Boundaryland law is simple—whoever trespasses on an alpha’s land becomes his property to do with as he pleases.

No woman willingly travels to the Boundarylands.

That’s why Aric is so surprised to find a stranger asleep in his bed.

She’s not who she says she is…or what she pretends to be. All he knows is that what lies in his bed is his to keep.

Jocelyn never meant to come to the Boundarylands. Why would she? It’s where they are—the alphas.

They keep to themselves in the wilderness, and beta civilization knows to keep its distance. Especially beta women…for fear they may not be a beta after all.

The only way to know your true nature is to feel the touch of an Alpha. Omegas may be rare, but every woman knows their fates are hellish—held captive, broken, mated, knotted, and bred.

But all Jocelyn wants is live a life free from fear…but now she’s afraid that while running from one monster, she’s ended up in the arms of a worse one.

ARIC is the seventh book in The Boundaryland Omegaverse, a hot new ABO romance series featuring knotting, heats, and possession. Wear gloves, cause this sh*t is hot.

I was so excited when I started this one thinking hot af cowboy alpha...oh hells yeah, but there really wasn't much time spent on Aric and Jocelyn relationship. I feel like I don't really know either of them and didn't really get to see them together because the hit man storyline kinda overtook everything else. This one had such potential and it fell flat :(

DNF @35/omegaverse/ H sleeps with OW and no protection

Soo I wanted to like this one. Our h is on the run from her boss who she just realized is a hitman and the construction contract, client names she’s been working for the last few years match up with dead people. I’m a weird moment of chance she is wrangled into a car with some beta hookers who go to the boundary lands every Friday night to help the alphas without omegas relieve some stress. She pretends to be a new girl and hops in the car to escape her hitman boss whose tracking her. Our H sees her with the other hooker sees she’s new and is just what he’s wanting for the night. She tells him to go inside and get a drink for her nervous and then ducks out on him. Inside she meets an omega who give her directions to her place to hide out until she gets there herself to help her sensing she’s in trouble. Of course as fate has is our h drives the wrong direction and ends up on our Hs land and like a true Goldilocks she drinks his homemade brew and falls asleep in his bed.
Our H comes back, sees h is missing and is disappointed but goes inside to pick up a different hooker. On his drive home he’s thinking about how he just banged the hooker and came in her “until she overflowed” and still ain’t satisfied bc she wasn’t the “new girl” (h) that he initially wanted. He gets home to find the little intruder (h) and think ohh even though I just banged an hour ago I’m excited for this…. I just stopped. This bothered me. I know he thought she was a hooker so what’s the diff. For me he knew he wanted her, she wasn’t “his” yet but he wanted just her yet got his d!ck wet right after and then came in her? No no no. I’m all for the no protection between my H and h but you just going around nutting in all the beta hookers? NOPE! Not for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ imma try the next book these are a good little steamy, low drama, mindless kinda read that k like when I’m slumping but this one just isn’t for me.

A quick and easy but satisfying omegaverse book! Jocelyn is on the run and just wants to get away but there's no way Aric is allowing that to happen. Callie Rhodes wrote some very addictive scenes.

EASY QUICKIE OMEGAVERSE READ. FRANKLY IF YOU FOLLOW THIS SERIES CLOSELY, YOU ALREADY KNOW THE PATTERN OF THE BOOKS. THIS WAS NO DIFFERENT. The only advice I can give is to read the books sparingly across the months so you won't be biased and DNF every one for being almost similar.

ARIC I don't remember meeting in the previous books but this is his story. Feeling agitated on Friday night, he's obviously looking forward to a hot night with one of Nicky's girls but somehow none of them appeal to him in any way anymore. He wants someone different. Lucky for him, there's a stowaway who rolls up into the Boundarylands (yes, she's also running away from something) and Aric knows she's the one he wants. When Jo tricks him and hightail away, Darcy offered some help but Jo took the wrong directions and ended up in Aric's home, drinking his moonshine and passing out in his bed. The classic Goldilocks. Little does she know, now that she's under the big bad wolf's roof, he's not going to let her go. Knowing she's an Omega, he'll only want to claim her. The only roadblock in the story is the hitman Jo is running away from.

OVERALL it never hit me how the heroines of this author is always on the run that sends them into the Boundarylands except for one Omega. Well, either way personally I don't really care about that bit but how the characters interact and IF they have chemistry or not is important to me. Here, I guess you can say there was.

This was a little weaker than most of the rest of the series, still a good read, just a bit skeletal in comparison. I did love the internal dialog on this one.... it really took you on the journey of change with the omega and felt authentic. It definitely boarders non-consensual but done in a way that fits this world. Its not neanderthal esque, that is basically just a glorified rape scene where the internal dialogue is a really shit tug and pull of her saying no but everything else saying yes. I really think this was done WELL, I just wish the actual story had a bit more meat.

NOW! I feel like a prophetess! In just the last book I was SCREAMING, you know in my head, for a book just like the one being teased at the end of this one. I am so stupidly giddy.

This story was slightly different. Aric and Jocelyn came together in a typical fashion, however, I liked the little hiccup that the Alpha had as it related to his Omegas heat.

Jocelyn was head strong and on the run and Aric didn't care. He knew she was his omega and that's all he cared about. He was u prepared when Jocelyn's pursuer came calling.

Samson and Zeke back him up when all is on the line. They take out the subject and get back to their relationship.

Heat level wasn🔥🔥🔥1/2 because they were interrupted. Cade sounds like an interesting story, can't wait to read it when it comes out.

Entertaining

Short, sweet to the point. As always with the boundary land series the stories are concise, characters are well developed and overall it makes for an entertaining read. Jocelyn is on the run from a hit man, a series of unfortunate/fortunate events unfold and land her in Arics bed. Aric is a typical alpha just trying to make it through the winter in the boundary lands when he stumbles upon Jo in his bed. Aric being the Alpha senses the Omega in Jo and is determined to keep her. But can he convince her?

OM/OW Trigger Warning Needed

I'm disgusted by this one. There's off screen outside the relationship sex between the alpha and someone else. This is a romance, or is supposed to be, so this doesn't at all belong. I really liked the others so this totally grosses me out especially since it was after Aric and Jocelyn met and they already were attracted to each other. Granted, it was super early, but I don't care. I don't like outside the relationship sex in romance books. Warn us so those of us who hate this will skip the book. If I end up reading one because there's no warning, you're getting a bad rating every time.

Aric, Jocelyn and the hitman

Jocelyn was running from her boss. She thought she worked as a bookkeeper for a contractor but then found out he was a hit man. She stole money and papers ready to turn him in but got in her car and drove. John followed her from a distance and she ended up running out of petrol. She found a open door and three women inside. They assumed she was the new girl and took her with them to Boundaryland it turned out they worked for Nicky. Aric came over to the car when it stopped wanting to be with her. Jocelyn asked for a drink then ran around the bar to hide. Darcy found her and gave her direction to her house and told her to take her car. Jocelyn took a wrong turn and ended up at Aric’s house. When he found her he wasn’t letting her go but at the same time left her to sleep. The story continues with Jocelyn going into her first heat. I’m not spoiling the rest only to say it is not straightforward.

Running from a hitman

Jocelyn is running from a hitman. She runs into Darcy at Evander's Bar. Darcy loans her her car and gives her directions to Darcy and Zeke's home. But of course mistakes happen when you are running scared and she ends up at Aric's house
Aric met Jocelyn at the bar before she left. He thought she was one of Nicky"s girls but she disappears only for him to find her later in his bed asleep.
This story continues in a very interesting way. The courtship between these two is very different from any of the previous books. I love that we get to see a few of the other couples.
The next book looks like it will be just as different and fabulous as this author's other stories.

Too much ick

Basically, H meets the h while he’s looking for a prstitute and is bored of allllll the other ones he’s tried. Wants something new. Meets the h, she smells of fear, H thinks that’s so great and he can’t wait to try her out. She doesn’t want him, smells even more afraid. Even better, he wants her more. Then when she runs away from him, and by some miraculous accident she winds up in his bed, he’s thrilled when he gets home cause of course that means he can do whatever he wants with the h, still reeking of fear. Then, when she’s practically begging H to let her go, he’s at max happiness and proceeds to try out the h, obvi even more thrilled she’s an omega, and equally thrilled she still doesn’t want him despite her body saying otherwise. I’m sorry, huh?

getting a three but more like a 3.5

This had weird pacing for me. The first 50% of this book felt so fast. The last 50% felt like it really dragged on for how short of a timespan we saw in the pages.

I liked Aric similar to I think his name was Troy? He was less overbearing and more quintessentially ‘alpha’ to me instead of just being a brute so I liked reading him but because of the slog in the final section of the book (also yet again the same story girl being chased by killers into the arms of her alpha only to have a run in with danger at the end of the book which leaves the villain in the story dead) I ended up skimming a lot of the ‘action’ at the end.

Not terribly memorable which is a shame because I liked both the main characters

Aric & Jo

As with almost all of the stories in this Omegaverse, Jo comes to the Boundarylands in fear for her life. Unlike any of the previous books, the person trying to kill her tries to kill both Aric and her at about the worst possible time for an Alpha and his new Omega. The one thing I definitely liked about this book was there was no back and forth will she or won’t she be my mate. I know all of these books are HEAs, but sometimes the outright whining of the characters on this point is just plain frustrating. This was a great book that dealt with other issues while the couple found their way together.

From Beta to Omega

Jocelyn is in big trouble and on the run. She found information that she shouldn't have. Now they are out to kill her. She goes off with some ladies to the Boundary lands and spies a man, Aric, who also spies her and wants her. She finds help and she sends her off but she gets lost and ends up at his house. Aric is surprised. Then something happens, her body seems to be transforming into Omega. Well that complicated things. She is losing control. She lets him know what has happened and he is in danger. Aric vows to protect her. Can he? Loved the story.

Fabulous

Jo is in trouble. She is being chased by a human who is her ex boss. She pretends to be a prostitute until she realizes she is in the boundarylands. She meets an omega that tried to help but she gets the directions all wrong and ends up at the wrong house. Trespassing on an alphas property is not allowed. He is not amused. When he touched her as she tries to get away he realizes she is his omega. She is not happy!! Aric doesn't care he tried to sooth her. She finally tells him what she is running from. Will they endure? Will the other alphas help ?

I have really enjoyed all the books in this series. The first couple ones had a bunch of editing issues but that was fixed. The majority of them have started on the same thread. An omega running from a Beta. However, each one has had a different journey when it comes to getting rid of the threat and how the couples interact with each other. That's what makes the book. This one is no different. The action started from the get go and never ended. I loved it. I recommend the book and I can't wait for Cade to be released.

Best series ever!

I have loved every single one of these books! Jocelyn is on the run from a very dangerous man. She ends up sort of pretending to be one of Nicky's girls. She is given some help, but messed up her directions and ends up in Aric's bed. And he isn't letting her go. There is plenty of steam, some action and a great love story. The ending leads to the next book in the series, but you won't have to wait long! Callow Rhodes is a fast writer and never disappoints us!!

All the books are the same theme. Woman comes into Boundaryland. Woman is touched by an alpha, women becomes Omega, they bond. Then the Alpha has to protect her from the danger that follows her.

However, even though it’s repetitive I did enjoy all the books and have pre-ordered the next book. It’s a bit different take on the Alpha/Omega genre. Author created a world we’re there are Beta’s who look down upon the Alphas and make up horror stories to keep Women from venturing onto Boundaryland.

HEA
Standalone (but read the series in order)

Jo is running from a professional hitman. Aric thinks she's a "workin'girl". It all changes when he finds her passed out in his bed and touches her. The heat is coming, in more ways than one. Good thing there's another omega worried about her. They need help because he lost his heightened abilities when her heat got interrupted.
The end is a teaser for the next book, but its just explosive enough, you might want to get this book and the next at the same time.

I like this installment well enough. I think something with this was just ultimately missing for me. I didn’t connect with the characters in the story as much as I wanted to and I just didn’t find this really exciting.

I think the last chapter of the book which really isn’t even about this book’s story (and is more a teaser for the next book) had me more entertained than the entire rest of this one.

Love these Alphas

Once again, a great little ride with a lonely alpha and the omega who inadvertently finds him. As in all the other books in this series, Jo is in danger, running for safety & ending up in the Boundarylands. This Beta finds herself safe in Aric’s arms when she becomes his omega. Seems shorter than previous books, but still an adventure with a satisfying ending. I loved Aric’s solution to ensure Jo’s future safety. A jar of moonshine anyone?

Aric

Definitely a little different. I've read them all up to and including Aric. Callie, that's what I like so much about your writing. Even with the same subject matter, Alphas and Omegas, and the "Boundarylands" , you are more versatile within those stories. The stories aren't the same. I have enjoyed reading all of them. I've had my favorites. But they are all wonderful to read. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thanks. Can't wait for Cade.

Aric – The Boundarylands Book 7 – Callie Rhodes

Jocelyn is on the run from her former boss who she recently discovered is a hitman.

Aric is an Alpha who is feeling agitated and looking for something new and exciting to distract him. When he spots the apparent new girl brought in to the Boundarylands for ‘Friday Night Entertainment’ he feels an instant connection.

Jocelyn is out of her depth and has borrowed a car from a friendly Omega and is taking directions back to the safety of the Omega’s house. She takes a wrong turn along the way and ends up in the wrong house.

When Jocelyn tells her story of running away to Aric, whose house she has accidently entered, he vows he can protect her. They touch and Jocelyn goes into her heat, a four-day sex marathon. During the second day of her heat, Jocelyn’s former boss attacks. Aric must protect his Omega at all costs, thus interrupting the heat. Aric gets assistance from Zeke and Samson and the foe is dealt with accordingly so that Aric and Jocelyn can complete the sex marathon rut that has adversely disrupted Aric’s Alpha instincts.

Usual warnings for hot and steamy sex, this time with a little extra twist thrown in. Four stars.

Aric and Jocelyn

Jocelyn is on the run with the evidence to convict a contract killer.
She runs across Aric, who is definitely interested, and when she ends up in his territory, he’s determined to claim her.

A quick and sexy seventh trip to the Boundarylands omegaverse. There are cameo appearances by previous book’s main characters, and a story that continues where the last book left off. It is, however, still a standalone book, though enjoyed best as part of the series.

Recommended for those who enjoy sexy PNR.

Alpha versus hitman

Aric misjudged a Hoffman's skill and almost lost his omega. Jo was running from a really bad man who wouldn't rest until she was dead. As always the heat factor is high and the alphas are protective. I am glad Aric wanted his omega. The last few books were good but a little hard to get into because the alphas didn't really want their omegas at first.
