I'm the author of this book. It's the first of five I am planning to self-publish on meditation, Higher Consciousness, and related topics. As I was editing my first book, Higher Consciousness Meditation, I kept coming across references to the scientific research that had been done on the subject.
I decided to investigate and found, to my surprise, that more than 3000 studies have been done on the benefits of meditation on various human conditions, from stress and loneliness to heart disease and psoriasis. Many physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ailments responded to meditation "treatment" in a positive way.
I decided to summarize some of the findings and to write about my opinion of why meditation works the way it does. And how anybody can use meditation to amplify the benefit of traditional medicine to accelerate health and healing. I will be writing about this subject in more depth in Book 5 but this book serves as a good kickoff to my series which should be complete and completely published by the end of 2020.
