Hit and Miss
The initial series about Izzy Greene was certainly amusing, however, too many continuity errors, plot holes and mistakes appear.. it's unfortunate that they haven't been properly edited as most would be relatively easy to fix.
As for the remaining novels in the set.. no, they really weren't anywhere near the first series.. they were rather weak, too conveniently resolved and missing good fully formed characters. Izzy isn't fully formed; the descriptive powers of the Selfman's could do with some work, but she's the best thing they've created. Less vagueness, more detail and check your work.. in one book a brooch is found in two different places which makes no sense and at the end of that book Izzy receives a letter about a free cruise and the next book starts with Rushmore being the one who got the letter instead not Izzy.. there are plenty more.. a little bit of a rewrite would easily fix this.. 2.5*
