My kid has been snared by the Paw Patrol empire. I'm not a fan, but there's only so much I can do.
Hopefully there are better Paw Patrol stories out there because they sure aren't here. My kid's grandparents are apparently going to send this stuff to us anyway.
These stories are bad adaptations of TV episodes. We have a Peppa Pig 5-Minute Story Collection that I used to generally dislike, but now, in comparison, that book seems pretty great.
The stories in this collection are so heavily and poorly edited from the TV source material that they're borderline incoherent.
Anyway if it's you buying the books, please buy better books for kids made by people who actually care. Our kids deserve better than this.
I don’t usually add children’s books (or else I would crush my reading goal), but this sucker is 150 pages and we read it in like two sittings. The stories are…fine.
This is my life now. All we do is read Paw Patrol stories, and it’s hilarious that you can actually log it on Goodreads. 190 pages should definitely count for something 😂
I’m going to use this book to teach my kid that life is too short to read bad books. Ditch them fast, there are other gems waiting to be discovered. I usually love 5-minute stories, but found this one to be absolutely unreadable.
This is the one exception to the rule the book is always better than the show this is not the case here the show is much better than the book and goes into much more detail. I live with a lover of Rubble so he was delighted to read “Gold Rush Pups”. I was excited to know that in the television series the prospector was a POC. However it’s a clear show of nepotism that you allow your uncle to gold dig on city property and to use all the gold that is found to erecte a giant statue of your pet chicken as the mayor seems like a clear violation of power. I think it’s a nice touch that the villain throughout the stories is a privilege white male imagine that. He keeps seeming to avoid punishment that also seems really on brand to be honest.
I wrote this as a joke you can laugh it isn’t all that serious.
A collection of short stories featuring the pups from Nickelodeon’s Paw Patrol. Young readers join Chase, Skye, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, and Ryder in stories about genies, aliens, treasure, and, of course, rescues.
The target audience is, of course, fans of the cartoon series. Young readers ages three through seven are sure to enjoy the Paw Patrol pups’ adventures as they rescue their friends, protect Adventure Bay, and save the day!
Stories include: Marshall to the Rescue!, High-Flying Skye, Gold Rush Pups!, Pup-Fu Power!, Pup, Pup, and Away!, Chase’s Space Case, King for a Day!, Pit Crew Puts, and Rubble’s Big Wish.
Colorful illustrations feature all of the Paw Patrol puppies along with the characters and places young readers who are fans of the show will expect to see. With each story taking about five minutes to read, this book is perfect for a bedtime story.
Recommended, especially for young readers who are Paw Patrol fans.
The stories in this book are based on episodes of Paw Patrol.
I believe most of them seem to be earlier Paw Patrol episodes. Season 1 Episode 5 features Fuzzy, a cute little ducky who loves Marshall, and needs a little push to get back to his family is the first story. My girls love that story the most. They’d probably be happier if it was a book of only that story 😂The other ones don’t seem to catch their interest the same way.
Rubble’s Big Wish & Chase’s Space Case are two of the others that they’re more interested in.
The stories are good, they just aren’t as interested in the other ones.

Not pictures from the cartoon, the show is computer animated the pictures in the book are real cartoon images.
The stories entertain my 2-year-old niece for a few minutes here and there, but she wanders off after 3 minutes maximum of looking at the pictures and listening to me read. She usually will sit longer for my reading, and she loves the cartoon show so I don't know why she gets bored so fast. The stories are just like the tv show, but condensed to about 5-minute reads. The stories make sense, and flow just fine.
As usual, these stories follow the Paw Patrol episodes, so kinds who are familiar with the series will recognize the stories and may enjoy having a different format for them, especially if they are learning to read and want to work on their new skills with something they know and enjoy. Some of the stories can also be found in various individual and group book formats. These stories include the following:
Marshall to the Rescue High-Flying Skye Gold Rush Pups! Pup-Fu Power! Pup, Pup, and Away! Chase's Space Case King for a Day! Pit Crew Pups Rubble's Big Wish

This book is amazing got it from the library these 5 min stories are so cute I love paw patrol and to those that say this book sucks or it's repetitive of other stories in other paw patrol books go fluff yourself because this was cute and well put together perfect for bedtime
I one day will buy my own copy to add to my other 5 min story books I have
I usually love the 5-Minute Stories but this one was a bit disappointing. First of all, I'm not even sure if each story actually lasted 5 minutes. And the stories were just very poorly told with no "meat" to them. My 6 year old liked it okay but didn't seem to enjoy it as much as some of the other similar books we've read.
A very good book with lots of bright pictures. Got it when my kid was 3 and didnt start to read yet. Used to read him a story everyday. Even repeating them. Then it became a game to try and pronounce words. This led to his love for reading
Terrible written adaptation of TV stories. They are poorly edited and flow of the story is missing completely. I need to heavily retell it when I "read" it, otherwise it makes no sense to me or my kid.
(4☆ Would recommend) My son loves PAW Patrol. Having so many short stories in one book makes it a great bedtime book. I especially like this one, because my son is 3 years old and this one is more age appropriate for him.
Just the absolute worst. Silly, saccharine, John Klassen would NEVER. My babies enjoyed them in a passing fancy, and it's nice to indulge them every once in a while. But it's definitely the worst, laziest book I've read this year.
This book was a gift to my son who absolutely adores Paw Patrol. All of the stories were shortened versions of their tv show counterpart, but they were good enough to keep a young child's interest.
A nicely presented collection of some of the Pups adventures. A bit dull for adults as they are stories also shown on TV but presumably that is to help little ones associate words and letters.
It’s my toddler’s new favorite book. It makes him SO happy and so excited to read, and that makes me happy. I have a feeling we’re going to be reading this many, many more times.
