Slice of life with a dual genie twist

I was in the mood for a bit of a change of pace, most of the books I have been reading have been hectic do or die books with heavy action. I saw a mention of this book on a Facebook group as a modern slice of life book with harem aspects and thought I would give it a go. I really enjoyed it, there is enough going on to make it interesting, with a few sex scenes to keep it a little spicy. The MC is just a really nice guy who has had a few things go wrong which slowly start to work out as he becomes the master to two genies. He treats them more as friends than as subordinates which seems to go down well with the ladies. I can hope he never makes a third wish so the ladies can stick around. Well as book two is out, I think I will make my way to start reading that one.

This was SUCH A FUN book!! The story that Simon Archer weaved was truly incredible! I loved every character and I loved the narrator as I mostly listened to this on audible.

Our MC is a game designer that delivers things to various people. Nothing special until he obtains a watch which is basically another form of a genie lamp. Inside are two sexy genies who tell him he has three wishes but allow him to preview where a choice could lead him. That was a freaking cool part of the story. Also, he is a truly good person and the genies adore that about him.

I won’t share everything but the smut (there wasn’t a lot of it) was scorchingly hot but it wasn’t over the top! I liked it. The flirty characters made up for the lack of smut. Again, I’m fine with that.

I also like the genie backstory. The author didn’t have to do that but I appreciated those couple chapters.

Great read!!

This was a fantastic read.

This is one of the few books that I enjoyed reading completely because it didn't jump out of proportion for the story like making the character all powerful or throwing a hundred problems at him all at once. It wasn't forced and nothing seemed out of place. It flowed forward nicely and continued to draw me in throughout the entire story. I wanted to know what was going to happen next with the MC the entire time.

Wonderful and touching

The premise is interesting but it doesn't play to the trope of a guy with a genie going wild with self indulgent wishes. The idea of "previewing " wishes helps show just what can happen due to unintended consequences for their wishes. It shows how helping others can really help themselves at the same time.

I listened to the Audible version of this book. I really enjoyed the playful story. I liked the way it ended, with a solid ending but the possibility of a second or third book.
I would normally consider if I wanted to read the sequel, but the narration was so fun that I would want to do Audible again.

Good premise, good MC, and good setting! Genie shenanigans, and tense moments round out a stellar story and fun read. Look forward to the next 2 books.

An amazing book by a very skilled author

I absolutely love this book and am eagerly awaiting a continuation (if there will be one). A very entertaining and heartwarming story while not loosing the authors personal touch to the book. An excellent book in my opinion.

Law of Attraction

Well written, inventive, erotic probably have been thoroughly commented upon. The Law of Diminishing Intent, something i believe I intuitively felt, was the Nuget of truth in a fun read. Excellent story!

Good

I've been up and down about this book. The 2 genies irritated me at times, but at least the "what if" part of the story made up for it. And who of us haven't dreamt what we we would wish for if we could get our hands on a magical lamp?

Need a feel good?

A very sweet story. Honestly, it is. Yes, there is some adult hotness, and some silly magic stuff. The main character is a touch pollyanna, but the overall effect is a story you can feel good about at the last line. Good work, and I can't wait for the next one!!

The steamy scenes in this banal slice of life drama aren't good enough to overcome the lack of anything else interesting.
