She secretly loves her best friend . . . Who just asked for help romancing another man!
Katie Hart has kept a desperate secret for years: she's in love with her best friend, Alexander Russell. A firefighter and bisexual - not to mention gorgeous - Alex is strong, loyal, and his smile can melt her heart. He and Katie had always been there for each other, and she would still do anything for him. But now Alex wants her help romancing John Harrison, a bad-boy jerk who gets under Katie's skin. And what's worse - the guy's completely wrong for Alex.
Alex always had a thing for Katie, but she's made it clear not to cross the line between friendship and… anything else. So when rumors fly that John Harrison is bisexual, Alex thinks it's a great time to make his move on the gruff, motorcycle-riding pilot with all the tattoos. A fling with another man should be nice and simple, full of hot sex and zero drama. Trouble is, John doesn't seem to know Alex is alive. So Alex turns to the one person he knows will always have his back - his best friend Katie - to help him take one last shot at getting John in his bed.
Veteran Blackhawk pilot John Harrison can tell something's up with the guy at the gym - the hot firefighter named Alex with the cute girlfriend. Or friend who's a girl, more likely, because the guy's been falling all over himself trying to get John's attention. John doesn't need the entanglement, but despite his better judgment, he can't help falling for Alex's charm. Too bad Katie thinks John's an arrogant jerk - she's not too bad, herself. But Katie's obviously hiding something, and it isn't long before John learns her secret. She's in love with the clueless Alex. Unfortunately for her, a little healthy competition is something John can't resist. And when it comes to affairs of the heart, John always plays to win…

This was a quick read. I enjoyed the three main characters but would have preferred more background information on their childhoods and how they became the individuals they became as adults.
Omg i was smiling throughout the first 60% of the books, the dialogues were funny, alex and katie's interactions were amusing. But towards the end, it seemed too rush.
