I absolutely loved superhero squad it was better then the first one because I loved the addition of the new characters cherry and Benjamin. I also loved the idea that auroras grandma was a spy that is just so unusual in books. My favourite part was when aurora went on television on good morning Britain and she demonstrated her powers to the presenters and it all went wrong it was a disaster. I love Alisha Dixon's writing style she writes very good and it is perfection. I also love the characters my favourite character is cherry I love that her superpower is mind reading she can think what other people are doing. I can't wait to see what Alisha Dixon writes in the future.

An amazing book.! Aurora Beam forced to go to a superhero conference but when she has only spent a few days there things start to go horribly wrong. The precious stone, The light of the world, gets stolen which is the source of the Beam powers and if broken all the powers disappear back to the galaxies from where they came from. They must find Mr Mercury who has stolen The light of the world.

Aurora and her friends are back and the antics more memorable than ever with a trip to live morning TV on Good Morning Britain no less and heading off to nanny's in Cornwall for a break away from the safe everyday life saving of cats and more.

However when a superhero meeting takes place a return of an enemy in disguise means that its up to Aurora, her glam auntie and her squad of new superhero friends and The Brightsparks to stop the evil stealing their source of powers else it could pose future problems for them as their superhero power source could be stolen and taken away forever...

Fast paced and high intensity this is a fun book children will enjoy all the antics of the superhero family!

What I love about these stories is how easy they are. Sometimes I get so caught up in all these complicated plots that I need something simple. The more I read about Aurora the more I smile and laugh. Being a superhero isn't easy. But being a superhero in the spotlight? Impossible! Shes having to deal with a very public life while trying to maintain her grades and her friends and family. She struggles so much with her identity. I think thats something we can all understand. But I love how supportive her friends are. I also really love the superhero convention. It was a way for Aurora to know she's not alone. I knew who the villain was but loved the reveal anyway.

Again, the second book was awesome! I read the first book a bit later and it was a good book. The second book had some surprises hidden in there and I love the way Alesha Dixon does that! It really adds some character to the book. Would recommend
