For years, I've waited... For years, the hate inside me has grown, manifesting into a rage so dark, its demons consumed my soul.
I didn't fight it. I welcomed it.
The time has come. My brothers think they can save me.
How do you save a man that's devoured by demons? You don't.
**WARNING- Devoured By Demons is NOT a romance.**
**The Heaven's Guardians MC are interconnected novels each covering one club member. For the best reading experience please follow the recommended reading order.
Reading Order: Washed In Blood- (Priest) Silenced By Sin- (Patch) Haunted By Regret- (Bullet) Betrayed By Beauty- (Angel) Devoured By Demons- (Demon)
I liked Demon story, I felt for him and the love he had for his sister was beautiful and touching. I wish the book was longer and explored better the romance between him and Isadora. We had no time to love them, no interaction between them and the brothers in the Clubhouse, we saw NOTHING. It was solely based on how was his life with his sister and after his sister’s death and the revenge. Didn’t show us how he was with the brothers before, didn’t give us anything but his life with his sister and revenge. I was expecting more for a last book of the series, specially after reading in the beginning that the author took 3 years after Angel’s book to write this one and that’s all she came up with? Not even 200 pages and no romance, no bromance , nothing 🤷🏻♀️ disappointing…..
consider me fucking disappointed😭😭 like it really hurts me to rate this 2 stars cause i was SO excited for demons book and i knew it would be much darker than the previous ones but what was this?? no proper build up, not much background from the fmc and more scenes with him and his dead sister than between the couple itself… i mean i get it it was to show how destroyed he was/is by the death of his sister and how much trauma he suffered because of it but to not really focus on the main couple itself was quite disappointing😭 and again just like the third book way too rushed
"I'm not one of God's chosen, I'm one of his cursed."
This book is classified as Contemporary Romance, and is book five of an interconnected series. It does have a trigger warning list: death of an animal, violence, torture, murder, revenge killings, death by fire, grief and loss, drug use and addiction, prostitution, mental illness, DV, gun violence, physical and spicy abuse, grape, abduction, and spicy traffic.
The book is written in first person. This book has multiple point of views: Demon and Isadora. Demon had a younger sister and is fighting his own demons. He grew up on the streets and struggling with his sisters death, after promising he would protect her. Isadora was born into the Cartel and wants to escape the abuse she is enduring under the hands of her father. On top of the abuse, he is also using her for gains.
I was a bit disappointed about this book. because I feel like Demon was the last book and we were like leading up to his story. but I get that the author struggled. It was good. I liked the chemistry between the two characters. They clicked right away.
Man, it took me for what feels like forever to work up the nerve to read his story. I knew it would bring me to tears many times, and it certainly did. I wanted to see his happily ever after so badly. I am glad I finally finished it. Be Free. Be Happy, Heaven's Guardians MC.
Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with this book. There was hardly any background provided for the FMC, instead we spent over half the book with him talking to his dead sister. It just came across annoying after a while and didn’t endear me to the couple at all.
When I first started this I wasn’t sure how it was going to go. I wanted so much for Demon and his future. And it honestly was a perfect ending for him. ❤️
maybe 1.5 - this one i really didn’t like the ghosts idk. the addition of sara was odd and just made him not very likeable until the super end. also the way they got together was sus but i liked isa’s pov and her storyline so idk. plus i loved how they all got back together. love the found family
