First time reading Charmaine Louise Shelton. Excellent first book to start with. Sebastian and Lola’s story is beautiful written. Lola a lingerie designer and buiness women. Head of successful company attempting to branch out in the United States. Sebastian a wealthy businessman working on becoming the next CEO, and Dom. Levels is a multi level bdsm club which happens to be owned by another member of the Steel International. Lola wanting to help get her anxiety in check, convinces her friend to explore the New York club to be topped. Lola agrees to a scene with a Dom named Ben. You could imagine her surprise when the next day in walks Bez for the presentation. Both married to their careers, don’t do relationships, but are willing to let down their walls to see if they can make it work. Do two head strong business men in the boardroom and D/s outside of it find the right path to make this work and find happiness? Grab a copy and find out…

Very spicy and very hot.

Wasn’t a massive fan of the storyline, but the spice carried the book for me.

Lola and Baz are great together. This book hooks you from beginning to end. Lola knows what she wants even though she is an independent one. Baz knows just want she wants and needs. A life long friend of Bazs interferes, cannot wait to see what happens next.

Dom finds his Sub and his love?

This is the story of Lola and Sebastian. She is a hard-working, independent business woman who knows what she wants. He is a billionaire who demands his own way in everything in and out of the bedroom. The two first meet up in a BDSM club by accident, but both feel drawn to the other. They start out with a Dom/Sub relationship, but it quickly turns into so much more. I really enjoyed the characters and their journeys so far. I loved reading this book, and I can't wait to start the next one.

Sebastian is a Dom with a lot of experience. Lola is curious about the lifestyle. Sebastian is willing to teach Lola more about it. After their first night together they meet at a work meeting. That is where lines start to blur. I have enjoyed this story so far. I cant wait to read the next one.

The overall plot was alright, but the writing got worse the further through I got. I thought this was going to be a 5 star read when I started - to the point where I thought I might end up getting a physical copy. Of the two stars I ended up giving, one was for the cover. I got this when it was free (I’ll leave my gratitude for that up to the imagination).

The lack of communication between the two main characters drove me insane. For this to be a positive representation of BDSM the characters need to be able to discuss what’s going. The way Sebastian just does things to Lola without discussing them first and uses “I’m your Dom” as an excuse for it is not good BDSM practice. In fact it’s a gateway to abuse. Sebastian is also toxicly jealous. Why can’t he, a grown man, cope with seeing Lola having innocent fun when there are men around?

As nice as it is to see other languages mixed in to books written in English, the lack of translation on the Russian was a pain because it wasn’t written in Cyrillic so the translator on my kindle couldn’t help - I know enough French that I didn’t need a translation of the French used but I could see someone else struggling.

The author clearly doesn’t know what 360 degrees actually is because twice a view was described as 360 when it would be literally impossible for the view to have been ALL THE WAY AROUND.

I was trying not to compare the quality of this to fanfiction, but all attempts of that flew out of the widow when the raven hair was thrown up into a messy bun. The random time skips also didn’t help. If I had a pound for every time the fmc was described as little or petite I’d be able to solve world hunger.

Quite frankly I could not care less what happens after the cliff hanger. She’s better off without him.

This is book 1 in Shelton's STEELE International Inc A Billionaires Romance Series and the first part of Sebastian and Lola's story. This is also the first book I've listened to of Shelton's and I have to say I thought it was awesome. A great introduction to the series, great descriptions that had me feeling like I could actually be there. Loved these characters who are both strong a great storyline to go with the steam! So, yeah - great steam factor, loved the BDSM element. This book and these characters and storyline had me captivated from start to finish and now I can't wait for more! Oh - narration - fan freakin stastic! Loved the dual point of view and the dual narration - made the characters come to life and the story all the more thrilling!

I don't know how to rate this b book. It was too much back and forth. Both had high tempers and did not have any trust for a relationship. Their sex life was excellent because she wanted to experience more about BDSM. He became her coach therefore, their sex life was compatible. Both had extremely strong personalities and would not compromise. They alway missed each other when they weren't together. Both had careers that meant alot to them, but there was no problem when they had to be away for business. They always found time for sex, but not for working out their problems. The jealousy between them was ridiculous.

BDSM primer. Lola is a designer of high-end sexy lingerie with aspirations to expand her business from Paris to the USA. Luc, her mentor and business partner, has arranged a meeting with Sebastian of Steele Industries to discuss a partnership. Lola, having been introduced to BDSM several years before, decides to visit Levels, an exclusive nightclub. There she runs into Sebastian, not knowing his identity, and he not knowing hers. Sparks fly between them but this is only for one night. Right!?! Great story with well developed characters, but beware, there is a lot of sex. Cliffhanger, alas, but I can't wait for more!

Just okay for me. 💜

For me, this book didn’t have enough storyline. There’s a lot of Sub-Dom and erotic sex that was really hot, but I prefer more story beyond the sex. The narration was fantastic, but even with great narration this book did not work for me.
This is book 1 and continued.

Great read

I struggled a little with the first few chapters. In fact I almost stopped trying to read the book. So many names so close to each other. Point of views seemed to jump a lot. However, I continued read and very glad I did. Some amazing very hot and spice scenes. Love the contrast between characters. Definitely going to to read the 2nd book in the series.

This was a fast past, steamy romance. I liked the story line, but it felt too much like 50 shades to me and I didn't like that we are switched from character to character. But overall a good choice if you liked 50 shades
