As a Texan, it would have been nice for the narrator to be Texan or at least southern. The pronunciations were hilarious! I listened to the audible version read by a British male.

As to the content, it was a little flat. I really enjoyed Captivating History’s Texas History but this book seemed to repeat itself quite a lot. I did learn a few new things do it wasn’t a huge loss. Glad I read it but wouldn’t read it again.

Good overview of Texas and the Rangers

It goes into enough of Texas history the Rangers so you'll know enough so if it interesting you may research further.
