I truly loved The King of the Wilds. I love forests, and gardens. I could easily have been a Wild Woman. I knew Bron would resonate with me, but unexpectedly I felt a kinship with Miranda, as well.
Right out of high school Miranda is hired by an extremely wealthy man who has ruined many. Never, though, has he had a harsh word or not done well by Miranda. After meeting Bron she is confused by her employer, who aims her at the Mansion; to destroy it and the Nature that lives around it.
Sara befriends Miranda, welcoming her into the world of the wonderful brothers: Bron, Tristan, and Dorian. Tabitha is not so quick and reserves her better nature for later.
As Bron and Miranda's hearts become slowly entwined, the six friends become stronger. Too soon the monsters are caught and evil defeated. All is well, is it not?
Ohhh, you should know better...

Jessica and Cullen
She's experiencing another (and I do mean another) calm day in the Fae world. She has limited memories of her life before she ended up here. When a man, a familiar man, shows up they fight together to take her back to her world. But maybe things she is remembering aren't everything he wants her to believe. She loved him. She remembers that.
Cullen is the King of Pain--or is he? If you look really close you may just see more than the surface.
I was worried for a while as I was looking for his soft side. It seems he has been a successful businessman with little consideration for his employees. But deeper there is another side. Will Jessica and the brothers see him? Will they continue to be enemies or can they come together to fight the real enemy?
There are lots of surprises, visits from our couples in the earlier books n the series. Will there really be a HEA?

Wow, I had jumped the gun with Cullen and was a bit antsy about how this King, so set on revenge, was going to fit in with the rest of his Fae brotherhood. I anxiously waited for the bomb to drop and couldn't wait to discover how Dorian, Tristan, Bron and their queens would all come together to take care of this business. In the end, I think this one is the most emotional in this series, things aren't always how them seem and it's so easy to get caught up the trap of believing (about yourself) the perception of others. Love Jennifer, she is so calm, compassionate. As she comes in her own, she's no weakling because she has the strength to help this powerful King see clearly and when that bomb drops, their love shines bright as they rekindle their bond. Never a dull moment, I couldn't put it down and despite my preconceptions about Cullen, I am thrilled that his story is my new favorite in the series!

Wonderful ending to the Rosethorn Valley Fae series! It's a rollercoaster ride of emotions, actions and sexiness! This is a fast-paced, happy ending which you won't want to put down. I've been waiting to find out more about the King of Pain, Cullen, and what makes him tick. He has been in the mortal realm seeking revenge and searching for his long lost love, Jessica, while his heart has turned cold and feeds on the pain of others. Things begin to change after he finds Jessica held captive in the fae realm where she has forgotten their life together. Can Cullen show her what life was like and help her to remember? Emotions will run high as they both face their past and see what the future holds for them.

Meh
Good world building but insta-love was a bit too insta (I know, I know but at least give it a week) and "steamy" scenes were literally the same in all books (the explanation as to why they can't do it is the same - just say it there and then my guy...jeez, positions are the same, foreplay is the same 🙄). This last book is the icing on the cake. Mans gone from king of pain to not, in the time it takes to say insta-love. The resentment he has towards his brothers doesn't just disappear...I'm sure even Fae folk need time to work out issues. Honestly I couldn't even find the will to re-read in case I missed something as that part left me thinking "what the f*** just happened?". Took a risk buying as was on sale...the risk did not pay off.

I love these magical adult fairytales by Tasha Black! "King of Pain” is the fantastic 4th must read in the awesome ‘Rosethorn Valley Fae’ world 😍 I was hooked from the start by the fresh new plot, well-written characters, witty dialogue and surprises galore that will keep readers engaged & turning pages like crazy! ... Hmmm, will the H/h, Cullen & Jessica, get a second chance at romance? I never write spoilers or copy blurbs, and even tho I always volunteer to read this author’s books, I can honestly recommend this to 18+ adult fans of fiction. And I already have my own Kindle book preordered :D Now I can’t wait for more :D

Cullen is back in the mirror but his love Jessica is no longer there. He finds out where she is a makes a bargain with the Queen of Silence that will release them both or will capture him for a very long time. Jessica has lost all her memories but she trust Cullen instinctually. They are on a quest to capture his brothers and give them to the Queen of Silence for his and Jessica's freedom. They have renewed their bond once her memories come back and with the memories is heartache with the things she did to protect the ones she loves most. This is an amazing story with wonderful characters. Tasha Black has done it again, this is a must read.

Expectations were blown out of the water. By the name of the title, you assume that Cullen is going to have a personality to go with it. What you get is so much more. His love for Jessica transcends time and realms. Jessica has surprises of her own that she has forgotten about thanks to fae magick. Old hurts come into play, but can be turned into something worth saving. Well written although there are questions about what happens next to everybody. I’ve always been curious about people and their lives same goes for characters. I want to know more.

Jessica doesn’t know anything outside of her little cottage and that every day is the same. Tell one owning things are just off tell a strange appears then her memory’s start to come back. Cullen makes a bargain with the Queen of silence to try to bring his brothers back to the realm. But once back in the really world things change. So enjoy another good read and see how things change!!

Cullen, the King of Pain, is a force who gains power from pain. This is a stand alone book but is so much better when read in the series as beloved characters are found throughout the series. A great fight -- brother fighting brothers, a search for a lost love, Rosethorn Valley Fae. A drama, a romance and more. Unexpected turns. Bravo -- I did not see the outcome but it is brilliant.

Yet another amazing book
I loved this series! The brothers, Dorian, Tristan, Bron, and Cullen, along with their queens Sara, Tabitha, Miranda, and Jessica, make an amazing team. I loved getting to know each couple individually as well as a group. I loved how the author seamlessly shifted from the human realm to the Faerie realm and back.

I'm shocked!! Even though he had issues with the way his Bros in arms handled things in the past but a major wake up call needs 2 happen 2 change alot of things from bad 2 good. And with extras surprised from a person that was a hard ass in the past until he can turn his life around b4 it's 2 late

I love a good "bad guy turns good guy" story. Though I would have liked a tad bit more development of Cullen's character, it was still a very enjoyable book and a great ending to a fantastic series.

Great Series
The world today could use more love and magic. This series blended real life with a magical one. And the best of both was a result. Too bad we don't have the best of both now! Now that would be a story!

This is really wonderful! Cullen is so much more than I expected..There's a lot of depth to this story while still being sweet and full of adventure.. I simply loved it!!

Loved it! A great way to end the series! True love conquers all! Cullen made the choice to turn away from evil due to his love for Jessica! And the surprise twist...you won't want to miss this!
