Not long ago, my mom got into coloring books. She loves the patterns, and the peacefulness of bringing them to life with color. One day when she was low on designs to color, I drew her a few myself. They were not like the others. But she colored them in anyhow, and they became much more beautiful that way. My first designs were soon joined by more. Then it was as if they had called their friends, and suddenly there were a lot more — curious creatures, succulent vegetables, long-legged waterbirds. Some with extravagant footwear. So for those who (like us) enjoy coloring books, but see the world a bit differently, I thought I’d make some of these designs available as lemonsipper coloring books. The designs are printed (mostly) on one side of each page, for a more satisfying experience if you are coloring with markers. This book — "The Good Boot" — is the first in the series. It includes 26 full-sized designs to color, with a few small surprises along the way. Take a look inside to see some of the designs for yourself. I hope you enjoy! — David Schulman
