WOW!! If you are looking for an unbelievably hot read, this is it. I haven’t read any of the other Black Halo books yet, but believe me that is going to change NOW. I am hooked on this series and can’t wait to start the venture with this rock group. They sure sound like quite the bunch. I have to know what the deal is with Ash and Xane sounds like a wild ride itself.
Back to this particular book though the story of Spook and Alle was even endearing...in a smutty way. No matter how hard Spook tried to push Alle away, she would come back and would keep pushing for more. She doesn’t understand the reluctance that he has and for that fact neither do I. It is because of this that Resistor has me hooked on the Black Halo series. I have so many questions and can’t wait to find out some of the answers to them. It doesn’t hurt that the hotness is turned up to high either. This was a very fast read and had me wanting for more.

It is hot and racy, with sizzling chemistry. With loss, secrets, lies, mistakes, wants, needs, judgement, pain, suffering, lost hope, self-loathing.
The characters are flawed warts and all some you will like, and others could be better.

Getting to know spook story was worth the wait..except Alle can't keep quiet, and wants to rush ,need to slow her roll but I can understand especially dealing with someone who has the tendency of a rubber band the more she pulls he always snap back...

At the very first site of Allegra, Spook couldn't imagine not being around her. Spook made a vow 10 years ago to be celibate. Now that Allegra is in the studio with him and his bandmates he isn't so sure he will last long any longer that she's around.

Something scared him 10 yrs ago into being celibate, now Allegra isn't sure if he will ever be able to come back from that. Will being away from him make it any easier for him? Great story , quirky and great characters, quick read, ending was not what I expected. I would recommend only mature audiences read this story. I give this book 4 stars.

These two short novellas introduce you to the characters really well. Good read that was interesting and enjoyable to the end.

I'm not sure what I was expecting from this one, but it definitely wasn't anything near being a favorite rockstar romance. Maybe my expectations were too high considering I've loved almost every single rockstar romance I've read, but I was just disappointed with this one.
