I enjoyed this a lot. It's like a rom-com but one that focuses on modern masculinity and how the gym can really improve our outlook. This felt like a deeply personal book and I identified with Ken a great deal. Even the name "Ken" feels like a clever play on the idea of the barbie doll and the perfect man. There was so much empathy and considered character development. The role of coronavirus made the book feel like something for the moment. I'd like to read more of the author's work.
