Cassie and Stacy were on the prowl… Then there he was. Something about him didn’t fit their usual kind of target. Physically, he was perfect. Tall, muscular, good looking. But there was something they just couldn’t put their finger on. With their objective in sight, now it was time to reel in their prey.
Chris went to the bar under pressure from his friends. After having failed at every relationship he’s ever had, he had given up on even meeting someone new. Being shanghaied by Cassie and Stacy was way outside of his comfort zone.
My Two Wives contains strong language and descriptive sexual content including sexual interactions with multiple partners including same sex activities between women. Not recommend for under 18 readers.
Craig Rice grew up in a small town south of Tulsa Oklahoma. His passion started in his Freshmen year when he was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons. His creativity started developing and became an outlet by taking on the role of Game Master for a variety of games. His earliest attempts at writing was a dismal failure, claiming that he wrote his stories into corners that he couldn't get out of.
Continuing his passion for gaming it remained his most creative outlet for developing his talent. In 2015 he was challenged by a co-worker to try it again and wrote what he believed to be his breakout novel. It wasn't that great and due to many mistakes, revisions, it was removed from availability.
Learning from previous mistakes, Craig has created a new series of books that he believes will be his best work yet, utilizing aspects from his earlier works, he has created a more fulfilling goal in his new works.
In Full Swing Determined to finish a book saturated with lurid, erotic details, I steeled myself for the task through the capacity of a voyeuristic reader.
All of the characters in ‘My Two Wives’ engage in the socially unconventional lifestyle of swingers. In that regard, the author brings a smorgasbord of possibilities to the table.
Heavy on graphics, the author spares his readers gratuitous pornography through feasible scenarios, credible backstories and personable characters. No pun intended, the reader can understand how Chris, the protagonist, easily gets sucked into this lifestyle.
Although social mores of the strait-laced and swinger may differ by a wide margin, the characters in this story exemplify swingers who pivot from their own moral code of ethics and commitments.
If you’re seeking a story steaming in the full regalia of an unconventional lifestyle, leaving little to the imagination, this book is for you.
DOWN: the writing! So many issues with spelling and grammar, so much excess and repetition, and the JD Salinger tendency to draaaaaaaaaag the story with all the backstory that could’ve come out in dialogue. Plus, I found it hard to keep track of who was saying what at times. Frankly, I’d give it another star if it wasn’t for all the mistakes that distracted me (and maybe half another one if the narrative was trimmer). Maybe this writing style just isn’t for me, but the mistakes are avoidable, and somebody’s got to say it to help a fellow author.
UP: the story and characters! While hard to believe, you want to (and I mean that for both). You want to believe a lover that hot wants to share you. You want to believe just about everyone who catches you in these spicy situations wants to support you (or join you) rather than turn you into the police (or at least be discovered by the one we met in that parking lot, because he was just cool AF). How easy things ended up going for Chris curbs much of the drama that would make this story more plausible (which is where it lost that last half star), but Cassie brings plenty to go around. Plus, gotta love that dopey heart-of-gold Chris who lets a woman as complicatedly awesome as Cassie just push her way in (especially after the way Sonya did) with such grace and kindness. Hey, as much as I love to help people, I know I’d have an issue with a new girlfriend just assuming she could invite near-strangers to live with me without talking to me beforehand. Still, I liked meeting the main characters enough to want to see where it all goes in the second book.
So, this book needs better editing, but the story is worth the read and the characters are enjoyable enough to follow. Check it out!
This was a good read. Chris has body issues mainly because of his past. He meets Cassie and Stacy who help him gain confidence of himself. He’s still getting past his jealously and one-woman show while his two soon to be wives help him open up. There are some areas of the book I wasn’t to fond of, for instance, the anal and then blow-job. To me it’s not clean enough, overall, the others scenes were quite vivid.
This is my first read by this author. The story keeps you sucked in from the beginning. You never know what will happen. You will laugh at some parts and some will have you wanting to rip your partners clothes off.
I’ll be honest. Reading this was a damn sight easier than reviewing. I try to read many different genres, to broaden my experience. This read was outside of my comfort zone and reviewing it is hard because there’s no reference I can relate it back to. There is a story and it’s not half bad, if it hadn’t had one, there would be no way I’d be able to finish. It’s not the language, I’ve read a lot worse. It’s the quite explicit sexual content that is not for the faint-hearted. All I can say is that Chris is one lucky guy. He goes from a shy and naive 350lb teen, thinking he’s a freak because of what he’s packing in his trousers, to a stud of a man, 200lb of muscle with abs and sought after by sex crazed women. Cassie and Stacy, the two main women, are every single mans dream. They’ve set their sights on Chris and zero in on their target. He never really had a chance. I won’t spoil the read for anyone by giving away the ending, but the title says it all. It wasn’t quite a five star read, I’d have to give it a four and a half, which will probably show as four. Only because I must admit to being more than a tad uncomfortable reading it. (In more ways than one)
Chris has a problem. Teased and taunted at school for the abnormally large size of his dick, he grew into a shy, awkward teenager hiding his shame under 350 pounds of flab. But Sabrina, a liberated woman at his work, gets him into the gym and in terrific shape. Now all the girls want to jump his bones, but his fear of failure and ridicule stops him making the most of his super-schlong. Enter Cassie and Stacy who convince Chris he has what they need, and soon he’s getting all the action he can handle. But will he also gain the long-term relationship he craves? A lively, absorbing and horny tale. Recommended.
you can dig how Chris is insecure, being that he was an overweight youth, but when he gets his fitness together, he can’t seem to reconcile the fact that a bunch of hot women find the “new” him attractive! add to that the fact that he thinks his “size” means one thing when it means something entirely different, and it’s no wonder that Cassie (no Diddy) and Stacy’s issues blend so perfectly with his. it both fits and works!
Chris has problems in relationships, women take advantage of him. Insecure in his abilities, Chris starts flirting with Sabina, his work colleague. His transformation of attitude will make him desirable. Through the story, we are following his development. Witty, humorous, and provocative sentences keep the reader's attention.
Wow! I couldn't put this book down! Very well done, unpredictable twists and turns. I'm referring this book to other author friends of mine. Hope you write more Craig! Jack Rose
This book was entertaining. There were a couple of laugh out loud moments. There were several hot moments. I liked Cassie and Stacy, they are sexually free. The story kept me turning the page. But I did not like that there were racial slurs used.
I love how these characters interact with each other and balance each other. This book is very hot and steamy read. I could not put this book down. I can not wait for book 2.
