I've turned traitor and spy. By the end of this, someone big is gonna die.
I hope it's not me.
My sister, Mavis, is going to be put on trial. Mr. Zee is certain to find her guilty of helping the monsters in their war against the gods. And then he'll kill her.
I can't let that happen.
So when I find out about a sword capable of wounding him, I set out to the collect the pieces.
With the sword in hand, I'll convince him to step down and free Mavis.
Or get killed trying.
My time at Mount Olympus Academy is coming to an end. The only question is, whether I'll exit the gates dead or alive.

What a thrilling storyline! I certainly wasn't expecting anything like this happening but it was glorious! Edie is one kickass chick! The stakes are high and the Gods are pinning students against students, and even with a war against monsters still at their doorstep, the Gods still continue their selfish behaviors!
This book was a solid 5 star read... until the end. I felt it was SUPER rushed and I can see that the author has planned spin off series, but I wanted just a bit more resolution in THIS book when finishing the trilogy. I loved this series, I thought that the build up was freaking awesome and that all the situations and characters were perfectly placed and them BOOM it felt taken away from me, which dropped this down to a 4 outta 5 stars to me.
Now the actual story and plot was really great. As stated above, I thought that the author created an amazing world that was well thought out with light romance and heavy action. I thought the characters made sense, even the 'villians' but are our 'heroes' truly what we think they are?!?!
All in all, I still love the series and the world that was built by Lunetta, I just wish there was an epilogue or more at the ending of this book! If you like YA/NA Paranormal Romances, I think you will like this series. It is not heavy on the physical part of romance (which usually I like that part ;) but I did not feel as if I was missing out on anything) but more so on the violence of war. There is a very heavy message behind the series of whether war really makes sense and if people keep retaliating, will there be anyone left?
PS: Thank you to Demitria Lunetta, Kate Karyus Quinn, Marley Lynn and Enticing Journey Book Promotions that allowed me an advanced copy of this book and the previous books in the series so that I can read and review honestly and voluntarily.
But there are a couple loose ends and I cannot determine if I liked the character Edie. I mean what happened to Hermes? What about the other gods (maybe this will be covered in the next spinoffs?) Where will everyone go, if their current academy is not available? As for Edie, she is supposed to be a pacifist, but is supposedly forced to kill and hates it. However, she wanted to be in the assassin class?!?! It makes no sense and there were not any assassinations. It was not like the other side had a true leader, and the supposed evil leader of the monsters was just a family man. It made no sense. In reality, the monster side wss never fully developed. We were really never given a true glimpse of who they were. It would have made sense if Edie had fallen in love with a monster, that way we could have gained compassion and understanding of who/what they did for society and why everyone hated them. I mean from my understanding the gods and monsters had their issues, but it was never explained how the vampire/shifter and so on, became the army for the gods. Why were they not considered monsters? Why did they not fight for the monsters? This series could have been a little longer and more details and world building would have been beneficial. I wish Edie had grown from a weak coward to a strong independent leader, but it never truly happened. She never seemed to like or accept herself. Also, the relationship between Val and Edie was stilted and felt forced, or like a friends with benefits situation. I gave this story 4 stars (more like 3.5) even with all my complaints because it was still an entertaining read with a lot of potential. I cannot imagine this book without an epilogue because it would have left the reader throwing their kindle/book. I do not know if the author is new or established, but they have potential, and I hope they reach it in their next series.
I loved this book up until the ending. It is let down by a rushed conclusion that left a lot of questions unanswered. Overall it was excellent. The story and characters were well written and developed. I love the character personalities and their individual relationships. The story was action packed and had suspense, emotion, intrigue, hot chemistry and romance. The ending needs work or an epilogue needs writing to close the story more effectively but overall the book and series as a whole is an excellent read that I’d highly recommend!!

I love this series and these characters. I can't wait to read Amazon Academy next. If you haven't already read these books, do yourself a favor and pick them up. These stories are filled with friendships, love, family, and tons of great adventures.
It's over! I enjoyed the entertainment of this trilogy, but Dewar it could have been more! I wish the authors filled pages with the different point of view of the other characters rather than the mains whining about not killing.
Interesting story she did against zeus for he has done so wrong with this past long time ago. However that girl Edie is legend of dragon. She ain't scared of her family went crazy and death. But her sister is still alive and safe!
I love when I find new (to me) authors. This is definitely a universe I'm going to continue to explore. I have always found the gods interesting and love this take on them.
What can I say, book 3 did not disappoint! I cannot believe the turn of events, suspense and huge surprises. Finished this book in less than a day and getting the next one now! A must read series!
This is a story that you can't put down. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. So, so funny and adventurous. Hot alpha males, mean girls and a heroine you want to be.
What will Edie do? Zeus wants Mavis dead, shifters and vampires are getting more antagonist. How will they get Zeus to listen to reason or step down? You have read this great conclusion to find out
This series was so much fun, while also being a lot darker than I expected when picking it up. Great entertainment, and characters you actually get attached to - even the plants and dead birds!
An excellent conclusion to the "Mount Olympus Academy". Action, suspense, intrigue, amazing plot twists, great characters, and sizzling chemistry. A rollercoaster of a ride! The ending left me with some unanswered questions, so is it possible there'll be a spin-off? I certainly hope so!

This is an intense story line that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and turns and hot chemistry. Lots of excitement. A thrilling must read, every page will have you enthralled and panting for more. Let’s not forget to mention the chemistry of these two.
Wither & Wound is the conclusion to the Mount Olympus Academy Trilogy, and I loved just about every bit of it. So, since this is a 3rd book, YOU MUST READ Fire & Blood (Book 1), AND Pillage & Plague (Book 2) FIRST & IN ORDER. Seriously though, if you don't follow it on order, you will miss out on A LOT, and probably be very lost. Everything is coming to a head at MOA, and Edie is in the middle of it all. Her sister is now a prisoner there, and the fact she & Nico brought her in has the guilt overwhelming, while the hurt is the gift that keeps on giving. Nico has gone full blown a**hat, and I couldn't stand him at this point, while Val & Edie are finally acting on their attraction for each other, but it doesn't come without big risks, since it was put out that people had to date within their paranormal group. Everyone is walking on eggshells, since all kinds of chaos is going on. Edie is also still searching for answers as to her family. The twists were seriously f-bomb dropping worthy, and I was on the edge of my seat cover to cover. Now the ending, I didn't like it all that much, because it wasn't even just rushed, it just ended, like a total drop off ending. After all that I had been through already with Edie, I seriously needed more. So, despite the fact that I'm in love with this trilogy, when it comes to that ending in Wither & Wound, I have to rate it 4.5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a great conclusion to this series. Well written plot and story line that is so engaging from the start. The characters are well fleshed out and keep you interested through the whole story about them. World building is amazing throughout. I have loved reading this series and following the characters through all their journeys. I can't wait to read more from this author. Recommend reading.

This book was about on par with the other two. Main characters, storyline, plot execution, side characters, details of events, action, suspense, twists and turns…there were both good and not so good with it all. Overall it was a decent story that holds interest and has an okay conclusion. I was a bit disappointed with the end though; I was expecting a more of a detailed wrap up versus just ending. It felt kind of rushed and it was left open-ended where more could have been added to finish out the story. Though, if you enjoy academy-type reads with light romance, young adult thinking and actions, healers, vampires, werewolves, gods, monsters, and the like with snappy banter, rivalry, secrets, and battles then you will enjoy this series.

This book was phenomenal. The characters have really developed. The story was very compelling and well written. However, I did not like the ending. I felt like it hasnt completely ended. Is there going to be another book? Well that being said, the story was very enjoyable and I found myself immersed in the story very quickly. All in all it was a very entertaining read.
