Clara Madigan is no Stepford Wife; she’s a kinky, devoted submissive willing to do whatever it takes to please her loving Master and husband, Bear. Bear adores Clara and has devoted his life to helping her explore her sexuality to its fullest. Even when her own desires seem too much to handle. But boundaries are tested when Bear takes Clara to the opening of a new Erotic club. Neither of them could have predicted the extraordinary events that unfold at The Garden of Eden. From dominance and submission to acrobatic lesbians, this party will push them both to their limits. And is the charismatic club owner all he appears? Or is there something more hidden beneath the surface?
The Garden of Eden collection blends together suspense, humour and erotic romance. Devoted is both a standalone short story and part of a five-part collection. The first four parts (including Devoted) can each be read as standalone short stories exploring different erotic themes. However, the characters and narrative overlap, until the final part where they culminate in a suspensive and thrilling climax.
These books are contemporary erotic fantasy with explicit sexual content. The Garden of Eden collection covers a wide array of themes including elements of dominance and submission, girl-on-girl, first-time, light-moderate BDSM, power, bondage, forbidden love, age-gap and voyeurism.
‘K M Strange is an author, comedienne, and one of the most up and coming influences in Erotica today.’ – K. M. Strange
‘I can take or leave her work.’ – K. M. Strange’s Mum
‘Have you fed our son yet?’ – Mr. Strange
Hello. My name is K M Strange, and I’m an erotic author.
Before I wrote this, I actually googled what to write in an author bio. Oh don’t look so disapproving, I bet everyone does it…Right?
Anyway, one of the first things that was suggested was to mention your credentials for writing about your chosen topic.
Ahem. I would like to think I’m not, like, over-qualified to write Erotica. I’m equally not under-qualified – just so we’re clear. I can honestly say that before I started writing I did a lot of research. Years and years of it in fact. Researching the craft I mean, not the content. Although I’ve researched some of that too. I’m getting off track. I studied Media and Journalism at university and though I didn’t pursue it as a career, it did give me a healthy fascination with the power of language and a respect for the art of writing.
I also like to think I add a gentle layer of humour to my writing, a talent I acquired by watching a lot of comedians (I’m especially fond of people like Ricky Gervais, Noel Fielding and Bob the Drag Queen) as well as comedy sitcoms like Fawlty Towers, Father Ted, Black Books etc. Most of these shows I watched with my parents as a child and I think they shaped my love of dry British humour.
As soon as I actually put a story together, I was hooked! I love creating characters and scenarios and seeing where they take me. I genuinely never know exactly what’s going to happen when I start a story (other than the obvious) and I feel like I get to enjoy the journey my characters take with them.
When I write, my main motivation is exploring human interactions; how our emotions affect our actions. I love delving in to the effect that eroticism and fetishes have on our psyche, and I’ve actually unearthed some interesting things about my own preferences along the way.
I hope you enjoy my stories, I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Though, as the old saying goes, ‘Be gentle, I’m new to this...’
