I just loved this story. The writing is so good and the chemistry between the couple is undeniable. I felt that the female protagonist was truly a strong, modern woman that came across as thoroughly authentic throughout the story. And, of course, the MMC was just absolutely delicious. I enjoyed both of them and their romance as it blossomed on the page. Also, as a sucker for a great setting, I couldn't get over the fun of living and working on the Las Vegas Strip. Neon descriptions lit up the page!

As a daughter of a newspaper mogul, Miranda finds herself working for a Las Vegas paper (and competitor) under CEO and owner, Connor Reeves. Though she loves her job, she struggles to reconcile her past, her ties to her father's company, and her all-out, consuming attraction to Connor. But as the pair slowly discover each others' history, they slowly begin to realize how right they are for each other, if they can get over all the reasons they should be together...

Overall, this was a slow, sexy burn to the fullest! There were enticing moments between the couple right away and the sizzle just got hotter and hotter. I loved the characters and liked them as individuals as much as I enjoyed them as a couple. Can't wait to read book 3!!
