Transform the way you approach each minute of your life! In this 30-day guide, Pastor Tim Timberlake shares the moving story of how he learned to celebrate the importance and blessing of each of the 1,440 minutes we are given every day. The son of a preacher, eighteen-year-old Tim Timberlake learned to appreciate the extraordinary value and gift of each minute of every day the hard way through the tragic and sudden loss of his father. Tim began a journey to not just get through each day, but to exhaust every opportunity of potential of that day, moment by moment, fulfilling his God-given purpose. Now a pastor himself, Tim inspires others to approach each day in a way that they live out their own God-given purposes and passions. Comprised of thirty bite-size chapters designed to be read over 30 days, The Power of 1440 is a day-by-day manual of encouragement, including strategies to: Every day should be magnificent, not mundane; filled with delight, not drudgery; and a grand adventure, not a grind. In The Power of 1440, Pastor Tim shows how it is possible to make today—and every day—truly remarkable.
Tim Timberlake is the lead pastor of Celebration Church in Jacksonville, Florida and Creedmoor, North Carolina. He is a gifted communicator and teacher who has the ability to communicate to people from all walks of life. His sense of humor, combined with his in-depth Bible teaching, gives the listener and reader the tools to transform their lives from the inside out. Tim is graduate of the Pistis School of Ministry in Detroit, Michigan. He is an avid sports fan and a cultural thought leader.
I began to read Tim Timberlake's THE POWER OF 1440 with some fear and trepidation. I was afraid it was going to be yet another book that told me to cram more activity into each day and that I needed to make it happen. How mistaken I was!
Tim does speak to the reader about time. But instead of placing more burdens on the reader, he invites us to learn and remember what God says about our time and our days in the Bible. Each day, we have 1440 minutes that have been given to us. THE POWER OF 1440 shows us how to live joyously in that time, learning to see God's gifts and opportunities, learning to leave behind wrong thinking and the lies of the past to live in grace and peace and truth.
Some of my favorite parts of the book spoke into: releasing my control, powered by fear and self-doubt, to the God who loves me and desires to guide me; learning, as Paul said, to be content in all circumstances; knowing I can be fruitful (Gal. 5:22-23) each day instead of weighed down by fear, guilt, shame; and more. I took lots of notes with bullet points that I plan to put up on my bulletin board, week by week, to learn and grow more.
THE POWER OF 1440 contains 30 wonderful chapters, designed to be read over 30 days. It is rich, beautiful, encouraging, and life-giving. I have loved it myself and happily recommend it to you.

I don’t often read non fiction but I like to read a genre that is not my normal read. I’ve found some good books that way.
I thought this book was good. Its all about taking the 24 hours in a day and making the most of it. I liked that this book has practical and easy to apply tips for doing just that. It doesn’t feel preachy. I liked that. He covers topics like fear, blessing others and hardship. All these things that each person deals with at some point in their life. Tim Timberlake does a good job pointing to what the Lord says in scripture about each topic.I think this a good book to read slowly. Read a chapter, think about and then move on to the next chapter. I think the reader can learn valuable truths and how to make the to most of the 1440 minutes in a day.
I listened to some of this book as an audiobook. Tim Timberlake narrates his own book. It’s always neat when the author narrates their own book. He was easy to listen to.
I recommend this book to my family and friends.

BUSY lives seem to be how many families and individuals seem to fill their days. Life slowed down over the past year, but many are speeding up again. I see it in my own life and family, we are so focused on being busy that we don't make the most of our days and time.
Tim Timberlake was only 18 when he lost his Dad. He realized immediately how each day is a gift and he felt he needed to cherish each minute of every day and value the time. The Power of 1440 is a book has 30 Days of short Chapters and stories that show the reader how to look forward and overcome the past mistakes, sins and forgiveness. Read a Chapter a day for 30 days to learn how to take those 1440 of each day and let them be energizing, filled with love, be adventurous, and being all that God has purposed you to be.
WOW, just WOW. Pastor Tim Timberlake really has packed a lot of info and encouragement into a short 30 Day book. I am generally a positive person, although busy. I tend to speed through the day to try to get a lot done. The Power of 1440 has shown me that I can slow down and Cherish the 1440 minutes we are given in a day, and it can be God honoring. I HIGHLY Recommend this book for those who are overwhelmed with Life and need encouragement to slow down and allow God to show you his purpose in a meaningful way! GREAT BOOK
Make the most of every minute that we're given. It’s a concept that mentally we all know, and most try to live by, but it’s easier said than done, especially with the harried lives we all live in this day and age. The Power of 1440 by Tim Timberlake takes you minute by minute, reminding you to make the most out of each 1,440 minutes that we are blessed to have each day. Each minute is a gift, and it's so easy for us to take them for granted.
From the introduction I found myself highlighting like crazy, the points that Tim makes so spot on! I have recently felt like I've been in a rut, life becoming mundane, and I've caught myself going through the motions on multiple occasions. Then I read this:
"The only reason life seems ordinary, or even burdensome, is because we choose to think it is. We believe it to be true so it is."
Wow! It is my choice, our choice, as to what we believe, and what we see. After reading this sentence I started to see God more in the little things. He is everywhere! The mind is such a powerful thing, I often forget that what I think and focus on holds such immense influence on every other aspect of my life.
To say that this book was thought-provoking is an understatement. The practical approach was perfect for me and the real world examples that Tim included really makes the principles taught applicable. The chapters aren't that long, which I loved, and the writing feels heartfelt, genuine, and down-to-earth.
I can see this book being a reference, and a reminder for years to come, and am so thankful that I had the opportunity to read this wonderful resource!

Tim Timberlake has written 30 chapters which could be great to use as a month-long read and then application. These points will help us to actually change our life to be more productive and happy. In this book, a Christian reader will find some Bible stories and examples that can be applied to their life. Some may be basic topics they already knew from Bible study and there will be new things to think about. Making the most of our time is a lesson that we all need to apply.
We all want to be successful and accomplish all that God has in store for us. But, so often, we waste a lot of our time. The theme of this book is to spend each of the 1440 minutes in our day well and have an extraordinary day. This book is a combination of Christian living and self-help book for leadership. The author is a pastor and speaker who is very encouraging with his writing. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. You have 1,440 minutes every day. What are you going to do with them? This is the premise of Tim Timberlake's new book, The Power of 1440. He reminds readers that God has given them 1,440 moments each and every day that they get to choose what to do with. He suggests that many times we look at life as ordinary and mundane, and that we waste precious minutes worrying about things beyond our control. Timberlake encourages readers to take a step back and to choose to trust God with each minute of every day so that they can make the most of their lives.
Although this is not the type of book I usually pick up and read, it is a very encouraging and motivating read. It serves as a great reminder to not waste the precious moments God has given us.

I never write reviews, but I was so disappointed with this book I didn’t finish it.
If you are looking for a gospel-centric book to help you better to live out the time God has given you, I wouldn’t recommend this one. While I appreciate the author’s passion for maximizing our time (which is why I picked it up), this book is heavy on prosperity gospel and feel-good affirmations, and makes some statements that are blatantly unorthodox.
God’s primary goal for us is NOT to be happy, healthy and fruitful. God calls his people to be faithful. To spread the gospel and build his kingdom. Jesus warns us that people may oppose us as we remain faithful. He says through many sufferings we will reach the kingdom. I can’t imagine handing this book to someone going through suffering.
Do God’s people find joy in pursuing him? Absolutely. But joy - happiness - is not the end game. It’s the fruit of faithfulness in the midst of poor health, opposition to our faith and even a lifetime of disappointment. It’s the joy of knowing Jesus. I heard very little in this book that aligns with anything I believe Scripture says.
Despite modern conveniences and technological advances, we seem to cram more and more into every day. We get so busy, we don’t take the time to appreciate our blessings or take advantage of the God-moments in our lives.
In The Power of 1440, Tim Timberlake encourages readers to celebrate every minute of every day. All 1440 of them.
This book was a little convicting as I’m one of those people who bemoans Mondays and counts down the days of the week until the weekend. Timberlake reminded me that Monday through Friday are not to be dismissed so easily.
Each of the short chapters hits on topics like fear, self-doubt, blessing others, and more. This 30-day study will encourage you to count every minute as a blessing.

2.5 stars, it really is a great book and motivated me to really think about where my life is going and how to better conquer my day but it certainly wasn’t life changing to the degree some books have been in my life
I was locked in from the start and motivated to have a day by day mindset pursuing this thing we call life with the Lord. I personally enjoyed the personal stories throughout that helped me as the reader relate to the message or understand how to apply the lesson to my life.
