I'm the 'real' J D Davies, namely the author of over a dozen maritime fiction books including Gentleman Captain, Destiny's Tide and my new title Sailor of Liberty. I want to make it clear that I have absolutely nothing to do with 'Black Caesar', the existence of which I've only just been made aware of - I did not write it, have no idea who the author is, and I am contacting Amazon to request that it be taken down. I will also be contacting Goodreads to request that my profile is not associated with this book.
