After being willed back home by her late brother, Aria McFee is trying to readjust to life in Glendale. With her vision in tow, things aren’t going as smoothly as she hoped. When a contractor pulls out of a job last minute Aria is forced to turn to the last person she wanted to call, William James Bernett.
William is a local handyman that has made a comfortable life by staying in his hometown. William’s sweetness for Aria causes him to act on emotions he’s buried for years. Is this arrangement one that will finally push Aria and William together for good?
This was a cute sexy short story about old friends that grew up together always having a thing for one another. Aria left the city and went to live her life , but when her brother passes away she returns to the small town and sparks fly AGAIN between her and Willie. Willie shows his Ladybug that she really can’t live with out him…Willie & Aria finally find their HEA.
Where is my William James Bernett?!!! I absolutely adored Aria and Willie! Willie was smooth, confident, and played no games. He let Aria know what was up the minute he found out she moved back permanently. She tried to fight those old feelings but, she couldn't. It's sad that it took them 20 years to finally get together but, sometimes you have to go through some things to get where you should be. Although Aria's brother wasn't physically present in the book, he played a pivotal role in her and Willie finally getting together. This was a grown and sexy love story meant for the grown and sexy. Edible Arrangements was my first book by Cassandra B. and it did not disappoint. I look forward to reading more from her.
Sweet and Spicy! I loved this story. Willie was everything, Aria was everything, the mamas were hilarious and I could feel West’s presence through the whole book and the chemistry between the leads was out of this world. Such a good book.
Edible Arrangements was just a feel good little love story. It was super welcomed for Valentine's Day. It was a small town, returning home love story. It had the potential to be sad, but it wasn't. Willie got his girl back, and he's not planning on ever letting her get away again. I wish this story was more developed. There were a few spelling errors here and there, but I enjoyed this story. Short and sweet
Although Weston was not physically present in the story, he made such an impact on so many lives. His love pushed them to be and do the things that they didn't believe they were capable of. Alright now William James! 😃 How could he be such a gentleman, and roughneck at the same time? Gotta love a well built country man! The love and respect that William had for Aria, was just unreal! He knew who he wanted and waited patiently for her, as there was no substitute. Aria, wanted and tried to run from her feelings, but William was what her heart wanted. Loved the push and pull with them initially, but you could feel the love they shared. Great read! 👍👍👍
Willie and Aria's story started long before they both made the bold move to be together. It took them both growing into their own and getting a divorce to realize they were each other forever. I loved the plot and how Aria's brother and father played such an integral part in it. It was the loss of Weston that finally brought the two together. Aria and Willie's mothers are going to get a grandbaby to spoil with this union. It is a win-win situation for everyone.
Fantastic read, most definitely recommend. Mrs. Pynn is blessed with her gift, it has not been a book I have read by her so far that I have not enjoyed.

Aria McFee's return home, orchestrated by her late brother's will, sets the stage for a delightful exploration of second chances and the unpredictability of life.
Aria's attempt to settle back into the rhythm of Glendale encounters an unexpected twist when a last-minute hiccup leaves her with no choice but to seek assistance from the local handyman, William James Bernett. The beginning story showcases the tension and unease between Aria and William, promising emotional depth and the potential for a blossoming romance.
The narrative's strength lies in its ability to navigate the complexities of grief and readjustment. Aria's struggles with her changed reality and compromised vision add layers to the storyline, allowing readers to empathize with her journey. Cassandra B skillfully captures the essence of small-town dynamics, creating a vivid backdrop for the characters' evolving relationships.
The character of William James Bernett, the local handyman with a comfortable life rooted in his hometown, introduces an intriguing dynamic to the plot. William's long-buried emotions are stirred by his connection with Aria, setting the stage for a compelling exploration of the intricacies of love and personal growth.
Edible Arrangements is a blend of sweetness and complexity as Aria and William navigate the unexpected turns of life. The title itself suggests a delightful analogy, perhaps hinting at the beautiful and intricate relationships that can emerge from seemingly simple situations. Readers can anticipate a symphony of emotions as the characters grapple with their pasts and strive to build a future together.
Cassandra B's Edible Arrangements is a captivating read, offering a poignant exploration of love, loss, and the unexpected connections that shape our lives. With well-drawn characters and a promising premise, this book is a delightful addition to the romance genre.
Edible Arrangements by Cassandra B. is about Aria McFee and William James Bennett. Aria’s brother Weston McFee passed away from cancer and he left instructions for her to stay in town. Neighborhood handyman William James has been in love with Aria for years now that’s she back home he’s not letting up. As Willie helps Aria update her shop Mocha and Merlot (gourmet chocolates and wine) the chemistry builds, her guard drops and magic happens. I love the relationship that William James has with Mrs. James even though he’s lost his best friend he realizes that she lost her son and continues to take care of her. Mrs.McFee is hilarious, I’m glad she was always there to get Aria together. This is a sweet read!
Pure comedy, that's what Willie James said kept him in Glendale. Funny thing is, it was also part of what kept me turning the pages. Well, other than what was sizzling between Willie James and Aria. Willie James is a man's man with a plan, straight up no chaser. Mrs. McFee, Aria's mother is the truth - no filter, and no shame at all when it comes to urging Willie and Aria along lol. Not too many of the townspeople held back when it came to speaking their mind LMBO. This story is enjoyable from the start all the way to the finish - a complete short read. Cassandra B will have you wanting to find your own Willie James if you don't already have 'him'.
Loved this story to pieces. The characters, especially both of the moms, were outright hilarious!😂😂 William was so smooth and confident and straightforward with Aria once she came back home. I hated that he waited all those years to tell her and show her she was his "one." However, I greatly understood the level of love, maturity, and restraint it took for him to let her find her own way in the world because homegirl was determined to get out of that town. I would have loved to have met Weston...he seemed like a great son, brother, and friend.
First book I’ve read by Cassandra B and I loved this!
I will say that Mr. Willie made this book for me with all his BDE (if you know, you know)! I loved that he knew what he wanted and wasn’t going to give up until he was done. Willie was a gentleman who loved to talk his ish and I loved it even more. I’m glad that Aria got enough sense to stop fighting what they both knew was inevitable. I also loooved their mama’s especially Aria’s. She was with all the shenanigans lol. Great read with a sweet ending. Loved it!
The title was so cute, I thought it was fitting to give this novella a try. It was a sure bet. Willie James was and had loved Aria since they were young teens. Aria moved away and married someone she would soon regret. She moved back after her brothers unexpected death. He asked his best friend to look out for his sister and his mother. After a while the friends made an executive decision I think you will enjoy.
Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm, that Willie was some kinda man!!!! I kept picturing a big, ole cornbread fed, sexy bear of a man.😁 I loved how he handled Aria. He was slow and gentle with her, but at the same time let her know he was not to be played with. They seemed so perfect for each other, I hate that it took them this long to get together, but they made up for it. This was a fun, passionate story that was a delight to read. 5 ⭐️ Stars!
This story will have you believing in a forever love all over again. I need me a Willie pronto!! Aria knew that she couldn't run from that African god (her words lol) even if she tried to. The loss of Weston brought them together at the right time. I loved Aria's relationship with her mother. It reminded me of mine with my mommy. This was a great love story and it was so needed today!
Willie and Aria were meant to be. Out of tragedy came happiness that was long overdue. Willie knew Aria was his. His patience was commendable because Aria was a handful!, in a good way of course. Both of their mothers were sassy, I loved it. Although this was a short read, there was no unanswered questions, no lack of character development. For such a short story, it was complete.
Oh yes a thousand times over because Willie James Bernett will forever be bookbae and husbae of the year... I was saddened about the terms that brought them back to the the lobe they knew was embedded into them but lawd the chemistry and undying lobe between Willie and Aria was unmatched. I definitely loved both of their mothers because they were both sassy. I loved this book and I definitely would love more
Sometimes it takes losing soomeone close to push another to do better or make choices they were too chicken to make. Aria had all the people to support her even when she didn't think she could do it. William has been patient but reading their story and how he lets her grow to know the love he has had for her and guides her back home in the wake of her brothers death and end of a a marriage that needed to anyway.
This was a grown and sexy friends to lovers romance. Willie and Aria were a sexy couple with much chemistry. Willie had loved her for years and if she was honest the feelings were mutual but she was too stubborn to admit it. I loved the role Aria's mother played in pushing her to face the feelings she had for Willie.. Short, sweet and sexy but totally worth the read.
Where oh where can I find me a Willie? Honey chile, because he is now my official book bae. Country with good manners, great with his hands and mouth and knows how to treat a lady and alter her walk. And I loved how real and raw Arias mom was. This was a great story about how sometimes it takes life altering events to push you to truly live out your dreams.
I like the fact that this was a short novella but in the end it felt like I read a full novel about the love journey of Willie and Aria that West and Mrs. McFee was very much in support of. I like that Willie moved at the necessary pace and secured his future with Aria by shutting down her residence. I felt slighted that we did get told what they were having.
There wasn’t much substance to this book. The first 80% of the story was the main characters’ self reflection on why they should be together. The tie in of his girl being his edible arrangement was really cheesy. The happy ending was predictable. This book left a lot to be desired.
Weston laid the foundation for the lives of the people he loved and they knew they couldn't disappoint him. Willie knew capturing the heart of Aria wouldn't be easy, but he succeeded! He wouldn't live his life without his Ladybug. Aria fell hard for Willie and loved every moment of being his all. Amazing story!
Ah, Willie James.. that’s what or who made this book for me. He is definitely #baegoals !! This story had a touch of sadness, but overall it was about conviction, love and a willingness to let go and let life happen. I loved Aria and William as a couple. Very well written, with limited errors. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
This was funny I have and niece called Aria and her nickname is Bug. Aria left to find love and all along it was staring her in the face. Willie knew she was his soulmate but let her go to find her way. He regretted his decision ever since. Tragedy brought her back and he was determined not to let her go.
Big Willie better go for his woman! No playing games and no bs. Snatch her up and show her what’s what cause you know she like to fight! Aria better stop being stubborn and let the Lord bless her! They’re Mama’s were the real MVP’s!!!! Had me cracking up! I enjoyed reading this book about unrequited love, love missed, love lost and love found.
Loved this story! Aria returns home and the love and was running from is still there. What happens when sparks still fly and Willie is ready to claim what has always been his? 1-click and find out. You do not want to miss this sweet "edible arrangement".
Nice!!! I love the antagonism it was so sexy. Flirting is the best foreplay. Willie and Aria are goals. Friends to lovers for life. I appreciated the courtship and the i sight to their thoughts. The passion was hot. Good easy romantic love story.
Wow! This was the sweetest love story. I loved every minute of it. Willie and Aria was perfect together. Thank goodness for Aria’s mother, who put her foot down and made Aria go after her man. William William William, ooh wee what a handy man! A true HEA!
This was a nice story well written love the characters. Willie and Aria's love story was beautiful. The loss of a loved one bring these two back together. Really was a very good story.
Willie got he together real quick when she tried to down play his life. Aria knew she wanted him from the beginning it took her mother to push her to him. Loved this little story.
