I really enjoyed reading this book. I found it to be very informational. What I really liked about it was that they, the author(s), said sobriety cannot be achieved without God in your life. That no matter how much you work the program, no matter how many days of sobriety you have, true sobriety is only achieved with God. Because the issue is really a spiritual issue. And only God can truly deal with all spiritual issues. You must hand over your life to the one who gave you that life. I recommend this book to anyone struggling with sexual addiction, and to anyone who wants to understand what sexual addiction is.

Incredibly informative. I know this was written for SAs, but it is equally educational for those who are not. The only thing missing is end-of-book references for books, etc. for family members, friends, etc.

The most comprehensive, accurate, and in-depth nuanced book on lust-addiction, the very spirituo-psychic core of addictions, and the spiritual-mental-physical recovery needed for the same.

Every re-read, even if only a few pages, is a spark of hope, source of fresh insight, and a silent vanquisher of any seeds of doubt or lust that sprout from time to time.

I think this book sucked. There was pretty much nothing to learn from this book, and you can tell that this book was written so long ago, SA needs to update their books or something, it needs to start changing with the times. This book literally talked about people having a TV addiction.

Read this book to help in my work as a therapist. One of the most spiritual and impactful books I’ve read. The 12 steps are for everyone.

I just reread in preparation for a conference I’m giving in a few weeks - I always find encouragement and insight that makes me want to be a better listener and therapist.
