to ask you to show this to your husband, because I have some unsolicited advice for him.

Mr. Havok, sir, I do not know if you read your wife’s stories, so you should know this by now, but I still feel the need to say it, if only to make me feel like I did what I could. While your wife is the salt of the earth and I am about 99% certain she is the parent who brings the freshly baked scones to the PTA meetings, just make sure that the next time you get home, and she greets you by your first name (as opposed to your pet name), to get in your car, drive to the nearest motel and phone her from there to find out what you did. Her imagination is admirable, in the way that a good brain-splatter analyst might be, but just don’t fuck with them. Or else...

I love me some revenge stories, but this one left me with a lump in my throat like a reverse haemorrhoid.
5 stars for doing the absolute worst thing I have ever read to a man’s junk. ​

A man hooked on snuff films receives an offer that he eagerly accepts. Little does he know what he is signing up for. An interesting look at the women who are also involved in the snuff trade. Fast moving, vicious and very, very graphic.

Oh Bloody Wow!!! 80 pages of sheer delightful splatterpunk with graphically described scenes of an extremely gory and vile nature!! Be warned!!
There was one part in this book (lets say they really "Socked It" to him!!🧦) that had me gagging and totally wide eyed shocked(doesn't happen often) I ended up having to read it several times over just to make sure that I was correctly reading the procedure being served on Wesley by 3 sadistic women. That's my excuse anyway!! 🤣 What a torture!! BIG BIG QUCH 😲😨😱
Rayne Havok you never disappoint me when I read your work...you have a mind that is well and truly in a sewer...but I love it ❤️

I love Rayne's work in ways that I can't even explain and Killstreme is no different. This is literally the definition of be careful what you wish for. There are some people that see things and become so enamored by them that maybe being part of those things is a dream come true, but is it really? This short packs such a punch and I could not stop grinning and cringing!

‘Oh yes, sock it to ‘em, Rayne!!’

Extremely brutal, extremely graphic, extremely funny...extremely good!

A short snuff film story, but certainly original and with a big, big difference.

Life rule - Beware what you wish for, sometimes things may be just be too good to be true.

Plenty of OTT adult material, but highly imaginative, engaging and very enjoyable.

Without doubt, another big hit for Ms Havok - great stuff!

This is such a 5 star book. I laughed, I cried, I cringed. Okay, one of those is a lie. But the sock whatever thing!!! I can't even write about it in my review for fear that GR or AZ would block me for being disturbed LOL.
The snuff world is an interesting one. But to pay 40k for a snuff, ???? well.. All I gotta say is that I think dude was overcharged. But they do say a sucker is born everyday. Oh well, he got what he deserved in the end LOL

Well that was all kinds of fucking brutal and I devoured it all. This book was very brutal very graphic and full of gore. This was a awesome read. This book is definitely not for the squeamish. Rayne Havok is the undisputed champion of the story she brings it every time and never disappoints. Definitely one of my favorite authors.

Well ... I kinda ... um ... jesus. Look. This book is vile. In all the best ways, I can assure you. If you want extreme horror, splatterpunk filth, this is it. Never have I been so repulsed, left feeling weirdly ill, and yet bizarrely aroused all at the same time.

My, my, my, how the tables have turned Mr. Wesley! This is now the second book I have read by Ms. Rayne and even though I am speechless, what I can say is she is brilliant and this book was quite the bedtime story for me. All I can say is that this book was highly entertaining for me!

Rayne, my near future goal is to read everything you have published! Hell fuck yeah!!!

A male snuff addict gets the chance to appear in his own film and carry out his unmentionable fantasies on a female victim. The topic of snuff film is going to make anyone feel uneasy and shortly after a few pages, I was thinking - Do I really want to continue with this? It wasn't just the actions of the sick bastard of a protagonist, but it's the way the author has dark insights into the male psyche, manages to get into his head and makes him feel all too real. The need for events to be resolved kept me reading on and what happens next is pretty predictable, BUT nothing would ever had prepared me for the "sock" scene. I felt physically ill reading those lines. What twisted mind can think up THAT method of torture as an act of revenge?

This is not an easy read, Rayne Havok's work is extreme, but this isn't shocks for shocks sake, she makes a worthwhile social comment. Everything I have read by her has had a lasting impression, however this one just may have left a few scars.

I’ll keep this review short like the book. It is a very good short story, it is brutal, disturbing and certainly not for the faint hearted - it is not your average horror story. Sure it was a little predictable but it was written really well and I liked the humour in it - really nicely done. Good fun and extreme, if that's your thing. Just sit back and enjoy the show!

Seriously dark.

DUDE!!!...Seriously dude...That was unbelievably graphic and gory and holy shiz that was my kind of brutal..Turn abouts fair play in the world of Snuff making and Wesley picked the wrong time and the wrong people to do business with..This one is my favourite so far.

Wesley has a problem: snuff porn. It's the only thing he can get off to anymore. And when offered the chance of a lifetime to star in his very own snuff film, he absolutely can't refuse. A fun time turns into a terrible ride for Wesley, proving that not every invitation should be RSVP'd to.

If you haven't discovered Rayne Havok yet, you seriously need to. Her stories are the best. They're short, they're gory, and incredibly depraved. I can't get enough of this author! As always, solid 4 🌟

This one really pushed the limits of disturbing for me. And I’m not talking about the brutal, graphic scenes which are artfully crafted, I’m referring to the underlying realization that what is represented here is the vile, depraved aspects of our society that are cleverly flowing just below the surface of everyday, average people. And the ways we can justify anything by convincing ourselves we are working for the greater good. The author did a great job of making me actually have sympathy for the main character, who is in essence, a complete waste of oxygen and deserving of his fate. Another finely crafted story from Rayne Havok.

I loved this... not only for the descriptive writing giving every detail but the whole plot, the twist, and the outcome. Rayne has a talent for writing splatterpunk and I'm glad I discovered her stories.

I'm a slow reader and have hundreds of books on my tbr list, but her books are gonna jump the queue a little. If you like revenge stories with all the gory details, you need to read this. Highly recommended.

I came across this book being recommended in a dark reader's group. Having not heard of it before, I decided to give it a try.

Now ladies - if you've ever been hurt by a man, you should read this book. If you've ever wished for karma to take down that lying, cheating, abusive, misogynistic...you get the point. You should read this book.

Men - if you have any of the attributes I just listed - you should read this book. Just saying.

Now, to actually get into the review. First off, can I just mention the author's pen name??? I love it. *chef's kiss*

It does need a little bit of editing, but I mostly didn't care, as my little black heart was too busy cackling evilly as I read this in one sitting. It's a short book, just 54 pages, but so worth a read if you enjoy dark, bloody, vengeful books.

I loved it. And I'm running off to go check out all of the author's other books.

Well, let break that down into two groups: are we the snuffer, or the snuffee? *¹ Assuming that it’s an invite to do some psycho shit with no repercussions, I bet a lot of people would jump at the chance, even if they won’t admit it.

If you want to read a happily ever after fairy tale full of romance, puppies and google-eyed princes - do not read one of Havok’s books. Take heed. Killstreme was banned on Amazon but you can get this off-the-wall, brutal twist to snuff films on godless.com. It’s fucking awesome, well written, and the best extreme short I’ve read to date. Go get it! Five solid stars.

Rayne is a really twisted person!!!! Lol we could totally be friends!!! This was a nasty, fun little piece that I breezed right through. There are no wasted words, just the hearty meat of the story! Wesley gets everything that is coming to him, and even a little more!! Any fan of extreme horror would enjoy this!

Absolutely brilliant

This book socks one hell of a punch. Havok’s writing style is immersive, breath-taking, and in your face from the very first page to the last. I couldn’t stop reading. I need more. I will definitely be reading more of her work. Highly recommended.
