Great read

I don't normally read futuristic novels; but the author is from my hometown, so why not? I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn't put it down. I taught English, literature, and language arts for thirty years, and average reading five books a week. That being said, I loved the characters and the plot. The characters had distinctive voices, which takes a talented writer. Some things could be improved, but I am sure Len will become a writer with a following. What more can a writer want than fans who can't wait to read his next imaginings?
