The translation is a little rough but not so bad that you can't understand anyting. It is seemingly translated directly from Chinese, it appears. There is a term that they use when addressing themselves that can be Loosely translated into Daddy, or this daddy. It threw me off for a second and then when I realized what it was actually saying it was fine. It's similar to how Japanese culture refers to males that are older as grandpa or uncle or brother or sister or Aunt even though the person could be someone who isn't related to them at all. I do like the story and I like how the character is an otaku but not all-knowing. It's nice that he learns as he goes and still makes mistakes even with him being so powerful. Definitely enjoying the series and I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
As long as you don’t mind a few spelling and grammar errors then this is a really fun series. Not sure why but whenever they swear there is a random symbol in the middle of the word. Maybe in there to avoid a profanity filter?
I love how horny and crazy the MC is. Blow up dolls? Check. Smack talking the competition? Check. Found myself snickering quite a bit especially in the later books.
Really like how the loot the MC gets can be skills and items from popular games/novels/Wuxia. Liked some of them so much that I went and read the books they came from originally to understand them better.
Not sure how much different this is in comparison to the first edition. Seemed pretty similar to me. Can’t beat the price though!
