I may have almost died on this planet, but it hasn't broken me yet. At least, I'm working real hard to toughen up and become the kind of woman who'll be ready to board that spaceship and kick some Grivath a**.
But, thanks to the way the overprotective warrior at my side insists on hovering, you'd be forgiven for thinking I'm fragile.
I thought my biggest problem was figuring out how to make Tagiz see me as more than just the dying woman he had to rescue. But that was until we got the news.
Because the aliens who came for us? They're not all dead. And the ones who survived? They want two things: Revenge, and the ship we're planning to use to leave Agron.
Can we prevent them from taking our only ride off this planet? And if we can, will I be able to leave the warrior who saved me from certain death?
Rescued by the Alien Warrior is a full-length romance with no cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA. While this can be read on its own, you'll enjoy it much more after reading the first two books in this series.
If you like hot, dominant aliens, kick-ass heroines, and steamy romance, you'll love Warriors of Agron- Hope Hart's new sci-fi romance series.
Hope Hart has always told stories, and eventually, the characters in her head wouldn't leave her alone until she wrote them down.
She loves strong, kickass heroines and hot, brooding alpha males. Hope believes that everyone deserves a happy ending, although the best happy endings are fought for.
A slight twist in a familiar tale, the Agron ‘verse continues to expand. My only quibble is the story lagged a little, and yet the ending was a little anticlimactic? 🤷🏻♀️ They were cute together, I loved Harry, but the biggest excitement was more about Nevada’s pregnancy then the main couple getting together. I’m still enjoying myself, just curious as to what’s going to happen with Vivian, the next heroine. So if you have read this series, this probably isn’t the one to start with.
Could not put this book down, but it is hella angsty. Most of their problems could have been solved in 5 minutes with a good conversation. Normally I would rage about that, but I'm just enjoying this series too much to care. The cave birth scene with Nevada and Zoey was freaking epic. Such badass women in this series, I love it!
This seemed to be a little shorter than previous books. I can see why some readers thought Tagiz needed to take a hike, but....it wasn't like he was keeping anything secret. Zoey knew what she was getting into. I loved the Nevada "cave baby" scene! Good addition to the series. 3.75 stars
In this one Zoey really seems to find her place. She had a hard start with being so hurt, but she's better now. The other problem she has is that she's in love with someone who has an arrange mating. Her place in his life hits some buttons for her. I was glad when she came to a decision and said something to Tagiz. But the best was when Zoey ripped Tagiz's father a new one about what he thought about the pregnant human females. His words spread and were causing some discord within the women.
I was happy to see how this one ended, loved how the right people ended up with each other.
2.5 stars. Least favorite of the series so far. MC’s connection overall was pretty bland and the conflict surprisingly lackluster. Maybe Hart is getting a bit bored with the series because the story was rushed and didn’t have the delicious slow burn build up I’ve come to expect from her books.
I was not a huge fan of this book . Both mc's pissed me off. Tagiz pursues Zoey even though he is to be mated to someone else. He and the woman he is to be mated to have made it known they love someone else. The woman begs him to break it off but he doesn't.
Knowing this, he still courts Zoey. He pursues her, screws her, and feels guilt the whole time because he wont break off his planned mating. Jerk.. I don't like this theme which is typical in some romances. Who wants a man who pursues you and screws you while intending to marry someone else? Tagiz was selfish. He knew Zoey cared for him and this would only hurt her more. Not to mention, it would shame his would be bride.
Zoey was hardly any better. She knew the circumstances and was a dumb ass for letting it happen. I couldn't stand that she continued to be close to him. He screwed her, would not leave his betrothed, and she continued to be intimate with him?!? Even after she saw him embracing his would be mate, she was still willing to kiss and embrace him. WTF!! Who likes a heroine who is okay with being the other women? What makes it worse is her mom was also a mistress to a man and Zoey was traumatized when young due to being an illegitimate child and mom's heartbreak and attempted suicide. Yet she enables the exact same thing?!? Bleh. Get some self worth woman!
I did like at the end when Zoey was captured along with Nevada and she kills the 3 aliens holding her hostage. Immediately after, she calmly delivers Nevada's baby. Good for her. It made me finally gave her a few respect points. However, it was her and Tarig's fault that they got captured in the first place. They knew the enemy was stocking their territory and they never reported it to the king cuz they were wallowing in their own pity parties. It is their fault that some soldiers died. It is their fault that Zoey, Nevada, and Nevada's baby were kidnapped. Tsk tsk that they never felt guilt about that.
I did not like the MCs. Based on that alone, I probably would have given the book a 1 rating. But, Zoey showed bravery in the end. I especially liked it when she told Tagiz's father off when pussy Tagiz wouldn't. He butt in too little too late. He stepped in AFTER she told his dad off, AFTER he thought he lost her and she had proven she can be strong. I still can't understand why she put up with him when he proved no loyalty to her over over while pursuing her. I did love the cameos from previous characters, especially Nevada. She is one of my all-time favorites The action was good and story moved at good pace so bumped it up to a 3

Hope Hart has fast become a must read author for me and this book only adds to that distinction. Ms. Hart has a way of drawing you into her books from the 1st page to the last with her fantastic storytelling and world building. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Tagiz and Zoey's story is one of learning to survive in an alien environment and finding your soul mate as well, even though the ride is a bumpy one. This book has everything that you could want in a story; comedy, action, drama, conflict, danger and of course hot romance (it is a Hope Hart book after all). You really will be sorry if you miss this absolutely fantastic addition to the Warriors of Agron series!

Has so much potential just needs some edits / tweaks for me
This is an alien PNR series that features a different couple with each new story. I personally do NOT consider this series to be a STAND-ALONE and HIGHLY recommend the stories be read in order, as there are multiple reoccurring characters (new stories provide updates on previous H/h), concurrent and consecutive timelines, with overarching themes that connect them together. Skipping a story, or reading them out of order, will result in spoilers and will not provide all of the details of what occurred previously.
** This is an alien PNR series that features elements of female abduction and enslavement. It contains scenes and /or themes that may be difficult for sensitive readers. A high-level listing of topics is listed below for anyone interested. **
— If you have not read this story, or any of the series, the following may contain spoilers! —
Agron is a planet made up of various ‘tribes’ of barbarian species. The Braxians are the dominant race that are set up in nomadic tribes governed individually by a King, or qatai. Some of the tribes have alliances, which have been built upon throughout the series to date.
The Voildi are cannibals, scavengers and opportunists that form small tribes. To date, they have existed in small numbers without organization, but that seems to be changing and would pose a serious threat to even the largest Braxian tribe if they continue to go unchecked.
This story features Zoey and Tagiz. Zoey has been mentioned in the other stories, but I didn’t remember much about him. I knew he was fascinated with Zoey and had been since they located her, but nothing about his pending mating with a Braxian female.
To date, this was my least favorite story. Maybe it was because I found there to be gaps in the story, or maybe it was because there were plenty of opportunities to lay the groundwork about Tagiz, his family’s history, or even how Zoey found out, both of which I needed to rate this higher.
I understand this is supposed to be a story where the angst is about loyalty and family, the cornerstones of the Braxians. Unfortunately for me it just fell a little flat.
There are some grammatical errors in the story, but nothing difficult to interpret. There are also a few areas of that need to be edited for content. These include:
- When the females are with the Voildi after their ship crashed, but before they were rescued by the Brexians. How did the females know the name of their race? In the first story where this scene is more detailed, the females had no clue that the Voildi were cannibals that were basically a plague on Agron until it was explained to them by the Braxians.
- Where is the scene / detail about how Zoey found out about Tagiz’s family’s expectations to mate with another? Who told her and what was her reaction?
I uploaded my other notes to Goodreads for anyone interested. I mention these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors and omissions interrupt the flow.
⛔️ Contains references to, or scenes detailing, subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including, but not limited to: adult language; derogatory terms; mental health challenges; steamy adult intimate scenes with elements of dominance, etc.; violence such as abduction, murder, death, torture, war between alien races, betrayal, cannibalism, enslavement, etc.
It was okay I like the rest of the series but this one feels like it built too much for the groveling and then there was like kinda nothing except for like one conversation. Plus I kinda got irritated with MMC bc he was just taking advantage of FMC kind off like where’s the ansgs of him knowing he can’t and should stay away but that far away glances. (Which that happens but it was tainted with no real depth)
He didn’t really have any restrains he just took and didn’t really care how he was hurting her by continuing getting close to her while not truly being with her.No we just get him stating his claim and then saying but u know I can’t but u can’t go with anyone anyways but I still want u and we r still going to do it no matter that we still aren’t a sure things
There was no real groveling as it was promised. It was just him taking from her and her begging and never complaining about every little nothing that he gives with no real promise. It sucked that she didn’t really get a moment where they talking about how he was hurting her bc they never talked about it. It was just like hey, so you know how I don’t want to disappoint my dad so yeah it’s not real clear why I changed my mind but just me being ready to be with ma girl so yeah. Then it was just, so I’m not going to tell anyone for some reason that I’m no longer obligated to be with this other girl but I’m still going to go after you. Her saying no for like 3 days and then him FINALLY telling her and them together. (Pissed me off someone said she needed to apologize to him for god knows what)
For the FMC she made her whole thing being from a second family and those family trauma, but then goes and is like okay when he randomly kisses her and they “tumble” like if she was really worried like that she would be EXTRA careful and just the actions weren’t correlating with the inner monologue 🙄 idk just thoughts still an okay book in a great series
P.S lost opportunity with the basic trope of MC waking up from a bad dream and MMC coming in 🤷🏻♀️
P.P.S I hate the miscommunication trope so (:

I loved Tagiz and Zoey’s alien-human romance. The story had the perfect mix of humor, heartwarming love, real life issues, spice, danger, excitement, mistakes, and redemption. Tagiz is a Braxian warrior from the planet Agron. Zoey is a human working as a trauma nurse when she is abducted by aliens, crash lands on Agron, and is “rescued” by the Voildi who are “bad” aliens, but in the process her ribs are broken and she develops pneumonia. She is trapped in a cage, dying from pneumonia when she rescued by a group of Braxians, including Tagiz. There is instant chemistry and attraction between Zoey and Tagiz but he is unavailable because his parents arranged his mating to a Braxians female when he was a child. Despite their feelings, Zoey is determined not to be the other woman. I love a strong heroine who decides to rescue herself, especially one who is underestimated like Zoey. To get to their HEA, Zoey and Tagiz must deal with their cultural differences, unpack all of their messy baggage, choose some life course correction, all while dealing with the aliens intent on taking the human woman back as their slaves. This story was well written and included engaging dialogue, good world building, three dimensional characters who grow, and an captivating storyline. I love this series. 4.5 stars.
Excellent story! One of my favorite in the series💖
Tagiz and Zoey have been dancing around one another since the beginning of the series. Both have a lot of baggage from their childhood that has shaped the adults the have become. Zoey, was an illegitimate child. Her father was married and used her mother until one day he never returned. Zoey, became a nurse and loved her mother until the day she passed, but her father left her with a distrust of men. Taken, sold into slavery, crashing on Argon and then almost dying from cracked ribs and pneumonia has left her feeling less confident of her self and her abilities. The one thing she is certain of us that she loves Tagiz but doesn't trust him not to hurt her . Tagiz a great warrior adopted when he was very young feels indebted to the man that took him in. He can't help but love and want His little healer Zoey, but his family must come first. Right? All that changes when both learn things about themselves they did not see before. Danger, capture almost take away their happily ever after. It's a great read. It a story of discovery, working threw the past and embracing the new to realize love really is all that matters. This is a great series and each book just makes it better and better!💖💖💖
Honestly, after Beths story, I almost gave up on the series. I was curious enough about Alexis I kept reading. I almost skipped this one thinking it was going to be a filler story. The backdrop of the aliens on Agron has made this a more Interesting read. I want to know what happens with the war, and it makes the love story actually work. I had issues with not believing the Romance in some of the previous stories. The timeline doesn’t seem rushed here because their story has been progressing in the other books. We don’t start at the beginning. We pick it up in the middle. They are already in love and I don’t doubt it. Their love story seems unnecessarily dramatic. It was drawn out too long, but I want to know about the war and the fighting, so I don’t mind it as much. It looks like I’ll end up reading all the way through the 9th book after all.
Another fantastic book in another great series by Hope Hart
It’s true that many genre books in run in a series are very cookie cutter. This series is NOT. Each of the books in the series are about unique couples in an un-unique world. Hope fleshes our her characters well with very distinct personalities and challenges, and she is kind enough to keep the circle open, allowing other established characters to interact and be part of the story, making it all feel whole and true to the world she has built. While the storyline has plenty of hills and valleys of emotion, it continually feels warm with interaction and and the ending comes way before you want it to. I recommend this series and Hope Hart if you are looking for another great read...well written, well edited, with great world building and of course HEA plots.
'Though She Be But Little She Is Fierce'. Zoey, a nurse from Earth, is still recovering from her near death experience after being kidnapped by aliens. The Braxian warrior Tagiz is the person who carries her out from the cage she had been kept in. They develop a relationship even though he was promised to another by his parents. It's a mating that he nor the Braxian woman wants. Someone has been spreading rumors that human women are too fragile to birth Braxian babies. This has been causing emotional issues amongst the women who are pregnant. They have started worrying themselves, though the healers haven't seen any issues with the pregnancies. But Zoey gets to the cause of the rumors and shows how fierce human women can be. At its core, this story is about leaving behind the person you thought you were and embracing the person you truly are.
Not my favorite addition to the series. The MC's annoyed me, the Hero mostly. He runs hot and cold with the heroine for most of the book. Then is all surprised when she finally calls him on it and tells him to leave her alone. He's got family issues and doesn't want to disappoint his parents but I mean, he's an alien barbarian. Why is he letting his father tell him what to do? I know that trope can be interesting but for me it dragged too long. It's not my fav trope anyway and really I wanted her to forget him and find a new barbarian who would treat her how she deserved.
I still love the world and the glimpses of characters from previous books. I will continue to see how the series plays out but this one left me a little underwhelmed.

Book 7 introduces us to some traditional and conservative thinking among the Braxians. The MMC has to deal with his xenophobic dad if he is going to get the female he wants. Meanwhile, the MFC is reinventing herself as a healer on Agron (from being a nurse on earth). We also get to see Nevada give birth in a dicey situation which of course she handles like a champ. This whole series does a great job of balancing the back story with relationship building so not only is it fun to see how two people come together, but each book keeps the reader wanting to find out what is going to happen next in the rest of the world too. Looking forward to book 8.
Zoey's probably had it the hardest of all, but she's come through the worst, if only Tagiz would stop treating her as an invalid. The one time she thought he might kiss her he pulled back. Well she'll show him and everyone else. Human women are smart, resilient and strong, no matter what the rumors are saying. Tagiz is fighting himself, he wants Zoey, but knows he can't have her. There's a lot going on in this story line, story within story, and a journey of self discovery for Zoey before she finds what she's looking for. Great characters, a must read, Bravo!

I love this spin-off series. I can't wait for the next book. Zoey has trust issues before she is kidnapped and sold on an alien planet with other women, so when Tagiz shows an interest, she doesn't believe him. Tagiz rescued Zoey with assistance from other warriors and he wants her for his own, to bad that he is promised to another. The humans and the Braxian Warriors are gearing up for a fight with the Dokhalls that sold the women. What will happen now? Will Tagiz get Zoey? Will they win the coming battle? Must read to find out.

I absolutely loved reading this book. I’ve not read any previous books in this series, but I’m hooked now. Zoey and Tagiz are attracted to each other, but Tagiz has been promised to another woman Mali. But Mali loves another amen, but Tagiz is only doing the mailing to please his father. There are lots of twists and turns in their story, so the only way to find out what happens, you will need to read this epic adventure for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

The braxians and the humans are fighting a more fearsome enemy but these females are strong. They may appear small and weak, but they are fierce in a fight. And Zoey, like the rest of the women, had proven it.
This story made me ruminate on the words of wisdom spoken here, advice given when the heart is hurting. Tagis and Zoey are clearly in love with each other, but Tagis needs to choose his path, that of his family or that of his heart.

I loved Tagiz’s and Zoey’s story I’ve missed a couple of these books but no worries even though they are part of a series they can be read as standalones with new characters in each of the books but you also get scenes with the characters from the other books. Tagiz has a mate already chosen for him by his father but they are brother and sister they aren’t in love with each other, Tagiz has fallen for Zoey but he won’t go against his father’s wishes so will love conquer all with these two?. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I found myself wishing we had a little more background. I know Zoey and Tagix met previously so we kind of start with them already knowing and liking each other.
I love an instalove man, but Tagix is promised to another mate and I feel like Zoey was a little too lax about it for a while. (The mate doesn’t want the pairing either, at least.) I wanted Zoey to not keep hanging out with him and being intimate until he made a decisive decision.
I like how Zoey was trying to find a purpose and tried to help with healing and poisons.
Overall, it was cute!

So Zoey didn't die and she's still working on getting stronger by the minute. Tagiz wasn't quite sure she would be any help but he's had to change his mind as they have been working together to fight the planet, the Grivath and get the ship from the Grivath's get to it and leave them stranded on the Planet Agron. Great series. Can't wait to read the next book. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The hero spends most of the book promised to another woman, his parents and her parents want the arranged marriage to happen. The not wanted fiance is in love with another alien man.
So the heroine feels like she is second best, just like her mom was a mistress to a married man.
Eventually the hero gets his head on straight and tells his parents he will not mate that woman.
That first/second sex scene was muuuuuuuch better. It wasn't rushed, it wasn't fade to black, and there was no "I lost track of how long he pounded me" type of crap. it was detailed and spread over several pages. It was great.
Tagiz and Zoey were so cute. And I love that Zoey stuck to her guns when it came to refusing to be the other woman. Loved that and how she fought for Nevada while they were kidnapped.
I just loved Zoey but got so frustrated with Tragitz, he took forever to man up! This book was full of action, crazy, vicious aliens and hunky alien barbarian warriors eager to claim a human mate. It family expectations caused a lot of problems for this couple before they got their HEA. It was an engaging, entertaining read with fantastic world building and characters you can’t help but cheer for.
Zoey and Tagiz may be my favorite couple yet. Both have reasons to deny their obvious attraction and both need to become who they were meant to be. Zoey is a very strong woman and Tagiz is a gentle alpha. While you can read this as a standalone, it will be more enjoyable if you read the books in order.
I enjoyed reading this book, it has a good storyline. This book is entertaining and filled with action and adventure. The chemistry and interaction between the characters of Zoey and Tagiz is great. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
