Madden Polunin is happy. Delightful
Love the dynamic between these two characters. It is frustrating. It is fun. It is hot. I want more of them.

A lovely follow-up to Bent, Not Broken
I loved this! It was hot and sexy, but also brought a much-needed harmony to Madden and Evan's relationship. The way Evan continues unbending to open up more for Madden is beautiful and I just love them making the effort to make their relationship work long term. Communication is so important and it's so rare that I read stories that present characters that NEED to take and then they actually do. We didn't get a lot of that in the main story so this is just a perfect coda.

Disappointed
Rating 2.5* Book one was great 5*. This novella ah, not so much. There was no story. Other characters invisible except for a couple of weird sightings with Madden's father. The book is 65% about the MCs sex life. Boring inner musing over should I or should I not... Explicit rendering of smex activities either by explanation or demonstration. Spice level bt.2-3. Grown street wise men so naive and clueless?? Faked angst to have a modicum of a story.

Holy Hotness Batman
Perfect follow up to Bent Not Broken. Madden and Evan are just the hottest couple. I never put two and two together why the cover had a lollipop on it but now I do. I'm a little slow sometimes. Just as many laugh out loud moments as Bent Not Broken. Still want more of them as they have so much more to explore in their relationship. Keep them coming guys.

Enjoyable
It was great to get a little more of a glimpse of these two. But it was really more of a teaser, in my opinion. They could have another whole book about their journey! But of course i feel that way about all their characters. Still it was enjoyable and fun.

I could read about these two all day!!
I love Madden and Evan, they must be the most realist couple I have ever read about. They just make me smile because they want to be together, want to please each other and just want to be a normal everyday couple. Love to here more, maybe them getting married, kids etc, it would be real and fun.

4.5 stars. I picked this up the minute I realized it was out. All other current reads be damned (for a few short hours). I'm so glad they gave us more Madden and Evan. I hope they continue their story in more books or novellas.

A sweet addition
A quite lightweight sweet addition to the first book on Evan and Madden. Glad to see they further dived into their relationship and how Evan bent to please Madden in many ways. They are so sweet for each other.

Love Them
I could read a book of these two just doing laundry together and enjoy it. Luckily this was even more exciting then sorting colors and whites. Evan and Madden are probably two of my favorite characters in NG and that's saying something because they all are fantastic.

A great read
This was the end of Evan and Madden's story, at least for now. Lol! It was a great story with lots of humor and sexiness.
I would recommend this book and outstanding authors.

I loved it. It shows Evan is willing to do anything for his person, plus you get a steamy bit of sex mixed in. 😉 Read Bent not Broken first though or you'll be lost!

Another great series by these authors and omg this book was amazing. I must say that im very impressed with this storyline and continued reading others in the series. I love these types of stories.

Finally the development we wanted. I mean, it is not too sweet but the characters definitely seem human. And Evan finally embraces his sexuality.

Loved this followup novella. Definitely best read in order. And now I really want to go back and read River’s book.

I really was super excited that this book was coming out. I love Maddie and Evan and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. You see the love and care that Evan has for his person. He wants to make sure Maddie is happy and you see Maddie enjoying Evan efforts. It was a delightful read.

Evan is still shy about doing stuff with his man, he wants to be brave enough to act and do what he wants to do with Madden.
Their relationship started really "brutally", months later they're still learning to be together and to do other things than rough f*cking.
Can't wait to read more about the New Gothenburg world!
(The porn stars remind me of someone ;D )
