Spinoff for The Secrets my Husband Kept
When all secrets are revealed, life as Ava once knew it changes drastically. Her world comes crashing down when she caught her cheating husband with one of the people she trusted most in this world. Ava suspected Justin had been cheating, but to find out that he had been doing it with her male best friend tore her heart apart! All the horror stories about men who are on the down low while stringing women along to help cover up what they really had going on became a reality for Ava. Not sure how or where to begin picking up the pieces that were left of her life, Ava moves out and files for divorce. However, Justin has a hard time letting her go. Thankfully, she has a strong support system with her sister Dawn and Kevin by her side. When they vow to help her through her troubled time, they do just that. There was a time when Justin had it all. He had a reputable job, a beautiful wife, and a secret life that he had been able to keep undercover for years. Then one small slip up and everything he had was gone in a flash. Having a hard time accepting that he messed up, he tries to fight for his marriage… but is it too late?Dawn has been hurt by love in the past, so she convinces herself that being single and ready to mingle is the chosen lifestyle for her. Yassss
I’m so glad Ava got her happy ending with Kevin! I’m also happy for Dawn and Troy even though they lost their baby girl in the process. It’s about time Justin finally moved on and him n Tate got their relationship out in the opening. It sucks that Shaun lost his life but he should have been more careful with his careless lifestyle. Other than that a great ending to the book!!!

No more secrets
This book is great for someone who has been placed in any of the character's situation. It's conversations about how everyone feels or are dealing withe issue of book 1. The progression is predictable. The one piece of drama about the baby at the end could have been used earlier in the book to give it more life. Beating a grown man by his father is another piece that she could used earlier and get creative with it or just leave both out. First time with this author and I'm not discouraged. I'm moving to her series Silent Cries.

Follow on of The Secrets my Husband Kept
This book follows on from The Secret my Husband Kept... and I personally loved it. I wasn't struck on how the first book ended, yet over the moon with the way the author addresses the stigma and general hostility towards people with HIV.
I'm still not keen on the trend lately of authors repeating the story line when changing the character narrative. If I had to pay for these books I'd be huffing and chuffing, but as they're KU I can put up with it. This would have been a 5 star book, but I can't overlook the repetition.

Good read
I was really glad to get the updates on everyone. Justin really got on my nerves with the way that he acted clueless to his faults. He and Tate deserved each other. Loved the aspect of the friends to lovers role with Ava and Kevin. He really showed her how a woman should be treated. Who knew that a move would turn into long lasting relationships? Tory and Dawn were great together.

Friends as lovers
Oh yes you did it again. I loved how you came back and cleaned it up. I wad sad that Shane got killed and the killer got away. Was so happy that Ava finally got her fairy tale with Kevin. It was good that her sister found love also, I was so sad when their baby girl didn’t survive Monica. What a great job!

I'm so glad everything worked out for everyone. Justin didn't want to except that everything going wrong in his life is at that hands of himself. He should have done right by Ava when he had her.

A great storyline. It started out a little slow but got better. Ava had decisions to make about her husband Justin. Kevin was determined that he would be the man. Which man did she choose? A great read!

Emotional spin-off
Good spin-off/follow up book. I was happy to see how Ava, her sister and her ex-husband's lives turned out. Storyline was emotional with a couple of unexpected tragedies, some new romances and some happy moments.

Thus was a GREAT read!! Book 2 didn’t disappoint at all! I love the way the author told of each and every character! Love how the book touched on HIV, same sex couples, etc!

Travels for sure!
This standalone was to funny. Ava , Dawn, Kevin and Troy turn out as a good wonderful couple. Monica was a serious mental case. I was so glad Kevin out it on Ava ex. Loryn Landon keep it coming.

A great read
I'm happy how the book ended but in between was one hot azz mess. This book had all the twists and turns of a roller coaster and all the cops in between. I highly recommend this book to everyone who reads.
