I accidentally sent my first scandalous text straight to my secret crush. It was a mistake, and this is a nightmare!
I sent a shocking photo to a serious-minded, by the book, hotter than sin, state trooper who is known for walking the straight and narrow.
Now, Officer Troy Witmer is knocking on my front door with his heart-melting half-smile and stormy blue-gray eyes.
Troy's laughing off the mistaken message showing me a sweet and funny side of him that I didn’t even know existed.
If I thought I had a crush on him before, now I'm in love with the man.
But it doesn’t matter, Troy’s transferring to a new patrol area.
I’m already married to my job and travel for my new business.
I'm twenty-three, he's thirty-two.
Nothing serious could ever develop between us.
One flirty night of fun won't hurt anything. Will it?
Now I’m back in town and Troy can’t transfer. He's working on a huge case. Mine.
Troy’s gone from being my secret crush to my ultimate protector . . . and possibly my true love.
Sweet and Steamy Romance of a more experienced Alpha Protector who is a state trooper and a Strong, Independent Female set in a small town with just the right amount of Romantic Comedy and Suspense! First book in a 3 Book Series of Stand-alones!
This is the first book in the Evans Sisters books and I could not wait to read this book after loving the previous series (Which I recommend highly). We met Elouise in Accidentally Divine and this is her story.
Elouise is the middle Evans sister and has known Troy Witmer for most of her life and has been her secret crush since she was fifteen but has always believed he is secretly in love with her older sister Samantha, so when she accidentally sends him a photograph of her in her underwear that was meant for her sister who is concerned about a birthmark on her thigh, that will teach her for ending texts at three am in the morning. So when he turns up at the Inn that morning and they share a moment together, she is left with confusing emotions. El is determined to become a success and making her dreams come true, creating a tearoom with her mentor Winnie who she met in Paris, but her world looks to be crumbling around her when Winnie has a heart attack and she needs to get to Paris in a hurry but when her and Troy give in to their feelings she is left heartbroken when she accidentally sees a sexy message on his phone when checking the time. Is everything what it seems and can she make her dreams finally come true in not only her career but in her love life as well? Will all her dreams
Troy Witmer could not believe the text he received from Elouise Evans the woman who has starred in most of his fantasy’s for the past year and after that message he knows that she is going to have the starring role for the foreseeable future. Troy is a state trooper who is determined to further his career and has no time for love or romance or so he tells himself but he cannot get El out of his head, the feisty woman has burrowed under his skin and there is nothing that he can do to stop thoughts of her creeping up on him especially after the night they shared before she left for Paris, but when she sees the messages from his ex will she give him a chance to explain or push him away and when he finds out there is danger surrounding her future will he be able to protect her from what is coming for her?
This was a sweet and funny read that I couldn’t put down. Jenn Sable is becoming a one click author for me I love the world that she creates, will believable characters and engaging stories and I am desperate to read the rest of the Evans sisters books. 5***** read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
**ARC ALERT** I received this book as an ARC and I am willingly leaving an honest review.
I always knew that Trooper Troy was going to knock El off her feet. It was the moment in Accidentally Divine, when Chloe was over at the inn and Troy came over with Mason... there was just something about their energy that gave me the tingles. Well, my tingles were right and here we are, finally!
El definitely is the free-spirited Evans sister, and of course being the middle child and all that, I think she just craves to be herself without people thinking that she is just an attention seeker. El wants to make something of herself and I think the fact that her sister Sam went and got herself hitched to the ultimate Brocker brother has her feeling a little off balance and the only way to regain her equilibrium is to make it on her own. She craves independence, but its also been a bit of a problem for her to gain it because her sisters, especially Sam are somewhat in a sense trying to get her to slow down. El just wants to feel in control of her life, she couldn't prevent her parents death. But her life, this she can control.
Trooper Troy, my oh my... "What a MAN, what a MAN, what a MIGHTY GOOD MAN", LOL, sorry for going off there. Troy, like El is at a crossroads in his life, but mainly his career. Troy has to make a decision, he is either going to follow in his fathers footsteps and choose to advance his career by choosing to transfer to a new position in a different town. Or follow his heart by choosing the lovely El Evans. With his mother and sister moving back to town Troy certainly has his hands full, however he can't get El out of his head and off of his mind.
What started off as a big OOPS from a wrong text turns into something more than either could have imagined. And with El's life in danger, Troy is going to do as he swore he would always do, serve and protect. El Evans isn't going to die on his watch or get away that easily...
Overall, Jenn I am in love. I fall in love every time I read your books. The Brocker Brothers stole little pieces of me and I think you are sending the men in the Evans' sisters books to finish me off. Like i always say, go and grab a copy and fall in love. Small town romance has never felt this good.
This is more than I was expecting, in a book for sure. You know this is going to be a romance, between an alpha protective Trooper, who has been family friend, and a much younger, independent entrepreneur, who has been jonesing on him for years. But this is so much more. I could not stop laughing, at the comedy of errors over a mishap, concerning a picture meant for her elder sister. She is the middle sister, who is trying to prove herself, worthy. Her eldest sister, is the responsible beauty, and her two younger twin sisters, have always been the poor adorable twins, left without parents at twelve. As for her, she had always been the free spirit. filled with energy plus. So, what appeared as mischievous, was just experimenting. But after her parents passed, Trooper Troy was always at their house checking on all of them, but always asked for, Samantha. Therefore, Eloise always assumed, he was crushing on her sister. But, when her sister married one of the new billionaires in town, she couldn’t figure out why he hung around. She figures he’s pining over, Sammie. The comedic humor of the townspeople, as well as the strong emotions, for some of those same townspeople can bring out, is surprising. More than that, the suspense of a chase, and so much more. Yup! Totally surprising for sure.
Eloise Evans- Middle sister of the Evans sister- Considered the flaky one of the bunch. Just proved them right... 3:00am Her demanding older sister Samantha threatens to come over & take the compromising photo herself if she doesn't text her the attachment NOW! Samantha wants to give this photo to a new doctor that might be able to remove my birth mark in this private spot. Well, you cannot argue with an Evans Sister let alone the oldest one Samantha. I should have waited until later in the day. I should have followed my gut instincts' Instead while I am half awake or half asleep whichever way you want to look at it. I take the damn shot & attempt to send this compromising photo of my inner thigh to my sister.
This is where Eloise's life starts to get complicated & oh so embarrassing. That damn photo Samantha wanted doesn't get texted to her sisters cell. This embarrassing attachment gets text to none other than my adolescent crush of nearly a decade! Officer Troy Witmer. Please don't let this text go thru to his cell. Please don't be able to open & text back! Wrong!! I even get an answer. Oh my God, I'm mortified! He was able to open the attachment.
Yes, Troy the hunky Trooper that I has been a part of our lives since he became a cop over 11 yrs ago. Since that dreadful night when my parents got killed in a car accident. Troy who has been in close friends & in love with Samantha for as long as I can remember. At least that is what I thought all these years? Could I been mistaken? Did he love another sister? ME?
Later-mid morning, my twin sisters, decide they know what is best & play drama queens. When I don't answer the front door due to exhaustion from lack of sleep due to stress & stupidity of the early morning hours. They decide to break into my bedroom at the Inn. Where our recently new neighbor calls the police when she hears my sister say that I am dead! Call the Police! Teenagers! I hate them!!
Guess who's shift just started & responded to this false alarm? Knocking at my front door with his heart-melting half-smile and stormy blue-gray eyes. My CRUSH Trooper Troy in the Flesh!! Can it get any worse!! My most embarrassing moment of mistaken messages turns out to be the beginning of my witnessing the funny & sweet side of the man I have adored since I was 15. Realization sets in that maybe he has feelings for me too. Wouldn't that be great? Wait! Why now? While I am trying to kick start a career by expanding our family Inn with a connected Tea party/Events business. This is what I have wanted to do for forever! I don't need any male complication, let alone with the gorgeous Troy that I have secretly been in love with since Forever!
Officer Troy Witmer- What a beautiful shot! If this was a mistake I'll take it! What do you want in return Eloise? Then I block her. We cannot have communications on the dept. work cell? Why did she send it? There has to be an explanation? We will need to check into making sure that photo & communication doesn't go out within the dept. Even an accident could be considered fraternization. Definitely would create problems in a small town. Not to mention hinder any chances I have taking the next step within my career as a state Trooper. Which I have just been informed by my Chief that I need to transfer to a different county if I want this promotion. I cannot afford any scandal's, accidently or not? Though, I have to admit I am smitten & intruded by Ms. Eloise text. I wonder if we have a shot.
Eloise, has been a beauty since her teens. She just happened to blossom into a knock out now. That was a decade ago. Though I have been close friends with all the Evans girls. I think the town & Samantha's sisters thought that Sam & I would be an item at some point. The oldest Evans' sister. Samantha and I were just good friends. I wanted to support Sam as much as possible & being closer in age it only made sense. Since their parents accident was one of the 1st scenes I witnessed when I was a rookie Trooper. That was the hardest Next of kin notification I had to inform a family. Let alone three beautiful, strong sisters. Sam went from BIG sister to MOM in one night. The town & myself would do anything to support the Evans' sisters.
Just (TROY'S) heart @ some point went from friend to flip whenever I was around Eloise. Her free spirit, ideas, brought her true beauty out in the open. Trooper Troy- married to his job, Travel to a new county to go up the ranks in his career for that promotion. The next level in the life of a Trooper. Where my father's legacy in law enforcement got cut short once shot down. Let's not forget the guilt I want to remove from my conscious because I didn't understand as a teenager why my dad didn't want to be around his family? His career, patrol was more important than mom & sis & me. As to my own legacy, well Gossip spits up like weeds. I made a mistake when I was a young man & believed April our local gold digger loved me. Sleep with me & then the next morning put her engagement ring & left to become the next 1st lady to the next governor. April now getting a divorce from that political embarrassment her husband created with the scandal of him cheating on his socialite wife with prostitutes. No more road to the Governors mansion.
The socialite, gold digger thinks I want to win her back. We would be such a good political couple. Especially since I am moving up in the ranks. Well, Trooper Troy is not that stupid young man anymore. Where I don't know what real depth of character is within a woman. April is not that type of woman. She is only out for herself & the biggest diamond she can get next.
My rejection of her has now put my job promotion on the back burner. April has become the local newspaper gossip queen. I happen to be her current gossip. She has made a formal complaint & put on the record that I my mental state should be in question because of my father's death over a decade ago. Which stops any promotions in my sight until the investigation is concluded. It doesn't help to have her rich cousin & a bully to the Evans' sisters make false accusations to my mental state either. I have had a spotless record for almost 12 years..
Now that the complaints are unwarranted. I can get back to protecting the people of our town. One of those people is Eloise. Her career is just going to start off & our flirtation seems like it could go somewhere. Now she is going to Paris after a night of passion to find out about her partner in the tea business health. It looks as though her partners husband's cousin Damen by marriage feels he is entitled to the entire tea family fortune. Damen will kill anyone who stands in his way of getting the fortune. He has already killed the family lawyer Niles. Eloise who has not been given the control of the empire is next. Now that Tula family friend to the Tea Queen & physic comes to help establish the Tea shop business at the Evans Inn. Their are serious threats to Eloise life. Trooper Troy Wilmer has the case of his life to protect Eloise Evans from a psychopathy. He needs to protect El to keep her business alive. but to keep his heart alive. Troy will not except losing the love of his life now that they finally admit their true feelings for each other. That they are falling in love. Will true undeniable love win over greed. Read & find out

Jenn Sable has written a 5-star book that will keep you reading until the end. Eloise is the middle sister out of 4 and she feels like she always needs to prove herself to everyone. Troy is a state trooper and feels like he needs to protect his community. Eloise has had a thing for Troy for a long time but thinks that he likes her older sister Samantha even though she is married. Maxwell has a thing for Eloise, but she doesn't want anything to do with him. Maxwell's cousin April is back in town and she wants Troy back but he doesn't want her and she is not happy about that. No one in town likes April because all she does is cause trouble for everyone. Eloise sends a picture to Troy by mistake and they start texting back and forth for a while until Eloise deletes the picture and messages. When she wakes up the next morning she starts screaming and one of her little sisters thinks she is hurt and tells the other sister to call 911. The neighbors hear this and call the state troopers and Troy is the one to respond to the call. He doesn't get there until after Eloise sisters leave. They talk about what happened the night before and again she tells him that it was a mistake, the picture was to go to her sister, Samantha. Eloise gets a call and is told that her business partner Winifred has had a heart attack and she is needed in France. When Eloise gets to France, she runs into Winifred's nephew by marriage and he is not happy. While Eloise is in France she finds out some things that are a surprise to her. She is staying in France to help Winifred get better, but while she is there she is called and told that the inn she was turning into a Tea House has caught fire so she comes home. She thinks that she will have to take care of everything by herself but her sisters tell her no. Owen, Samantha's husband finds out that Winifred's nephew is after Eloise after he killed Winifred's lawyer Nigel Phillips. Eloise is surprised when the town gets behind her about the Tea House against April. When Troy is out on a call and Eloise has a party at the Tea House Winifred's nephew shows up and wants Eloise to give him Winifred's bank account information, she tells him she doesn't know it. Somehow Troy gets word that Eloise and the other ladies are in trouble he goes back to the inn. Will Eloise get away from Devin Winifred's nephew unhurt? Can Troy get back in time to save Eloise from Devin? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

If anyone remembers Eloise is the 2nd oldest to the Evans sisters. The oldest sister, Sammie is married to Owen who is the eldest Brocker brother. Eloise, the wild hippy child, marches to the beat of her own drum and luxuriates in who she is... although not all of her character is authentic. As the adopted child Eloise has felt, at times, that she was not as connected as her older and younger sisters and the odd duck when it comes to her interactions with the community where she grew up. Due to feeling like the odd man out Eloise has focused on protecting her heart from feeling ostracized and focused on becoming a successful business owner to leave her mark not only on the family business but also to certify her self worth with her family who only see her as their beloved sister.
Troy is an upstanding and honest state trooper with a heart of gold with family issues of his own. Having lost his father at a young age Troy has taken upon himself to do everything to make his father proud after never having the opportunity to receive validation from his father himself. Troy has made it his life mission to be the best of the best and rise through the ranks of the state troopers. With a crowded home Troy's love life has taken a hiatus but the down time has allowed him to reflect on his dating life and has caused him to realize that he's kind of tired of the meat market that dating has become.
Two individuals who have placed their self worth in the validation of others never realizing that they both have hearts as wide as the all outside but are timid about venturing into relationships that could break their hearts. Troy thinks the world of the sisters and has been there for them through thick and thin and absolutely adores El but she's too young for him... isn't she??? El has had a crush on Troy for years but he's forbidden fruit.... after all Troy is in love with Sammie... isn't he?
Venture into this family dynamic and the journey of two people who will go above and beyond for family and friends but now have to learn to reach for what they have been denying themselves of for years... will they make it??? There are twists and turns that added angst for the reader. This novel provided the ultimate lesson we could all learn and that is to go after your dreams while you can... tomorrow waits for no one... Seize the Day!!!

Her love interest and hero none other than the State Trooper of her town.
Fantastic book! The Evans sisters bring to this book lots of laughs, sisterhood, love, loyalty, friendship and so much more. But with Eloise who goes by El, things with danger, trauma, accidental text, long time love interest and much more befalls her. The sisters, Sammie being the oldest then comes El and lastly the almost identical twins Abby and Rose have quite an interesting relationship. One feeling as an outsider but truly loved and respected by her sisters. Their family inn is going to be partly renovated for El's tea house. While Troy's temptation is El, there is so much working against them. He also has challenges from one particular hilarious farmer whose antics have Troy being called out to the farm to resolve. Though Everett does end up doing some rescuing of his own. El must make an unexpected trip to Paris to visit Winnie her business partner. After Winnie does something that puts El in danger, Winnie has to go into hiding. Though she sends a long time friend, Tula to help El out. Tula brings along with her some excitement to the town of Frost Forest. I loved this book. Loved the Evans sisters and especially the hot, sexy state trooper Troy. Jenn Sable wrote this book so well that it wraps around you as you're reading it and you are there as things happen. Definitely recommend this book along with the other books in the series as I am sure they will be like this book.

Eloise and Troy are friends, that have a secret crush on each other. One night Eloise mistakenly sends Troy what appears to be a suggestive text...
This opens the way for them to admit they have feelings for each. But will the townspeople make it easy for them to just fall in love? Troy is a State Trooper, Eloise is a small business owner who is now starting out. Troy is all about advancing his career...he has his personal reasons. Eloise is the middle child in a family of four girls, who feels the need to prove that she can pull her weight.
When a stalker appears in the picture trying to get to Eloise, Troy shows he can be more than just a friend. He becomes her protector!
Although I have not read the series where all the sisters are introduced, I quite liked this standalone story. The characters are well developed, the story is interesting, there is a bit of mystery, some twists, and romance that kept me entertained. Now I am going to read the series since this story has sparked my interest in the other characters.
My Heart’s Protector (Evans Sisters Book 1) by Jenn Sable is a fun, energetic and enjoyable read. Eloise (El) has sass and energy to spare but Trooper Troy doesn’t seem to be lacking in any way to keep up with her. These two characters have great banter, plenty of flirting going on to keep things intriguing. The Evans Sisters are just as interesting as the love interest - quirky, funny and taking no crap from each other. Book 1 of this series brings together El and Troy. They have known each other for many years - El’s secret crush and Troy’s recent fantasy. Throw in a little suspense, a couple of antagonists and this book is not only interesting but also captivating to the very end. Overall, a great start to a new series in a familiar setting with characters fans of this author will recognize and appreciate. And, the surprise is on them, Troy and El also get the HEA they never thought they wanted! I read an ARC of this book from Booksprout and voluntarily share my review.
The first book in the series Evans Sisters, this one was the story of Eloise and State Trooper Troy Witmer. We met both of these characters previously in the Brocker Brothers Series. Troy and Eloise had known each other for years, and there are several years difference in their ages. Troy did not start to notice Eloise until she spent a semester aboard in Paris during college. Eloise on the other hand had a crush on Troy , since she was fifteen. The attraction has only gotten harder to exnore for both of them, and they both try to fight it as they are career driven, but fate has different plans. Grab a comfortable chair, a cool drink and plan several hours to set back to enjoy a little intrigue, a vindictive girl from the past, a psychopath, an old farmer, and few other interesting people as they cross paths with these two on their way to their HEA. You will find it hard to put down until you finish.

Oh, I so love this first book in this new series, which contains drama, crime and loooove (hot and sizzling). The characters are so beautifully drawn, you'd think you'd meet them on the street at any time. Troy and El are adorable together. You'll fall in love with Troy, too, so I'm looking now for my own Troy.
Each is the other's secret crush and both don't really dare to tell or show it to the other. In principle lost time for them but it is incredibly fun to watch the two as they finally find each other for their HEA.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series and YOU should start immediately with this first book.
So, go ahead, grab this book and let the story give you relaxed reading time.
I received an ARC of this book provided via Booksprout. I have voluntarily chosen to leave my review in support of this book.
What happens when the text that was suppose to go to El’s sister ends up going to her life long secret crush? It makes for a darn good book. Troy and Eloise’s story is sweet, caring and has a little bit of drama/suspense to go along with it. Eloise is the middle of 4 sisters and feels like she’s always been the let down of the group. Troy will soon show her otherwise and when someone sets out to harm her, we see that Troy will do what he has to to protect her. Jenn will grab you at page one with their story and won’t let you go. It is beautifully written and if you’re like me you will find yourself liking how Troy shows El that she is worthy of being loved. So just go ahead and get this great book you will really enjoy getting to the Evan sisters. I am voluntarily leaving my review for the ARC copy I received all view and opinions are my own
I loved Eloise and Troy. From the moment she sent the accidental text all the way through to the end. They were both so believable as characters and just seemed to enjoy the simple things in life! Troy was the guy who is strong and honest, but has a personality that makes you smile with how he does/says things to make Eloise nervous. And you get the feeling he is only doing it because he loves her reaction. Eloise may think that she is the weird middle child, but she isn't. She was likable from the start with her quirky behavior reminding me what it was like to be 23. The ending was a great and adorable ending! I can't wait to read more of the Evans sisters.

This book is a spin off but you can definitely read It without having read the Brocker Brothers
El is the middle child of the Evans girls and she is the most off beat sister. She faces her personal demons of being the middle child and not being good enough for anyone. She is strong and independent but doesn't realize it or see the value in herself. Trooper Troy is the man to show her what she has to offer.
This is a hot and Steamy book that ends far too soon. I may have wanted to slap the other Evans sisters for the way they spoke to El but I still loved getting to know them more and look forward to another great story!
My Heart's Protector is such a wonderful read. Jenn Sable has outdone herself with this book. This book is full of drama, trauma, emotion, insecurities, and most of all love. This is a story of Eloise (El) who is the middle child and feels like she is a failure and can’t make things work on her own. Troy is a State Trooper who is determined to help her see that she is not a failure and is capable of doing things on her own. The chemistry between El and Troy keeps you turning the pages to see if they ever confess their feelings for each other. I loved this book so much that I purchased a copy.

Absolutely loved it! It all started with a middle of the night text, sent accidentally to Troy, that was supposed to go to her sister. Of course, he’s her secret crush, and Troy finds the whole thing amusing. I simply adored Troy, he’s sweet, kind, and brought a smile to my face. I loved Troy and Eloise’s, they were both likable and relatable characters. This is a beautifully written story, that’s sweet, fun, and entertaining, and captivated me from beginning to end. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
Making Their Dreams Come True: By Korkoi - OMG! This is one story, that you will definitely need to find a few quiet hours, a bottle of Merlot and a comfy bed to relax in, so you can truly appreciate and enjoy reading the book. I was so engrossed in the book, that I when my doorbell rang, I ignored it, even though the person at the door could see I was home. The story is that good. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Omg they just get better and better! I loved reading the brocker brother books and now we get to see the rest of the Evan's sisters find their special someone too. After seeing Troy in so many of the other books i was hoping he got a book too and i was so excited he got paired with El. They make such a cute, adorable pair. And now i cant wait to see how their story goes as we see them in future books too! Now to wait for the next one!

WOW Jenn great job with this one! I loved every bit of it. From trauma, drama, love and so much more. Jenn has you wanting to see what happens.
El has always had a crush on the much older Troy but never told him. Mistakingly she sends him what would normally be a suggestive text. He is willing to laugh it off. When trouble comes her way he’s there to prove he can be more than her friend but also her protector.
Will he be able to save her from this trauma? Will they confess their feelings?

I liked Eloise and Troy's story. It all started with a text meant for her sister Sam and snowballed from there. The charcters were likeable and the plot well written. Eloise was fiercely independent when it came to her sisters but relied heavily on her business partner. Troy's the alpha male, willing to protect and serve the community and her. There was a little drama and suspense towards the end of the book, but it didn't take away from the love story. It's a good read.

3.5 stars but still think want to read more I feel really bad for not giving more than 3.5 stars It's just I got a bit lost a couple times during the book like it time jumped like one min the business was in the loo the next there was scheduled dates for it?? But I don't know it could of been just me maybe I missed something, the general plot was fab, and I loved Eloise and Troy knew there was a spark between them! And still look forward to reading more from the sister's.

Young women tries to figure out her place in her family (with her obnoxious sisters), in her community, in her business and with Troy/Tory the hot trooper who has had a crush on her but comes with ridiculous baggage.
Story was good, but this desperately needed a proofread by an editor and another read by the author. Typos: Is it Tory or Troy? Devon or Devin? Many sentences are missing words. I could figure it out, but I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO.
I read this as a part of the set, maybe this got a draft version??
I loved Eloise and Troy. They are so cute together. The start of the book was hilarious with the text and just kicked things off well. All of the sisters are adorable and I love their relationships with each other. And Troy is just yummy. He's sweet, funny, protective, HOT, and lovable. A really good romance! I love this book! Can we say another winner! Sibling love, community and all the drama! Eloise is trying to prove she can make it. Problems occurs and Troy will help, her crush and a trooper. A page turner for sure and the banter between the characters are putting smiles on my face! Can’t wait to read the next in line from Jenn Sable.

Great beginning of a new series! A series of Evans sisters, conected with Brocker brothers! I like the ideea of connecting the series! In fact, first Evans sister story (Sam) was a Broker brother story (Owen). Ha! I love Eloise, and especially Troy! And their story - with love, heartbreak (just a little), suspance..... and do I mention love??? Can’t wait to read the stories of twins!

A small-town romantic romance with a touch of humor. A fun read with likable characters, and an engaging storyline. An older man, younger woman theme, and a sexy, steamy story. Once you start reading you will find it hard to put down. Easily read in one seating. The author did a good job of developing the characters in this relatively short book. No cliffhanger, no cheating and a happy ever after. I read an arc via Booksprout and voluntarily reviewed it.
Such a beautiful, heartwarming, romantic story!! This book is why we all read this genre in the first place! Troy was a sweet, kind, caring person with a wonderful sense of humor and El was the perfect counterpart to him and together they made a complete whole that most of us can only hope to find! I loved it!! The cover really catches the essence of the book too!

4.5 stars! I loved El's character in Accidentally Divine and was looking forward to reading her and Troy's story, and it didn't disappoint! After a hilarious mix up with a text message , Eloise finally has hit Troy's radar.... this is the guy she has been crushing on since she was 15, but for reasons of her own he is off-limits. There is drama, annoying exes, suspense, tea and so much more it was a fantastic and funny read.
This storyline had me in stitches as it progressed through the pages. Eloise who goes by El, life is full of danger, trauma, accidental text, long time love interest and much more. Troy is interested in El and when he finds out that she is in danger there is nothing he won’t do to keep her safe. I loved the characters and the flow of the storyline.
