Tilly Delane

Tilly Delane is the pen name for the grown up version of, well, me - an already established author of clean(ish), wholesome(ish) YA literature, who fancied a stint away from the straight and narrow.
It started with Silas and then I became addicted and carried on working, until I had a whole trilogy of awesome, rock hard but human heroes, each of whom has his own freaking brilliant leading lady who takes no shit from anyone.
I love Silas, Rowan and Diego and their kickass women as much as I loved all my previous creations and I wish I could tell you who I really am, but there are innocents to protect here, so for now I am Tilly and proud.
Tilly, incidentally, was the name of a character in a romance short that I published under yet another pen name some years ago.
You can get that one free for your kindle, or as a pdf, if you email me at tillydelaneauthor@gmail.com
Tilly and I (schizophrenia here I come) live in the real Brighton, UK, with two young daughters and a stupidly large collection of big and small animals. They all need feeding (me not so much, I could do with losing a few pounds), so please buy my books, rate, review, recommend them.
Oh, and if by complete chance you've read any of my other books (stranger things have happened) and you think you've figured it out, please just smile knowingly - and don't let the cat out of the bag.
Much obliged.

Best of the trilogy

If you like your characters genuine, rough-edged and coarse-tongued, tough but vulnerable; if you like a really gripping story with high-tension suspense with your lovers; if you like your literary sex on the rough side of tender - get this book, and this series. Tilly Delane can write.

Trigger cautions: Hostage, abuse, torture, attempted rape. (The author condones none of these but the story does involve exposure to situations that happen in real life too.)

Bad boys don't come much badder than Diego - or his father (ugh). Except that Diego has a well-hidden soft centre - for stray cats, vulnerable women, and especially the nineteen-year old Polish student who lives with his de facto mother. Kalina is far too young for him, and not his type. Skinny. Innocent. Vulnerable. Irresistible. Except she's not. Not innocent, that is. This story is almost as high in tension as Rowan's, offers a much deeper and equally authentic look into the criminal underworld of Brighton (and the wider world), moves fast, and is at times painfully brutal. It is also funny, tender, pretty realistic, and, as with the previous two volumes, offers a hell of a lot of story with your sexy romance. If you're a sensitive reader, look out. Fair warning. Actually, with this novel particularly, I'm reminded of Stieg Larsson's work, except that this is grittier and rougher. If you feel you're up to it, I reckon you'll enjoy this original work.

Tilly is a spectacular writer. I can't recommend this trilogy highly enough. Anything other than 'read it if you like bad boy romance' is a spoiler, so read it!

Hell yeah, what a finale to the trilogy! I loved the thriller aspects of this almost more than I loved the smut in this, although the smut was smoking hot. Kalina is by far my favourite of the women in the BBB and probably my favourite romance heroine of all time. I love a kickass pintsize who rules the roost and bosses the boss.
I also loved that we really saw he dynamics between Silas, Rowan and Diego to the full in this one. I'm glad Delane decided to leave the Brighton Bad Boys here, with a finished trilogy, although I'm sad to leave them behind.

After reading Silas and Rowan, I said that I am now addicted to Tilly Delane. Well, Diego absolutely blew me away!

I didn't like George - Diego -the first time we see him here - I mean, I already didn't like him much from the other two books, but what he does on the starting blocks, put the last nail in his coffin as far as I was concerned. I didn't want to like him. I was determined to resist liking anything about him. Fat lot of good that did me! I want to know how Tilly Delane took me from being outraged at the arrogant, tosser to falling head over heels for him. And Kalina - she's just awesome! What a terrific book: action, mystery, thrills, a trip into the dark side, and steamy romance - you name it - this book's got it. Another pager turner. I'm sad to see the last of the Brighton Bad Boys books but eager to see what's next from this terrific author.

I’m not usually a fan of bad boys, but these bad boys are 🔥🔥🔥, and they have hearts full of love for their ladies. Each book of this trilogy focuses on a different character, Silas, Rowan or Diego. Each time I thought I wouldn’t like this guy as much as the others, but each time I was wrong! I love all three of them, but Rowan holds a special place for me. All of the books are a very spicy heat level, and I loved getting to know the personalities under the rough outer shells, they have depth and reason, this isn’t just heat for the sake of heat.

Finished Rowan and went straight into Diego. This is a longer story than the other two and adds two more points of view. A good crime novel mixed with steamy romance.
