A good start

Just reading the prologue piqued my curiosity. I like when the prologue gives a hint about the end of the book, but not too much of course!
I was afraid that the female character, Diana, would just be a childish teenager but for moment it's ok. She is thrown in a cruel and unknown world, blackmailed, betrayed, etc. Well, a lot for a normal girl.
Some passages of the book aren't very clear. It seems that there had been too much skimming or not enough descriptions or explanations about some scenes.
The POV isn't equally distributed between Wyatt and Diana. I would like to read more about Wyatt.

This book was okay, it was pretty short and fast paced. I’d admit, this one has been on my TBR for over a year, I just haven’t been in a mood to read werewolf books.

Unfortunately, this one fell a little bit under my expectations, going in, I didn’t expect it to be this short. I know that there’s other books, but I feel like this book was cut short majorly.

I liked the other creatures, the idea of them I’m fascinated about. I don’t know otherwise that, I really don’t feel too
much about this book yet just for the fact that it feels like the story barely scratched the surface in the series. I am going to move forward with the next book, I’m hoping it picks up more!

Diana

Diana finds out she is a wolf after four guys attempt to drown her and then a wolf bites her. She then ends up at Wolf Blood Academy where her father is dean. Wyatt helps her thru initiation, and they can talk to each other as wolves because of the blood bond. But the her mother tells her Wyatt was one of the guys that tried to kill her.

I was so happy when I saw 3 books to this series! Then I finish this one, that has a cliffhanger ending, just to find out the next two haven't been released yet! That is very frustrating. I was hooked by this book from the beginning. I feel Diana's confusion. This book is the paranormal version of 2020, it's like....now what? What more am I to handle?

Fated blood bond?

Amazing story about a young woman learning of her heritage. Diana doesn't know why someone wants her dead. Wyatt is the young man sent to kill her. Incredible things happen when they meet. I can't wait for the next installment of this trilogy!

Initiation is the first book of the Wolf Blood Academy series. While I enjoyed the plot, the story was trope-ish and reminded me of other academy books I've read. I'm intrigued by the way things ended, but not too enthusiastic about the characters.

Entertaining but...

The book was entertaining but lacking in flow, character build-up, and plot holes. I don't want to give spoilers, but the hero is flaky and the heroine bland.

I love Diana and Wyatt though Wyatt has orders to kill though he has no idea why . Diana who knows nothing or wolves or the supernatural is more than meets the eye. But why does wyatts father want her dead or the royals and why does her mother keep the biggest secret ever. Find out by reading. Also watch out for the next book which i am very much looking foward to .
