Escape into a fantasy world of legends and heroes
ONLY BY UNLOCKING THE ANCIENT SECRET OF ORC FIRE CAN NAYATI SAVE MANKIND
Wrongly accused of treason, Nayati flees from his village to save his life. To survive, he must navigate the deadly Nombu forests while evading Liwanu, the greatest hunter in the duchy, who has sworn to kill Nayati for his crimes.
Far from home, Nayati forges surprising new friendships among the legendary Vander knights. From them he learns that The Painbinder is marching on the human kingdom with one intention – to destroy mankind. The Painbinder’s army of monsters and undead is so large that defeat for the humans looks certain. Something is needed to even the odds.
Lured by rumours of an ancient orc weapon that could provide the only hope of victory, Nayati and his heroic companions travel into the northern wilderness. Deep in the icy mountains Nayati must rediscover the long-lost secret of Orc Fire. Only with its fearsome power can he survive Liwanu, clear his name, and save mankind.

Another action packed fantasy adventure from my brother. If you like highly magical worlds, adventure, orcs and battles you’ll enjoy this one. The novel has some great themes. And, despite being a book (primarily) about warriors, there is good character development and insight. The novel is surprisingly different to the previous Painbinder novel (Dark Priest) but equally compelling and exciting. The general mood is also lighter and the characters are more fun than Dark Priest. As the story stands alone you can jump straight in here... and I recommend you do.

Awesome book ... Epic battles featuring legendary heroes molded out of headstrong youngsters learning the meaning of brotherhood! Plenty of weapon “clang” for those who, just like the orcs, are interested in how cool an implement of mayhem is. Harg!

I'm biased (being the author) but I loved it. It is the best book I've written :)
Warning: For Dark Priest fans - this is NOT a sequel. Its a stand along novel set in the same world.
For NEW fans - you can start here (even though it is theoretically the second book in the series).
This book is FUN!
Legendary heroes. Epic quests. Awesome magic weapons. Barbarians, knights, orcs and undead. I hope you love it.
