True Romance Lovers unite, tissues in hand, sighs of contentment at the ready, we are off to the island of Sardinia where a successful British architect and a strong American woman are set up to fall in love by an old man and a six-year-old pixie. Author Mario Saincic has created a masterpiece of emotion and atmosphere with his words in the style of an artist creating a masterpiece with their brush.
Graeme strives to give his young family beauty and love, moving to the quiet island of Sardinia. When fate stole his young wife from both himself and his young daughter, he created barriers around his heart, and wore a cloak of loneliness and guilt, never putting her memory to rest.

Jessica came to Sardinia to embrace the art of farming and there was something about an ad written by an older man on Sardinia that struck a chord with her. The perfect excuse to get away from a less than perfect life in the States for six months, Jess’ first day is less than stellar and her first meeting with Graeme is less than endearing. If not for his sprite of a daughter and the conniving ways of his father, that may have been the end of their involvement. Was the fear of intimacy and the guilt of letting go of memories going to always be a stumbling block to what was before their very eyes? When another tragedy strikes, Jess finally understands the feelings Graeme has carried for two years, but can she break through to his heart and release it from its bonds?

Seasons by Mario Saincic proves that love can come again, that with each season of life, there is something beautiful to grasp onto for the future and something beautiful to let go of from the past. From the first page, my heart was transported into each scene and moment within these heartfelt pages. This is a tale to be savored while relishing in its stark warmth, beauty and the magic of love.

Seasons is a beautiful love story.
It shows life and real people struggling in it - and that's what makes this book so incredibly amazing. Most people want to escape reality by diving into a story that will give them a happy end when life doesn't seem to want to offer one. BUT Seasons shows and reminds us that there is hope, that magic and your happy ever after are out there!

Mario Saincic did a wonderful job describing a beautiful scenery and making his characters come to life; so much so that you don't want to close the book and leave them. He makes your heart squeeze with real romance (note: when I say romance I mean the lovely heart-warming kind of romance, and not smutty erotica; nowadays a lot of people tend to mix them up)!

Long story short: Great book, great read.
I’ll definitely be reading more from this author.

I received this book for free in return for an honest review from author.

This is a very well written book and a tear jerker. I reared up at least 4 times, especially with scenes with Jessica and her dad as it hits close to home. I'm so glad she went back to Graeme in the end.
I laughed as well too as Mario did a great job portraying of what women do think of men sometimes. This story had a realistic feel to it and I read it in 1 day. I enjoyed the banter and growing love between the 2 characters and his daughter was adorable. I would recommend this book to read as it's a great love story and reminder that life does go on after you lose someone you love. It took me 7 years to realize that after I lost my parents so I thank you Mario for showing it in your book.

Seasons is a heartfelt and touching love story. Mario Saincic's writing takes us to the island of Sardinia, where we watch heartbreak, love, family, friendship, and romance unfold. I fell in love almost instantly with this story and stayed in love till the very end.

The characters are endearing and utterly real, making their hurts and happiness your own.

I have to say, Nastassja, Graeme's daughter, is adorable.

This is a romance to be savored. This story about letting go of the past and facing the future is absolutely beautiful. It is a warm balm to the soul and will touch you on an emotional level.

I received Seasons from Mario Saincic in exchange for an honest review.

After reading the first chapter I knew I was in trouble; I couldn't put the book down and had to read it in one day. Mario Saincic's style of writing is very welcoming and pulls you in with the first sentence - and won't let you go.
A story unfolds that is filled with dreams and fears and that sweet hope that love can be found when we least expect it. Subtle, sweet and strong, it was a journey I loved to embark on.
The characters are loveable and so easy to relate to because they are so real you simply have to laugh with them and feel with them. Especially Nastassja...you want to see an angel in action? Well then, read this!

Loved it!

This is a book about family, love, friendship, pain and forgiveness. This book is about life. It goes on. One life may end while others may continue.
This book is about a man who finds love with a city girl. He starts a family with her, with a beautiful young girl of their own. But one day, an accident changes their whole life, the family of three became two. This story tells us how they coped and is coping through it. It also tells us what the appearance of a woman in their midst heals their heart. They learn to live again.

Maybe i shouldn't say this but i love happy endings and this book had one. It took me a long time to finish this because i kept crying. Word to the wise, don't read it if you're going through a breakup.

When i first read the name of the book it piqued my interest. I was curious. I didn't see the cover until days later. I tend to ignore some things i guess. The first few chapters told me exactly where the name of the book came from. It was a perfect name. :D

This is a great book for people who like soft, sweet books with a beautiful story and advice for some.

Seasons is an incredibly heartwarming story. It's emotionally charged from the very beginning and Mario Saincic will sweep you away to a gorgeous Italian island for an incredibly romantic journey.
It's not often that a 6 year old stars in a novel like this, but our wonderful Nastassja definitely steals the show. Even though I ended up really liking Graeme and Jess, Nastassja is the one I fell in love with. It was sometimes hard to believe that she was in fact only 6, but this adorable girl stole my heart and never failed to put a smile on my face.
I can only imagine how hard it is for Graeme, the struggle between the memory and love for his wife and this new shot at happiness with Jess; and for Jess to find a way to deal with all of that. At times I was frustrated with both of them for almost sabotaging their future together - Graeme consumed by guilt and Jess in doubt as to where she fit in, with Olivia never really out of the picture - but these moments of doubt and hesitation truly made this an incredible and inspiring journey to be a part of and I really enjoyed reading it.

4.5 stars.

I'm a sucker for a sweet romance and Seasons doesn't disappoint.
Jessica and Graeme seem at times to be polar opposites, but you know what they say, opposites attract.
The story is believable, the events that led up to Graeme's feelings on starting another relationship are heartbreaking and made me want to cry for him and Nastassja.
Thankfully Nastassja knows something the adults don't and lends the kind of help only a child can in helping Graeme & Jess come to terms with their feelings for each other.
Just when you think things are settled and will work out without a snag, another obstacle pops up, this one for Jess causing things to change drastically and Jess questions her decisions.
In the end things go the way I hoped they would. This story has love, loss, grieving, overcoming tragedy, learning to live and love again. I can't wait to read more from Mario Saincic after having fallen in love with Seasons.

If you're looking for a love story, then look no further than Seasons by Mario Saincic. I've never been the sort to shy away from romance-- when I was a kid I used to love reading the Harlequin novels my grandma had hidden away in old dusty boxes and I never quite grew out of that. There's nothing that warms me and moves me faster than love, and it doesn't always have to be romantic, but. I mean-- who doesn't enjoy the warm fuzzies that come with a really grand and sweeping love story?

Seasons is just exactly that kind of story. We meet a woman who's tired of her life in Texas and the feeling of being trapped who has finally gotten brave enough to leave for a while to go find herself-- and then a man who had managed to do to the same with his wife, just before his life fell apart. Jess and Graeme butt heads immediately, but you know what they say: there's a fine line between love and hate. These two don't even hate each other, they just don't get along at all, but in that tension burns a passion just waiting to recognize its potential and rise to the surface.

One of the things I really loved about Seasons is that the characters deal with very real issues in their lives. More than once I grew frustrated with a character, but in retrospect, I think that's one of the cool parts of the novel-- I was frustrated like Jess was frustrated, or like Graeme was. Life doesn't always come in a neat little package, no matter how much we want it to. Life is messy when it's just one person, so add someone else to the mix and you're kind of looking for a gnarly entanglement. Mario Saincic doesn't shy away from the hard parts, and I think that's great.

You can tell, too, that as an author, Saincic is a romantic. There's always something that falls flat when a writer doesn't believe in the story he's telling, but Seasons never suffered from anything like that because you can just feel Mario's passion and interest in these characters and their story. Overall, I found Seasons to be a satisfying, frustrating (in the best way), captivating tale of love and its fight to overcome odds. There were a few proofreading issues that I noted, but nothing overwhelming or too terribly distracting. If you're looking for a book that's going to give you all kinds of mushy feelings, well-- look no further.

~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~
This book is amazing! There is so much deep emotion, a rainbow range of feelings, that I am astounded to learn it was written by a man. I never believed a man could write a " good" love story...until now.
There is a quote toward the ending that affects me personally: " Time goes by and seasons change, but that doesn't mean we must stop living because of a fear of the unknown."
Watching Graeme & Jessica struggling with their fears and burdens and growing strong enough to reach out and overcome was an entertaining and moving reading experience. The last chapter was priceless. I was given this book for an honest review. Thank you. Five stars.
