once, he heard a man say, you underestimate what pirates will do for the people they love.
so taehyung gets out of the boat, even if some part of him already knows he will not find what he’s looking for here. but the same thought that has pushed him onward for a year pushes him on now, just four words that have gotten him back onto that ship time and time again, no matter how many times he comes back alone:
