Mick “The Tick” Sinatra, the boss of all bosses, is at a breaking point. His organization in Rome has been infiltrated and the Feds are closer to tearing the whole thing down than ever before. His oldest daughter’s mother, Bella Caine, has decided to reassert herself into his life by giving him what no other woman can give to him: insider information on a rival organization, an organization Mick believes is behind the infiltration. And his beloved wife, African-American actress Roz Graham-Sinatra, is having a career crisis of her own and is fed up with Mick’s neglect. He used to always be there for her, but now that Bella is front and center in his life again, he’s hardly ever around. And he’s not around when she needs him the most. She gets emotional support from a close friend, a powerful producer, who also happens to care for her.
At first Mick is jealous and enraged and believes reminding that producer of just who Roz’s husband really is will be the end of that “emotional support” he was giving to her, but Mick quickly realizes that his ruthless scare tactics aren’t going to be enough this time. Because Roz leaves him. She will no longer settle for his leftover time and leftover love. Her decision causes Mick to do something he has never done before: to confront his own failures as a husband, and to fight with all he has to regain the love and trust of his wife.
And if that doesn’t work, he’ll beg.

Rosalind Graham Sinatra was tired of being taken for granted by her husband Mick "the Tick" Sinatra, the boss of all bosses. When she needed him he was always gone taking care of his business and that was not fair to her or their children. She did not want an absent father for them or an absent husband for herself, especially when she needed him the most. She had had enough and needed a break to get her mind together. It didn't help that there were forced in play to make the situation worse on the couple.
Michello Sinatra was a stubborn man's man who was solidly in control of his business that he just had to see about himself. He thought he was in control of his family too when Roz showed him otherwise. But with all of the outside influences happening showing Mick he was not too big to go down. He was really afraid of losing Roz. She made him a better man and he could not lose his heart.
I loved this story, as usual, Mallory wrote it with lots of action that was full of drama. I just love how the Gabrini and Sinatra families come together when there is trouble in the family. I loved how Charles "Big Daddy" Sinatra is always the mediator in the family. Mick got a glimpse of what life would be like without Roz and he did not like it. Even though Roz was tired of being Mick's second thought, she knew that she loved him regardless of what he put her through. He was still the best man she'd ever known. She knew what he was when they married and to her, he was worth loving. It was their love of each other that kept them together and it would their love that will keep them together, no matter what the outside influences are. Mick was a better father because of Roz and was willing to be the sacrificial lamb to keep his son from going down with him. That courtroom scene was amazing. I just love how Teddy played his part and got the prosecution all twisted. In the end, both Roz and Mick were willing to sacrifice themselves for the other. They were willing to die together if the other could not be saved. As long as they were together, that was all that mattered.
I am still holding my breath. Omg this was a great book Miss Munroe thank you for the ingenious way you craft your books This was such a fast moving book and so action packed Nick the tick is one of my favourite Sinatra He grew up without love from his parents and Miss Munroe show lack of his childhood nurturing can either make' break or harden him. It harden and make him so complex He found a great love in Roz but still struggle to relate He is a troubled man but he loves his wife Teddy is going to be a great leader. He is so street smart I would recommend this book Please keep them coming Miss Munroe
What can I say? I truly enjoyed this episode. Mick had every right to to be scared. Ros and her pre middle age jiggers was realistic. I woud like to read Mick's inter thoughts and emotions about Gloria leaving, it was mention previously but not in great detail, and possible Teddy. So much potential. Killing Billy was too easy. It would have been nice to see Roz become gangster in that industry. What fun! Mallory Monroe continue what you do best. Spin you web of creativity. Peace.
Roz and Mick the Tick's marriage is in serious trouble...there's old enemies threatening to pull them apart....old exes still trying to make plays for them...the federal government makes a run at Mick...finally bringing him down....the Gabrinis and Sinatra clan along with Hammer and the Drakos close ranks around them....but only Roz and Mick will decide how it ends...
Monroe left a few loose ends with this one. It was an enjoyable read. The time jump was seemless in this book but the motivations in a few plot threads fell short. I always thought Roz and Mick should have had one more pregnancy. Also losing patience with Teddy and Nicki - let’s fish or cut bait.
I absolutely loved this book. It has so much in it. I love the twists and excitement the book bring, I couldn't out it down. The adrenaline was pumping. Teddy let's get married already Nicki has definitely stood by her man. She is his ride or die. Also it seems Tommy is keeping a low profile. He show up for others troubles but has none of his own.
So, I waited to see what was going on between my favorite couple and I was not disappointed. This was, as expected, a good read. I couldn't give it 5 stars bc the epilogue was lacking something. The ending felt a little rushed....... Teddy, he had me scared for second. I wasn't sure what he was going to do. The Tower is tired and Mick has either gotta pull him in or let him go. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for his next book. Is he gonna 💩 or get off the 🚽? Nikki is getting tired. A date needs to be set....... I enjoyed this glimpse into my favorite family, the Sinatra/Gabrini clan. I dnt care whose story is next in line just as long as we get another installment soon. As with all these book. I buy first and then read the synopsis and reviews last. I was not disappointed with this read. It's highly recommend. The last few books in these combined series have felt rushed like M&M had a ghostwriter or something. THEY were lacking. Greatly. But, she seems to be getting back on track just like I knew she would. Anywho, until the next book in the series drops. I hope y'all have enjoyed my review. I'm unapologetically bias when it comes to this series. Mick is my book hubby. I love me some Mick so, I'm a fan until the end. Period.
The story of Mick Sinatra is everything you expect and more. It's exciting, sexy, thrilling, and suspenseful. Then the story gives you a little more of will he won't he factor. Teddy is the wild card in this story and then the foreshadowing about Gloria’s relationship. I'm hoping that the next book is about Gloria and that sh finally finds a man that's worthy of her love.
I absolutely love Mallory Monroe. It does matter what I am reading, I will put that book aside to read Ms. Monroe’s. She is that good. I loved this story of Nick and Roz. Love them Sinatra men.
Another great read. Mick and Roz are one of my favorite characters. Loved this story line one of the best. Keep them coming. I will never get tired of the Sinatra’s and Gabrinis.
Mick and Roz are one of my favorite Mallory Monroe couples. i enjoyed this book. We knew who the bad guy was and why pretty early, but we were kept in suspense until the end as to the real back story of why. And we were once again reminded that Big Daddy is the REAL Boss of all Bosses. The book was very well written. I can't wait to read Ashley's story next
Now this was good. I love 💘my Mick. This was worth me being up reading til 5 a.m. Thank you for a good read. I love Teddy. Alpha men were no joke. When Mick told Roz he was the head of the family I screamed 😂😂😍😍 Yes!! Teddy in the courtroom was too good. LMAO.
I love this man Mick the tick. Roz is no slouch either. It was good to see the gang was all there for Mick. Can’t wait for the next story on this family. Keep writing Ms. Mallory.
This was the best. I usually always love Mick and Roz, and as usual Ms. Monroe did an excellent job. Seeing all the usual suspects it was great to see them in one place. Can't wait for my favorite couple Niki and Teddy soon I hope.
I love all of Mick and Roz books, but this one I fought hard to give a 5 star. I saw over the last 3 books Mallory turning Roz into a weak ass Grace (yes I still hate Grace). I am very happy that in the end Roz was redeemed. Joey, Gloria and Teddy has also been even more annoying over the last 3 books too. I really see no growth in their characters as it relates to the relationship with their father. A blind man could see that Mick loves his kids. Their insecurities are now too over the top and is exhausting even for me the reader. And don't let me start on Bella Caine, Roz needs to kick her ass or Mallory just needs to kill her already. Anyhow as usual Mick Sinatra is an excellent read just because of MICK!
The Sinatra, Gabrinis, Reese family have been the most entertaining books that I have read in a long time also the Drakos. Any series that Ms. Monroe writes keeps me very entertained throughout the whole series. My favorite is the Gabrinis, and the Deal is series, she reverently keeps you very well in the edge of your seat. Especially in today's trying times. Thank you Is Monroe for writing these books. I'm looking forward to your next book.
Soooo, what is Roz got a do about her acting career? Will she go e it up for good as well as her talent agency? And last but not least, is he go na put Bella in her place and give his wife the respect and Dr devotion she deserves????
I love the Gabrini/Sinatra series, but Mick is my favorite, I enjoyed the way Ms. Mallory wrote the story, I thought for sure Mick was going down. Keep them coming. Great book and worth the time reading it.
I loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I was very glad to see Nick show some emotion. I didn't expect him to jump for joy but it was nice to see him "smile". To showed a different side of herself too not letting Nick take her for granted anymore.
I didn't see this coming. The Almighty Mike in jail. But all is good in the house of Love it was good to see Mike showing love. Until next time keep them coming. Now it's Teddy time I hope
Teddy, gave the performance of a lifetime, in that courtroom. I knew he wouldn't break his trust in Mick, but his testimony...priceless. You just gotta love him. I want him and Nikki to get married already. I think Mick, should let him out of the family business. Now that Roz and Mick are back together, I hope that he'll change his old ways for the better. The courtroom drama was a real suspenseful, nail biting thriller. I thought maybe the Feds finally got Mick. Until Teddy took the stand. That was awesome. Looking forward to the next book.
I realized that the last books starring Amelia, Mick and Roz, Sal and Gemma, even Tommy and Grace were all disappointments. After reading most books written by Mallory Monroe - over 90 books total, I was ready to put her down for good. Mick Sinatra: Needing Her Again saved one more "one click" from me. I noticed that when I was bored by a main character, Ms. Monroe introduced another one for me to love. Dutch led to Reno who led to Tommy who led to Sal who led to Big Daddy and Mick. While I was still in love with Tommy and Sal and Mick, along came Trevor and Amelia and Alex and even Oz and Gloria.
I fell in love with Jimmy Mack and Trevor and Teddy, the new guns. They were being set up to carry their very own books. Jimmy Mack was always helped by Reno and Tommy and Sal so there's hope for him yet. Brent was a failure but Bobby isn't nor are Big Daddy's other children, even the two who are not too bright. Absolutely no Dommi for me, not Gemma's and Sal's daughter and no to Tommy's kids or Reno's and Trina's two youngest. Teddy was set up for other books. I bet you missed that during his testimony in answer to of what he was second in command to Mick, his answer was “At the docks for his import/export business,” Teddy said. “Then I left his employment and opened up Teddy’s Imports, my own thing. " It's time for Teddy and Nikki to leave Mick. I want more of their love story, even marriage and children. Nikki certainly won't be working for Mick, even his legitimate business. Mick won't need her to keep Teddy - Teddy is out of there. Oz and Gloria came to the trial. Are we being set up for more stories about them? If so, I'm ready and still want more of Mick and Tommy and Sal. Will Mick please send Bella to Gloria and Oz - let Oz deal with her.
In this book, we see all of Mick - his absolute love for Roz. He just never had the words to describe feelings, he never had to explain anything. He realized what the words were and said them. Some saw that as weakness and were disappointed with this book. It showed that they were "wired" the same. We saw it in their first book and the love grew as Roz helped him show his love for his older children and even his family, the Sinatras and Gabrinis. Think about those books. Love was a part of them. It took Mick realizing that he loved Roz so much that he would beg her not to leave, if necessary. This book showed her Delia - what she was willing to take from Mick. They both loved each other so much that they would always save each other and, if they couldn't save each other then they would die together. That answered everything the fans saw in Roz. She wasn't his doormat. Mick wasn't the "end all and be all" we expected from him - he wasn't purely "Mick the Tick". Some, mistakenly, saw weaknesses when it was "absolute love" which is all strength. How relieved was I?
I loved seeing all the family working together for Mick's benefit. They increased my pleasure in this book unlike where they added nothing to Amelia's last book. Here Sal and Reno showed up and were funny but Reno doesn't have to be so stupid. Tommy was as smart as usual but came out flat in this book. It was hard to read this book as a standalone with no knowledge of the family, even with ever present descriptions. Too many loose ends. Was Mick simply using Bella as his spy, by any means necessary, to find out information for him? I get Bella passed info to Mick she gained from Frankie DiGenova, but how did that translate to Billy Lancer? How did Billy know that Roz walked in on Bella and Mick? How did he contact Charlotte in time for her to call Mick while Roz was still there. There wasn't enough time for that to reasonably happen. Mick and Roz go to California while they were having a party in Philly on Roz' new yacht? They conveniently waited for Billy Lancer. No driver or bodyguard and Lancer was a well known billionaire producer. How could he intimidate mobsters to go against Mick? What power did he have in such a short time and how was he "new on the scene" - the Mob scene?? No one would buy that!!! The grammar usage was really bad...the way Roz and Mick spoke was unreal. Does Ms. Monroe have a ghostwriter? Those things and others kept me from giving it 5 stars as well as I loved it. They won't keep me from buying future books with Mick and Roz or Teddy and Nikki or Gloria and Oz or Trevor and Carly or even Bobby and his love - Rain? However, I would pause before one clicking Amelia and Hammer or Sal and Gemma or Reno and Trina or even Tommy and Grace. This book made me ready for those aforementioned young guns.
I read the other reviews and they made new pause on buying this book.I thought that Mick was lusting after Bella Caine, he wasn't. I thought that Mick's character hadn't grown, he has. I do feel like all of these characters take a long time to grown and mature but I'm real life it takes people time and dine of them are EXTREMELY slow learners as well. It seems like Roz is the only female outta the Gabrinis and Sinatras that will check their man and expect more from him......but in this book she pulled a Trina on us and folded like a cheap suit. Both her and Trina left their men but came back and basically told them that no matter what wack behavior Mick or Reno gave them they were staying because they were the lives of their lives. That is getting old, these characters/men are disrespectful. These women outta all of the others (Gemma, Grace, and Jenay) are supposedly the strongest ones. Not taking anything from their men but they are constantly disrespected. Reno with his double standards and roving eye. Mick with never being home, even going other places when he gets back in town. Mick allowing Bells Caine's constant disrespect as well. Ms Monroe please allow Roz to beat the fire outta Bella in front of the whole family!! Show Trina check Reno real HARD the next time he's starting at some check and show her telling him that she's over it and will leave if the disrespect continues.I'd like to cheer for these women, please!
Like I said the book was good better than what I'd suspected. Gloria is growing in small increments, let's help Joey along too. And WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BRENT AND MAKAYLA'S STORY???? Why were they having problems!?! It was mentioned several times in other books but we never got a second story or an explanation about what was happening!
Ok , I think for the first time I thought that the sinatra's were actually going to go down .Mallory you waited to the very end to save their bacon .Theodore was able to do something even Roz couldn't do ,he gave a award winning performance.I love how all the clan shows up when someone is in trouble and doesn't leave until the threat is dealt with.I hope that going forward Mick realize what he has in Roz and start to show her that he is just as committed as she is and that he finally tell Bella to become her on bank .Ok ,so now the real question when the hell is Theodore going to make a honest woman out of Nikki and marry her already . Oh ,and even tho I'm not really a Joey fan can you cut a break and please write where he stops wearing too big clothes and chains and let him finally come in to his own .As always another hit and I can't wait to see what's next
The more we get to see of Mick Sinatra the more we like him and his hard exterior. The writer gives us a real look in on a marriage that is in peril because of neglect. I love that we are getting more of a human side of Mick but the writer is not changing him. Love Roz ,this is a woman who knows her worth and what she is about. I love also that she has come to the conclusion of who she is married to. This is not only really good storytelling but it told so well that it reads like an episode from your favorite show. This is absolutely a very entertaining story, and way to spend time.
Mick Sinatra: Needing Her Again is a very good and suspenseful romantic thriller that earned a rating of five stars. This episode of Mick Sinatra is as exciting as the other installments. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as both Mick and Roz have personal problems that effects their marriage. They have to fight to protect their marriage and to defeat their enemy. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading very good romantic thrillers.
I believe you give us a background on all characters in every book in case of new readers but as a core readers I am over it! We know them, who theirs wives are, their kids, uncle, aunt, cousin, befriend. We know! It's predictable and at this point I keep reading because I am invested but that can change.
I read all her books, now I know all the family,it's fun to know the other people in the book. This one was great,I like Mike the tick and this had a little influence in it.My favorite is Reno, and I wait every three months for her to write a new book, can ,t wait until August 1 for a new series. She is my favorite author.Write quicker.
A great addition to Mick Sinatra storyline, this story sees Mick at his most vulnerable. With an enemy who is dead set on bringing the family down with an unknown motive. Also the relationship between Mick and Roz is put under intense pressure. All the Sinatras and Gabrinis make an appearance in this story.
