This anthology was hatched because dark romances and their creators have a stigma associated with them. Yes, we like coloring outside of the lines, and no, we don’t write your run-of-the-mill stories, but that shouldn’t devalue our art. Nor should it be grounds for it to be censored.

The Kiss Me in the Dark Anthology was exactly what I expect from anthologies - teases from authors I know and love and an intro to authors I haven't really met yet. I LOVED it!
1. Bad Saint by Monica James - I've never read from this author, but from this sample, I can see why she's a huge hit with readers. It's about a young woman who was on her honeymoon when she is suddenly and brutally abducted. She both hates and is drawn to her temporary captor, Saint. Obviously these two are going to fall in love with each other at some point. I have no idea how the author will make that happen... yet. My only issue was that the heroine was really, really annoying. However, the story sounds dark enough for this issue not to matter too much. The tease the author gave for her spin-off, The Devil's Crown, sounds amazing! I'm not liking that the anti-hero seems to be in love with the heroine of the last series, but his intense desire for a nun sounds like something I want to learn more about.
2. Unconventional by Aleatha Romig - I haven't read much from this author, but what I have read, I enjoyed. This is a stalker romance and from the little bit I got, I think I've figured out the twist. Doesn't mean I won't still read it because I will be one-clicking this story asap. I love stalker romances! I'm not a fan of the heroine in this one either, but it's a novella so it shouldn't be a big deal.
3. In Fury Lies Mischief by Amo Jones - I love Amo. She's that chick that I could so see myself being down with. I've been reading her books from the beginning and she's only grown stronger and more confident with her writing. Girl impresses me regular! However, this tease of a story made me feel like I was dumped in the middle of a saga. There were so many names of characters and nuances I felt like I was supposed to understand (but didn't) and notes to events that had happened that made no sense to me (because I haven't read the previous book?). I couldn't connect, with this or the bonus chapter, so I'm guessing I'll have to go back and read In Peace Lies Havoc.
4. Deviant by Callie Hart - The Blood & Roses series is still one of my most favorite dark reads ever! Why? Zeth Mayfair! He was one of the first anti-heroes I'd ever met and he's freaking delicious. So yeah, getting that bonus chapter where he crosses paths with Pasha from the Roma Duet was awesome! Now all I want to do is re-read this series!!
5. Luca Vitiello by Cora Reilly - I absolutely love mafia romance when it's done well. And from what I can tell with Luca's story, it's done well. His childhood (or whatever you want to call his younger years) was an absolute horror show of blood, pain and death. The amount of times he and his brother, Matteo, had to fend off assassins was ridiculous. This is an arranged marriage trope and it sounds HOT! I'm definitely going to be looking into this book and this still pretty new-to-me author further.
6. Enthralled by Giana Darling - Cosima is a girl who is literally on the cusp of womanhood. She's beautiful and alluring and has made a little name for herself in the modelling world of Italy. She and her family are living in poverty, constantly at the whims of the mafia. Her father is a gambler and a drunk, not helping the family lift themselves up at all. When her father's debts become too much, Cosima is sold to pay them off. And while she's not happy about it, she sees her sacrifice as a way to finally help her family escape from under the mafia's thumb. She's a spitfire for sure and when she meets the man who bought her, a man who isn't exactly a stranger, it was like fireworks! I'm definitely intrigued and Enthralled by this introduction.
7. This is War, Baby by K. Webster - The entire series is horrificly twisted and delicious! This introduction to Gabe is a great glimpse for readers who haven't read him before. It also leaves those who truly appreciate the dark to continue through the series because it only gets darker. Webster is an incredibly talented creator of taboo reads that I can't get enough of.
8. Vicious Prince by Lili St. Germain - It's all about a blood feud. I think? I've actually already this book too and I'm anxiously waiting for the next one. So Avery Capulet loves one man is destined to marry another. She's arrogant and entitled and nothing shakes her until she believes she has been abducted by the XO serial killer. Rome Montague is struggling. His family used to be as affluent as Avery's and now he lives in a decrepit house next door, watching what he should have. And then he becomes a victim along with Avery. It's a really twisted page turner. And that quick glimpse into book two? Yeah, I really can't wait!
9. Devious Lies by Parker S. Huntington - I didn't get a dark vibe from this preview. It was more of a look at some teenage angst and an overall contempt for the elite. Nash was the helps eldest son and Emery was their employer's daughter and Nash's brother's best friend. I'm sure this story gets more complicated the further it goes, but all I got was a lot of flowery words and not much else besides a sense of ennui. However, the bonus the author gave of an email between Nash and Emery sometime in their future... LOVED IT!! So if the book captures their connection like this message does, then I'm in.
10. Deception and Chaos by S.M. Soto - after reading this incredibly dark preview, I knew I had to read this book. Then I realized that I already have this series on my kindle. WTF?! Well, I guess I've got something to read this week! Honestly, this preview was just a ton of time during which the heroine was getting the ish beaten out of her. Like she was seriously constantly getting beat down. It was really exciting! And then the bonus was a bit from the hero's perspective. I hope I get to see his side of things again.
11. A Kiss to Tell by Willow Winters - I'm not really sure why this one was included, but then again, I've never read this book before. There wasn't anything dark in this unless you count the fact that the heroine lives in a crime-riddled neighborhood and the hero seems to be a criminal. I'm guessing it gets darker the further you read.
Overall, this was an incredibly solid read! I enjoyed getting to read from some new-to-me authors, whose books I will be checking out, and catching up with some old favorites.
When reading meets charity, all proceeds for this go to “NO KID HUNGRY” and “TLC FOR KIDS”. You also get to dip your feet into darkness so if you’re still on the fence about the genre you can get a taste 😉 And if you’re already sold to the dark world you get to meet some old time friends 🖤 or you can make new one 🖤 beware some of them bite 😍
Callie Hart (5) Zeth motherfucking Mayfair is BACK! I love this anti-hero with such ferocity, all of the dangerous ruthlessness that surrounds this man, that even tidbits enthrall me. I would've adored a glimpse into Zeth and Sloane following the ending of Chaos & Ruin, but stepping back into Zeth's intriguing mind is always a delight no matter what.
Cora Reilly (3) Part of me is interested. Part of me is horrified. I realise and understand Cora Reilly's next release will be an age gap, forbidden romance. But there's a concern around the interactions between Sofia and Danilo in this brief introduction. She's eleven. He's ten years her senior. Sofia's thoughts are too mature for her innocence.
Giana Darling (4) I love the pure innocence initially projected when Xander notices Cosima, followed by glimpses into what darkness lies ahead in their nonconforming romance. Giana Darling's poetic writing structure creates an equally beautiful and terrifying moment behind the scenes of how Xander acquires Cosima, her beauty and her servitude.
Lili St. Germain (3) It was kind of difficult to step into this romance. For one, it has been a long time since we've received an update for Violent Kingdom. Second, this was dark as hell and if you haven't read this author's work, or started this series it's harrowing enough to leave a lurch in your stomach.
Parker S. Huntington (5) Even in shorter format, I adored this feisty, delicious glimpse into Nash and Emery. Devious Lies isn't as dark, but the themes and reasons behind Nash's vindictive pursuit for justice are somewhat.
This is a fantastic charity anthology that contains many of my favourite Authors in the Dark Romance genre. If you are a reader that is unsure whether romance that teeters or fully plants itself in the dark category is for you, then this is a good book for you to pick up.
Kiss Me in the Dark, provides 3 chapters from one of each of the Authors Dark Romance stories, giving you enough to wet your appetite and see if their story is something you can get on board with. For those readers that love the Dark Romance genre and may already know and love the chapters featured here then fear not. Each Author in the anthology has included an exclusive short story as new material for the sample they include. For me that meant I got extra scenes or POV's of several of my favourite characters from my favourite Dark Romance novels. That for me is a win win!
Bought this purely for the bonus content from Amo Jones and Callie Hart and man was it worth it. Definitely give it a buy It has so many little snippets and samples from dark romance authors. I guarantee you'll find something you love!
This was a good anthology with short chapters of some of my favorite reads. Dark dangerous men like Creed and Zeth. All the stories in this book were well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.
A fantastic line-up of respected and brilliant dark romance authors- and only 99 cents?! WHAT A STEAL! The bite sized samples will help you discover new authors you want to learn more about and already-obsessed fans get amazing BONUS treats to enrich the books and stories you already love. These authors have chosen some of their most consumed, most delicious works- if you aren't already a ravenous fan, you will be from these samples!
I so appreciate these authors banding together to make a clear statement- romance, and dark romance writers in particular- have often been stigmatized, misrepresented, and disregarded as true artists. They suffer judgement, censorship, the age-old blanket condemnations of their work being "smutty" or "inappropriate" because they are brave enough to explore our baser instincts- to get real about the dark aspects of human nature, our dark curiosities. You can have a steamy, delicious book with naughty words and naughty scenes and it can still be a an amazing piece of art- well written, thoughtful, technically and creatively masterful. Their work shouldn't be considered as anything less than amazing art because the topics aren't for everyone.
Everyone here was great- I really loved getting the bonus chapters from Parker S. Huntington and SM Soto for books I already love- and Callie Hart throwing it back to Deviant was amazing! I'm also so excited for Fragile Longing and The Devil's Crown- what a TREAT to get those chapters early!
This book makes an amazing statement just by its existence, but it is also a delicious buffet of titillating hors d'oeuvres- now I'm gonna go consume all the full length works of every author listed because these authors are amazing! <3
TEMPTINGLY ADDICTIVE TEASES TO SOME FANTASTIC DARK AND DELICIOUS NOVELS BY FAVE AUTHORS
What a sweet little mix of dark and delicious teasers, select chapters, and bonus content of published and soon-to-be released novels by some of our favorite queens of romance. Although I haven't read all of the books, I can definitely recommend UNCONVENTIONAL by Aleatha Romig, THIS IS WAR BY K Webster, ENTHRALLED by Giana Darling, DEVIOUS LIES by Parker S. Huntington, and BAD SAINT by Monica James.
In the case of Unconventional, Ms. Romig offers a prologue with an outsider perspective of the stalker romance. It's a great taste of the book and springboard for whetting your appetite to either read the novel for the first time, or round out your experience with the book with the addition of this prologue. If new to you, the book turns the conventional into the unconventional with a BDSM twist and a sex therapist at the center. UNCONVENTIONAL is the first book in the Indulgence series and is just one of 3 books in the series that takes the reader on a wild, erotic ride in the BDSM-lite world, which I’ve dubbed “bdsm bites” for its novella-sized romances. How far will the most popular news anchor in a city go to reach her professional dreams? Throw in an ambitious news anchor lacking in situational awareness, the distraction of a boring hubby and faltering marriage, and a savvy stalker at the studio who's got her in his sights. When the stalker finally makes his move, it'll be an unconventional weekend she never forgets.
All this temptingly addictive content has the same purpose of inspiring you to read the books. Dig in and indulge.
Bad Saint is the first book in the All the Pretty Things Trilogy by one of my favorite authors, Monica James! When she announced she was writing a dark romance I was so excited. I can’t read them every day but I do crave them. The synopsis explains so much so I will make this fast.
Willow was happy for the first time in a long time. Her career was showing her the world as a model. She was married to the man of her dreams after a whirlwind courtship. She was on the top of the world and on her honeymoon. Then, three masked men entered her fairytale turned nightmare. She was kidnapped on her honeymoon in the middle of nowhere. She didn’t know where they were headed except it was by the sea.
They thought they kidnapped a delicate flower. They know nothing. Willow was anything but delicate. She was not going to be a victim. She was going to fight even if it means she loses her own life. She will not go quietly. She will not obey. She might have been sold but she would not be owned by anyone.
THIS BOOK IS SO FUCKING ADDICTING!!! Beginning to end. I had to know what was going to happen next. The characters are mysterious. Hot and cold. I mean Saint is one of the kidnappers. She should hate him. Want him dead. But there is something different about him. Both, Willow and Saint are intrigued by the other. And after being shipwreck they are all they have left.
Ok. That’s really all I can say except...thank you Monica for releasing the next book in July! So happy it’s not a long wait.
Quotes:
I’m testing his patience, but I won’t roll over and die. I did that once, and I won’t ever do it again. If he wanted a docile little hostage, then he kidnapped the wrong girl.
“You will break, ангел.”
“I should punish you,” he declares, dangerously low. “You being here is punishment enough.” My words may seem big and strong, but I’m trembling.
**BONUS
I read the All the Pretty Things series and LOVED it! After reading the first chapter of The Devil’s Crown I am so ready for this duet! OMG!!!
Let me start by saying I am a member of Monica James’ arc team which is why I’m here right now.
With that being said....
HOW DARE YOU MONICA. ONLY GIVE ME A CHAPTER OF THE DEVILS CROWN KNOOOOOWING I WONT BE GETTING THE REST UNTIL MID JULY.
Sorry. I do still love you. Like a lot. And I loved the chapter I got TEASED with.
Legit though Monica is the QUEEEEN of dark romance. Alo
Seriously y’all this anthology is perfection. So many wonderful authors giving snippets of their best work for just $.99! Now I’m off to buy every single one of them!! And the best part is all proceeds go to two children’s charities!
I either own or have read via Kindle unlimited almost every book in this collection. I purchased this for the bonus content. I wash there had been more though. That being said, it still was nice to be reminded why these authors are some of my favorites. I hope that it brings in new fans so that more authors can Continue to write all the dark words.
This anthology was an excellent way to preview authors you haven't read yet. I saw a few familiar names on the list for this book and when the description mentioned an exclusive scene from This is War by K Webster I 1 clicked it faster than you can say "DAMN!"
Most of the anthologies I’ve read previously have been a collection of short stories submitted by various authors, whereas this one was a collection of excerpts from the books of authors, which I enjoyed because I know there is more to each story, I’m not just left shaking my fist at the sky gods screaming “Is that all there is?!” I am really looking forward to continuing with some of these.
Before I jump into this reviews... in spite of any of the stories I didn't click with, this book is 100% worth the 1.35$ I paid for it. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean you won't... everyone is different and I recommend giving each of these authors a fair shake.
Alrighty... here are the stories, and my opinions, in order.
1 - Bad Saint - 4/5 - This was a heck of a way to open this anthology. I enjoyed this so much that I completely forgot I was reading an anthology. When it ended I was genuinely disappointed. I have this on my list of books to read immediately. It is going to jump the queue because I was so captivated by Saint and Willow. There were some things that were a bit contrary to the typical psychological profile that the author was trying to establish for Willow given her profession. The only thing I will say is that I don’t think the additional excerpt from a book that is clearly later in the series was necessary, as it gave spoilers. I get it, this is a romance and I KNOW these two characters will end up together, but I don’t want the story spoiled and the extra chapter tacked on to the end kinda did that. I skipped most of it. I will still read this series.
2 -Unconventional - Aleatha Romig- ⅘ - I could have sworn I’ve read something by this author before but going back in my history I couldn’t find a title. I think I have Althea on my TBR list. This stalker dark romance seems like it would be incredibly subtle and psychological, the excerpt of the book that is included doesn’t feature much action, but the author is a master of build up and I was securely hooked on Erika and Victor. I am definitely going to read this book and am very interested in the author's other works. This is probably my favourite of all the books in this anthology (that I hadn’t previously read and loved) and like Bad Saint, it has jumped the queue, though I am pretty sure I’m going to read this one first. One thing I found annoying was the cover art. It was very red shoe diaries (I’m being a picky b*tch I know) and it looked like something that was made in ms paint. I guess I'm pointing this out because I’ve seen over and over again that people will legitimately ignore/disregard books with a cover they don’t identify with. If this book hadn’t been a part of an anthology I was really putting some intention into reading, I wouldn’t have picked it off the shelf.
3- In Fury Lies Mischief - ⅕ - I did not enjoy this story. I tried to get through it a few times but I couldn’t. Killian is just such an unlikable character. This is just not a character that I can identify. He reminds me of how someone who has never met a real alpha would write one, with a far too obvious don’t give a fuck attitude and juvenile humour that isn’t appealing on anyone. This guy is a self absorbed smarmy asshole that is constantly pointing out how special he is, and to that I would say “show don’t tell”. I don’t like it when the opening scene of a book is the main male character and all he can do is talk about himself and what a rebel he is. A great example of a book that does this well (without it being a first person listing of all of the Hero’s accomplishments) is He hates me, where we meet Jasper for the first time and the scene and the way he interacts with other characters DEMONSTRATES that he’s a dangerous, intelligent, cold asshole. He doesn’t need to tell us these things about himself, we see how he is through his actions. The author puts us into a situation that Jasper would regularly encounter, setting this up as a common occurrence in his life, and shows us how he behaves. Jasper definitely makes references to his personality, but its subtle and it felt like the author let me come to my own conclusion about Jasper rather than having him tell me “I’m such an asshole”. It made sense to me. Killian was insufferable. I won’t be reading this book, and I probably wouldn’t read anything else by this author, just given the style.
4 - The Blood & Roses Series Box Set - Callie Hart - 3/5 - I read this series in its entirety and I enjoyed it, but it isn’t on my list of books to re-read so I skipped it in here. I liked the stories about Sloane and Sloane’s sister (who gets her own series). I didn’t find the books to be that moving or that memorable, though. I would definitely read additional works by this author, and highly encourage anyone interested to check out the series. Very interesting dynamic between the two main characters.
5 - Luca Vitiello - Cora Reilly - ⅗ - A part of me likes the idea of an older Mafioso getting betrothed to a 15 year old girl who is held for him until she’s “of age” (18). In how this was depicted, I felt there were some contradictory depictions that rubbed me the wrong way. This author is talented for sure but one of my criticisms is that the characters seemed to be a bit one-dimensional. I enjoy darkness and evil in my books, and I don’t have triggers, but context is important to me. Evil for the sake of evil with no motivation just isn’t in any way relatable. I like a villain you can hate and relate to at the same time. I like multidimensional characters. I wasn't put off enough by this to not finish the story, but I don’t have this on my list of books I must read immediately.
6-Enthralled - 1/5 - This is a story that I thought was going to have a lot of promise, especially because it began with a Frida Kahlo quote. She’s 100% one of my favourite artists of all time, but sadly this book doesn’t inspire similar feelings. I thought it was weird that a guy named Sheamus is speaking Italian to his daughter and treating her like she is ESL. I’m kind of over the whole “sold my daughter to the mob” trope. The dialog didn't feel very natural or genuine and I didn't find myself relating to the story. It didn't leave an impression and I wasn’t eager to continue this story.
7- This is War, Baby - K Webster - 5/5 - This is one of my favourite series of all time and I absolutely loved the extra excerpt from Gabe’s perspective. If you like dark erotica and you haven’t read this series you’re missing out on something amazing. I love this series so much that I’m buying the full 7 book series in paperback and it is 100% worth the 250$ this is going to cost me to have these books in my keeping forever. I haven’t reviewed them all, but I 100% will at some point in the very near future.
8 - Vicious Prince - Lili St. Germain - ⅘ - This a mafia romance with obvious Romeo and Juliet feels. This is a very interesting story with a lot of darkness but with the dynamics that I crave. There was justification given for actions that, even with the justification could be perceived as quite harsh. This is also one of the only stories in the anthology here where we have a really strong female character, not someone who is introverted and shy and dealing with mental health issues, as often we find in dark erotica. This isn’t your standard loner girl who gets picked on because she’s the most beautiful girl in the whole town/city/school whatever. This is a strong, confident and intelligent woman who has a strong way of dealing with the patriarchal family into which she is born. I’m very interested in continuing this story.
9 - Devious Lies - Parker S. Huntington - 3/5 This is another one of the stories where the premise of the whole story seems interesting. There were a few things that were strange to me. The writing is really good and I want to continue, however this is another example in this anthology where an author decides to include an excerpt from another book in the series that spoils the first book. I get it, these people are going to end up together. I understand how romance works, I truly do, but if you give me an excerpt where the two main characters from the first book are married, you’re spoiling the story for me. I will still read this book, but the first chunk was enough to peak my interest, the second chunk was unnecessary and kind of irritated me.
10 - Deception and Chaos- S.M. Soto - 3/5 This book was interesting, there were some terrorism elements, some human trafficking elements… not a lot happened in the parts that were included here but the writing was excellent and I am definitely going to continue this story.
11 - A Kiss to Tell - Willow Winters - ⅗ - I have an easier time believing in fairies than I do believing in men who are in high school that are Casanovas that know exactly what they’re doing romantically and sexually. I have enjoyed the occasional high school, or early college (way more believable) romances, but I typically try and avoid books that spend most of the time here or in past vignettes. And honestly, the premise of this book is flipping ridiculous. These two characters kissed one time, five years before the current timeline of the story. ONE TIME. There are guys I’ve really liked and shared one kiss with but I haven’t spent years of my life obsessing about it. It would be different if this girl was boring otherwise (like Bella Swan boring) and had nothing interesting in her life happening to her, but girlfriend loses her mother to a brutal murder, her uncle dies… a bunch of things happen. A single kiss with one guy who barely acknowledges you after that doesn’t spell “pine for me forever” style romance. Seriously. The writing was pretty good and the background story of the heroine is interesting, but I probably won’t read this book.
The prologue was a great little addition to Luca Vitiello. Although it’s bonus content, there’s nothing new within that those who’ve read the book are missing out on. It pretty much sums up what he has gone through to get to where he’s currently at at the present time, the lead up to his “new” life with Aria, and the things he has to constantly go through to keep his position, his power, and his family safe and secure. If you’ve read Bound by Honor and Luca Vitiello, and want just a little bit more, then this prologue is a nice add-on.
Before I start, if you’ve been contemplating whether or not to get Kiss Me In The Dark (specifically for Cora’s content), and wondering what is included from Fragile Longing… The prologue and the first chapter is what you’ll be getting. If you’re not too fussed with getting an early taste of the storyline, then I highly recommend you grab your copy now — plus all proceeds go to donations! 😊
👏 Okay! Time for the goss!
Although Fragile Longing is a standalone, I recommend you to have read Twisted Pride (from the Camorra Chronicles) first because it definitely coincides with the timeline from that book…. and it’ll give new readers a better scope of the relationship between Danilo, Sofia and Serafina.
We’re only given the first chapter but already I am liking Sofia. After how many books, I am still floored at how well Cora can write her characters in a way that really shows their age and the life they’ve lived so far. I love the innocence and naivety of her young heroines before all hell breaks loose and they’re pushed into a world of darkness, adulting, and unrequited love. Hehe.
I initially wasn’t a big fan of romance reads that involve age gaps, but since reading Sweet Temptation, I’ve come to look forward to reading who else of Cora’s characters will be paired up. When I first read that Sofia would become Danilo’s end game, after Serafina was clearly… well not! I was already reeling at the possibility of it becoming another brilliant, yet complex story similar to Sweet Temptation where they really have to work at their relationship, and find a balance–especially with their age gaps.
And just like all of Cora’s previous books, I enjoy the fact that despite that they’re considered dark romances, there’s obvious lightheartedness and even humor sprinkled all throughout.
All I know is Cora’s heroines are relatable in so many ways, and their feelings and attitudes towards things and situations are quite realistic, in particular to when they’re still in their youth and don’t necessarily keep their thoughts to themselves yet.
Great start to Fragile Longing! I can’t wait to read it in its entirety! Sofia is clearly living in her sister’s shadow so I can’t wait to see her when she reaches of age, and what Danilo’s reaction will be of her by then. Eeep! ❤

This was such a sexy, thrilling, dark ride and I was hooked within the first few pages and could not put it down. The book has so much going on, it’s intense and totally captivating. I was an addict to James’ words.
In Fury Lies Mischeif - Amo Jones
This was an amazing read that captured my mind from the very first chapter. The push and pull between Killian and Sass was electric and the anticipation for what was to come crackled from the pages. Midnight Mayhem is a world you don’t want to miss out on!
Eli’s Transition - Amo Jones
Amo sucks us right in with this one, giving us just enough mystery to leave us NEEDING more! Eli is going to be so good, I love MMF and I can’t wait to see where Amo takes us.
“Two people come into my life. Shit, I wasn’t even sure how it happened. I didn’t realize what was happening until I was hit right in the fucking core of a twisted fucking tale of a love lost, saved, and ruined” 🖤
We also got a little bit of Bishop (my number 1), who’s older, wiser, meaner and only left my aching for ‘Ruined Castles’.
Enthralled - Giana Darling
This is one dark read that totally consumed me. Be aware, this is no hearts and flowers romance. This is a story of pure male dominance (BDSM). And I loved every minute of it! The writing was flawless with an intriguing story line and hot hot scenes that will leave you wanting a master of your own 😉!
Bonus Epilogue - loved this, seeing Alexander making his deal to buy Cosima 🖤
Reviewing Blood and Roses chapter one, plus extra bonus.
I adore Zeth Mayfair and so this was a trip down memory lane for me as I have read this series twice and I will never tire of it. This gorgeous man is the pinnacle of BBF for me, so reading that first chapter again makes me what to drool over Zeth again for the whole series. Callie has given us an extra bonus as a treat and it was a joy to read. Here we see Zeth slightly out of his comfort zone and with no less than a woman taking that control, and Zeth is never out of control so I sort of felt for him in a way but loved reading this short extra about him and I wanted more but sadly to get more of this amazing man I'm going to have to read the whole series again - I can't wait !!
If you want to get into dark romance books, but don´t know where begin... this is perfect.
For beginners there are glimpses of the work of these authors, just enough for you to want to know more about their stories. And for those of us on the dark side, there is extra footage from the stories we're already familiar with.
I think it is a good initiative to attract new curious readers about this genre, which may be stigmatized, but once you enter the dark side, you can no longer leave.
Welcome to the dark side, we have wine and alpha males!
Let’s be honest! I was really excited to reading Eli’s Transition, and let me tell you Amo didn’t disappoint. I became even more obsessed with The Elite Kings & Midnight Mayhem!!! 😍😍😍 OMG! I just can wait for more books of those two worlds that have me in love. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And also Cora Reilly with Fragile Longing 🥰. I was looking forward to reading it since I read Twisted Pride. I’m in love with all of her mafia books. ♥️
I only read the prologue and first chapter of Fragile Longing by Cora Reilly and oh my god I don’t think I can wait a whole week to finally get my hands on this book. I really feel sad for Sofia she’s gonna go through a lot, no one have to be the consolation prize, the second best. I do hope Danilo will treat her well and maybe end up loving her in the end.
I love anthologies! I get to meet new to me authors, catch up with authors I love, whilst donating to fantastic causes. This anthology is no different yet it really is!! Deliciously dark, leaving the reader wanting more!! Fantastic!!
Love this anthology. Thanks to this I found great authors and definitely gonna buy their books, a plus was that I could find new content for authors I already know I'm beyond excited for this upcoming books. The best of all is definitely the price.
This anthology was a tease of what you can expect from the authors stories. I am familiar with some authors in this anthology and I absolutely loved there books. I have now found new authors that I can’t wait too read their books.
Unconventional - Aleatha Romig - 4 stars I’ve already read Unconventional, but the prologue was new. I think I would have liked it more had I not already known how the story ends. This is a great introduction to the story, and if I hadn’t already read it, I would definitely want to continue.
This is such an incredible and enticing collection from such an outstanding group of writers. Every glorious snippet from this book only makes you want to dive in deeper to each story.
Não posso falar sobre as minhas expectativas sobre danilosofia já que primeiro capítulo e o epílogo envolveu cenas que eu já li no livro da serafina, o que me resta é esperar pra conhecer os dois em setembro.
