This was a short, sweet and sexy read. Ella Goode’s work always reminds me of Alexa Riley’s short story creations! I know to always expect an insta- love connection between the main couple, low angst, and hot sex!!!
This story takes place in a small town and it features the sheriff and his woman whom he claims as soon as he lays his eyes on her! This sheriff entertained me as he was a total stalker in my opinion!!😂😂😂 He definitely falls in love hard, and is extremely possessive when it comes to his woman!
If you are looking for a quick, and steamy romance, then do give this one a try. It’s worth it for the laugh out loud moments alone! Anything extra was truly a bonus!💘

It was a cute and steamy read with lovable characters. Virgin heroine, hero not a manwhore. Wish epilogue was further out.

This novella was in thr King series and the small little town has some fun times and little steam.
Dane hears from a neighbor someone broke into someone's house now he's investigating it and turns out new person moving into town. Khloe is annoyed at who barged into her place on top of that Dane is bossy alpha and over the top Cop who won't leave her alone and annoys her. Plus every woman in town wants him(shows 2 woman but its not serious) so she does have some insecure moments since her last bf cheated on her with her mother. YES MOTHER!!! So she does pull away but that doesnt stop Dane from trying to take down those walls.
Tiny om drama (the ex) and well sorta ow but not really?, No cheating, Drama, slight secondary charas, sexy times, virgin girl no manehore

No tan bueno como Always Loved You, pero si bastante entretenido.
La historia es precipitada y muy irreal, tanto que de suceder en la vida real, le pondrian una orden de alejamiento a el protagonista masculino pero como es ficcion, supongo que esta medianamente bien y puedo pasar ciertas cosas por alto ( siempre que no se tome al pie de la letra ).
Resumiendo, Alpha' s Castle es una novela breve de leer y que no aporta gran cosa, no obstante, para cuando tienes el tiempo justo, esta ok.

I've enjoyed Ms. Goode's writing in the past, and I wanted to give these last couple of Castle books a shot, but I have to say that this isn't quite for me.
This is a very particular story, with an alphahole who basically steamrolls over the heroine "for her own good." That's not my cuppa, and the characters weren't developed much beyond the bare minimum, which didn't help me look past the tendency to approve of the hero just doing whatever he wanted, even with the best of intentions. I didn't outright hate it, but I didn't like it much either.
So, this wasn't my jam, but if it is yours, you may enjoy it more than I did.

Mí humilde opinión:
Khloe Martin hereda la casa de su tía en Smithsville, un pueblo donde todos conocen a todos. Y no pudo suceder en mejor momento ya que necesitaba alejarse de su prometido.
Él la engañó nada más ni nada menos que con su madre.
Pero entonces conoce a Dane, el sheriff del pueblo que parece querer meter las narices en todos sus asuntos. Es mandón, arrogante y guapo, así que debería tener cuidado y mantener a salvo su corazón ya que su forma de actuar funciona en ella.
Dane es el soltero más deseado del pueblo pero nunca pensó en establecerse con una mujer hasta Khloe. Ella es dulce, inteligente e increíblemente sexy. Una mirada y ya esa decidido, ella será su futura esposa.
Un librito corto y dulce y sexy como me tiene acostumbrada EG. Ideal para desconectar, me encantan las historias sexys de esta autora, la verdad me hacen sonreír.
Dane es increíble, guapo y mandón, me sentí como Khloe, no sabía si quería pegarle o colgármele del cuello. Me gustó mucho toda la persecución, resultó loco y dulce a la vez. Lo que está chica justo necesitaba después de lo mal que la había pasado. Un hombre que la ame de verdad y la cuide.
Khloe me gustó mucho también, al principio creí que iba a ser más difícil pero me sorprendió.
Una pareja destinada y una historia muy linda con un final redondo. La madre de Khloe recibió su merecido, qué cara aparecer ahí.
Epílogo como siempre un broche de corazón brillante al final que te deja una sonrisita.

A short read. Insta-Love is a key ingredient. Very OTT hero who steamrolls the heroine.
This was a silly bit of fluff - some moments that had be amused due to how ridiculous they were.

I love Ella Goode!!!
I love reading Ella Goode books especially when I'm in the mood for a bossy, alpha male, which is most of the time. This one is set in a small town with a hunky sheriff and an audiobook narrator.

She gives my life meaning.
Cute, small town story. Alpha obsessed H and a feisty h made this one pretty enjoyable. There were a few laugh out loud moments. Loved the side characters and hope to hear from this small town again.
-virgin h, no talk about H's past. Only that he doesn't date women in his own town.
-no cheating or abuse
-some OW drama but it's harmless and some OM drama from her ex but it's cleared up quickly
-dual POV
-there is an epilogue but not too far into the future.

Fantastic steamy, sweet and fun read! Absolutely loved it and Dane's alpha-ness, reminded me a bit of Kristen Ashley's alphas but a bit less caveman-ish and a quicker read, wish it had been longer.

Alpha's Castle reminded me my dog, who'd scratch his ear and then bite his leg for scratching him too hard. It was crazy. An eyeroll-worthy crazy.

Because I did like the hero.
And if all that was a full-length, I'd give it more.
But when you're taking about love and marriage after 2 days?
Yeah, I'm out.
Pity, because if the characters were given the time to develop their feelings and their relationship, I'd be quite happy.
But this instalove on steroids only works for me if it's at first one-sided (hero) and the heroine takes time to develop her feelings, get to know the hero and all that jam.
We didn't have it here.
Plus, I wasn't the fan of the heroine. She was kinda annoying.
What's worth mentioning is that this is book 2 in the series.
I already read book 3 Beast's Castle and I actually liked it.
There's also book 1 King's Castle, which I'm going to read next.
And I truly hope it will be better than this one.
Also, could the author or whoever is in charge of this page, put these books in the series/ right order so I wouldn't have to stumble upon some random books/titles like a blind kid in a playground only to discover that some are series and some are not?

Khloe Martins needs a reset to her life after finding out her fiancee was cheating on her. Khloe finds out that she has inherited a house in Smithsville and since she can work remotely she packs up and moves to the small town ready for a fresh start. What she does not expect is to have the Chief of Police in her house ready to arrest her.
Dane realizes he made a mistake accusing Khloe of being an intruder but such is the life of a cop when you get a call to check out activity in a house that has long been empty. Dane doesn't let it faze him though that Khloe is trying to kick him out of her house, he knows the minute he meets she is his one. Now he needs to convince and woo Khloe. Can he win the heart of the stubborn woman by his side?

Alpha’s Castle by Ella Goode was a fun read with steamy chemistry and alpha hero we love. Khloe is starting over when she meets Dane. Dane knows she is it from the start. They have a great connection and back and forth. A quick and fun read that will make you smile.
