Take the title seriously when it says "beginner"; there's nothing new here. If you have delved into the occult or cultivated a spiritual practice, you pretty much know everything in this book.

Not as informative as I would have liked, as Evans spends a great deal more time on tools for entering the akashic space rather than actually interpreting the information once there. How do you truly know if what you’re experiencing is actuality vs. your imagination?

I am floored by the amount of information jam packed into this book. Diving in, I was anticipating an encyclopedia/wikipedia feel to it where the author just showcases facts about the Akashic Records that could be easily found via Google or any other general textbook.

Beside the general information on what is Akashic Records (obviously), there was a lot of useful things discussed—basic steps in reading, DCP (discover, cleanse, protect) energy, brief but informative segment on chakras, how to clear energy by cooperating grounding alongside other exercises into daily routine, clairs, how to strengthen third eye, and more.

‘The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records’ is a great reference book that I know I will reference time and time again.

I've been delving deeper into my spiritual gifts over the last several months. I've always been highly intuitive, but now I'm feeling the pull to take things on a much deeper level. I kept hearing tidbits of the Akashic Records and soon signs were everywhere for me to explore this even further and how to access my own records. I'm experiencing and learning so much more about myself than ever before. And, it just goes to show that our spiritual journey really is a lifelong journey. We are ever growing and evolving spiritual, magical beings.

It’s not really about how specifically to open the Akashic Records, but it tells you about how to prepare (chakras, smudging, self-care, etc). It's fine for you who are just starting your spiritual journey! A lot of information here. But if someone wants to know more about ”how to” and experience it The Akashic Records I Recommend u read a book by Edgar Cayce, & Linda Howe. Or watching Video On Youtube or Gaia App... Hope this review helped you❤️

It's called a beginner's guide for a reason. If you've already started your journey as a spiritualist or witch, you've basically covered most of the basic things especially grounding. But, if you're new, and not sure what to do, I can say that this book is perfect for you.

I have never felt spiritually connected with my inner self, but I am starting to discover more about it. This book is a great introduction to the more spiritual side of my body, my mind and my subconscious. There's a lot to unpack, and the author did it in a very nuanced and simple way for a beginner like me to understand. After reading this book, I have developed a curiosity (or perhaps, felt drawn to) the concept of mediation, using crystals as a way to channel your energy, and mindfulness in general.

A book for spiritual beginners containing 101 techniques like space cleansing, meditation, focused breathing, visualization, etc. A general overview of the akashic records. The book is more focused on preparing your self and your space for a guided akashic records meditation. No actual meditation scripts in the book. A good introduction for those new to spirituality, nothing new for more seasoned seekers.

It is what it says it is you can’t really fault it for that. It’s a beginners guide to some spiritual practices and how to connect with yourself. I truly feel it could’ve been more detailed and could’ve summarized a few things to provide a more compact book.

It does have a good section for self-esteem, how to calm down, and how to handle life. I would say this feels more like a meditation book rather than a “understanding your soul’s history and how to read it“ kinda book.

Yep, this is definitely a beginner's guide and can be repetitive but I would recommend it to those preparing to enter the fourth dimension for the first time. Those who have at least a base knowledge of the Records and how to create a sacred space may be better suited to book that delves deeper into how the fourth dimension and Records work.

Excellent read

This book was an awesome way to get introduced to Records. It was an easy to follow along read and I felt so much more knowledgeable and comfortable after finishing it; I almost felt like I was sitting and talking with a friend. Highly recommended!

Good book but has page errors.

This was a good book if you need to learn how to meditate to reach the records, but towards the end, page 195 (or somewhere near it) lasted like 10 pages, so the numbers are a bit off. Good info though!

I am very interested in the topic of Akashic records, but I feel like this book is not serving the right audience. Someone who is far along enough in their spiritual journey to be interested in these records would most likely know much of what this book teaches - common breathing, meditation, environment cleansing techniques - and therefore it doesn’t dig deep enough for those wanting to know more about the records and how to access and use their teachings. Kind of an odd disconnect.

Instead of being so much about akashic records, this book was more about strengthening spiritually and keeping our energies in balance. Everything from meditation, smudging, crystals, chakras, mantras and more. Really informative and a must re-read for me :)

The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records is an awesome primer and wonderfully useful book on the exploration of your own Akashic record. Whitney Jefferson Evans gives us in-depth and easy-to-follow steps to acquiring and any housekeeping efforts in maintaining your records.

When you get deep into some spiritual work, you may start hearing things like shadow working which basically means working with your metaphorical "demons". Clearing all the crud to create a new, better, more actualized person than you were before. Some of the aspects of that go further than just what is written in this lifetime. Sometimes you need to step back further into your soul's journey and look at shadow work along with your past lives' to the overall journey. Or sometimes you just want to know why you've always had a strange magnetic want to know things about pottery, or Ancient Rome, or who you've never had a bad experience with snakes but they make you nearly have a panic attack just thinking about them. The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records helps you start to understand and work with your soul's storyline.

As I mentioned, the book provides a lot of experiential advice, and workings (meditations and such) to find your own Akashic records. Also, the author provides the basic steps in reading, the DCP (discover, cleanse, protect) energy, information on chakras and cleansing, as well as grounding and other daily clearing and cleansing exercises to be more aware.

The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records is a great resource for those looking into their soul's journey and possibly looking into doing some shadow work.
