A very sweet story. Glamping on the beach sounds like a fun weekend and it certainly was portrayed that way in this story along with a sweet love story. All of the main family characters are in this story, and this is a really entertaining series to enjoy. I highly recommend.

What Hopes Are Made Of is an enjoyable addition to the Star Gazer Inn of Corpus Christi Bay series. If you have read the first two books in the series, you will love returning to these characters and seeing what is going on in everyone’s lives, as well as focusing on the possibility of new love on the horizon for a few characters. If you haven’t read the other books, you will be able to follow along with this story, but I think this novel is best enjoyed after reading the other books of the series first.

This story focuses on Riley and Sophie. They met in a previous book, but only briefly. It was so fun to see them really connect in this novel and to read about the Glamping experience that Riley now provides at the ranch.

Each couple previously introduced in the earlier books gets some time in this story and it is fun to see what new happenings are on the horizon for them. I am intrigued by the interactions between Lisa and Zane and look forward to seeing more of them in the next book.

I love the other stories that go on in these books. An ongoing story of their mom, Alice, who opened up the Star Gazer Inn and her boyfriend, Seth. Lisa, the head chef and Alice’s good friend, and her assistant chef, Zane. Also, the previous brothers and their wives have POVs. Easy to read and wonderful storylines.

So much going on in this book. First we have Riley McIntyre's story. A year ago he had a chance meeting at a gas station with a woman who was returning from a weekend of "glamping". Since Riley had been searching for something to do, he explored the idea of turning some of the unused McIntyre property into a camping site. With the blessing of his brothers, he worked to make it a reality. The only missing thing in his life now was someone special.

Sophie is in charge of her group's camping weekends and the property they had lined up cancelled on them. So she decided to check out a new campsite to see if it would work for their group. Imagine the surprise when she runs into Riley. Their attraction to each other is something neither can deny but they both decide to put things on hold until after the glamping weekend.

In addition to their stories, we get a continuation of the development of the relationship between Alice and Seth, a budding attraction between the two chefs, and some adorable puppies. This series is best read in order for the full effect of the overarching storylines. Loving this series.

So fun to get a peek into the lives of the McIntyre family again! I love how the author shares the life and loves of Alice, the matriarch, and her 4 sons, and her friend, Lisa. This book is focused on one of the sons, Riley, and his new business venture of "Glamping". However, it touches on an update on everyone that you've come to love in the other books so no one is left out! I really want to personally visit the Star Gazer Inn that Alice refurbished or the McIntyre Ranch where the camp is located. Darn these fictional places! I want them to be real! But, I love the descriptions of them from the author. Ms. Clopton always has such a positive, joyful way of writing that draws you into the characters' lives. I loved the way Riley and his new sweetheart, Sophie, began their relationship. There is a lot to enjoy in this new novel and I'm already looking forward to the next one!

This is a fun continuation of the series. To get the backstories it’s better to read the others first. This is Riley and Sophie’s story with Riley developing a beach camping site on the edge of the ranch. He set it up to attract glamping groups after a chance visit at a gas station a year earlier. Sophie had talked to the handsome cowboy about glamping, but no way she was giving out her number to a stranger at a gas station. Then she drove up to the gate of the new camping facility to check it out for her group and they instantly recognized each other. We also get an update on the rest of the family. Alice keeps going slow with Seth until something happens to make her reevaluate. Lisa the cook is sure relationships aren’t going to happen for her after her horrible divorce but Zane the assistant head cook is sure handsome and nice.

Debra Clopton continues the stories of McIntyre family which includes Alice, the matriarch, and her 4 sons, and her friend, Lisa. The main story is Riley McIntyre and the opening of his camp and "glamping? and Sophia is got him interested in it. You get updates on the rest of the family especially Alice and Seth. It is a busy story that keeps your interest. You can read this without reading the first two but you may miss somethings. I can not wait for the next book to see what happens next with the last son, Chef Lisa as well as Seth and Alice. I enjoy Debra's series but I am really thinking this is going to be a close second to he Mule Hollow set books.

We are back in Star Gazer Island, and the McIntyre Ranch . Though the main story centers around the youngest McIntyre sibling, Riley, we get to visit with Alice, the “boys” mother, her friend, Lisa and the rest of McIntyres.
Riley has finally finished the camping site and hoping to book a “glamping” group. Imagine his surprise when the woman he met last summer at a gas station, and the inspiration to his new venture, Sophie, shows up to book her glamping group.
From there on, a relationship develops, while Alice and Seth have a scare and a man from Lisa’s past shows up.
This was another entertaining , clean, sweet romance about family, finding love for the first or second chance. To be enjoyed on an afternoon of leisure. Looking forward to the next story in this series.

We have returned to Corpus Christi and here we have Riley McIntyre and his Glamping Campsite.
Another excellent book from Debra, which is very well written to the point that you feel you are there and it's so true to life. So grab your copy today you won’t be disappointed, I am not going to go further into the story. It deserves to be enjoyed without spoilers

There is lots of love going on around the Star Gazer Inn and the McIntyre Ranch! You will enjoy how Riley is getting his campground set up on ranch property and how the girl he met last summer (but didn't get her name) comes to schedule a glamping weekend for her female camping group! If you have read either of the first two books in this series, you will love following up on the romance between Riley's mom and her carpenter! I recommend this contemporary romance to others! I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.

This family love story continyes

The love story of Alice and Seth continues, but the main story is of Riley and Sophie. Riley meets Sophie at a gas station and finds out she is part of the glamping community, which sparks his interest. So Riley develops a unique camping area on the coast part of the ranch. As he is getting ready for his first family camping weekend Sophie shows up wanting to book for a women's glamping weekend. The attraction between the two grows. Another good clean story by Debra Clopton. When reading this book I felt like part of the family on Star Gazer Island. Alice & Seth, Lisa & Zane, Riley & Sophie, Nina & Jackson, Lorna & Dallas and finally Tucker all have a major part in this story! I won’t share any of the surprises in this story, but I am excited for others to read it and enjoy it as much as I did! Definitely 5 stars. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

I enjoy Debra Clopton's books as quick to read feel good stories. This one is part of the series about the McIntyre family. Though the main part of the story is of Riley and Sophie, it includes the rest of the family also. There is also an emphasis on how God's hand is on our lives, not necessarily to keep us from trouble, but to help us through it. It was mostly lighthearted and fun, which is the kind of story I wanted today. My only complaint is that everything was almost too perfect.

I was disappointed with this story. I have read many books by this author and loved them all, but this one seemed stilted and dull. The dialog seemed scripted and almost like it was written by an inexperienced author. There were several stories going on, but only one resolved. The characters were one dimensional and predictable. I will get the next book in the series and hope it is better.

First in the series was great

The first book in this series was great, nicely paced with all of the characters well defined. however each book after seemed to get progressively stilted, detached and had a rushed feeling. It’s almost as if written by a completely different person from the first book.

I love to camp so the idea of glamping was very intriguing to me. Riley and Sophie make one adorable couple. Loved getting caught up with the characters in previous books. Some much happening to the different family members and decisions being made. Looking forward to Lisa's book.
